I know it's long but the coach is really cheap, I think still about £60 return from london. Just depends if you can put up with 12hrs each way.

My flight from Barca has not been cancelled yet, but I have no faith it will run, so planning to drive overnight up there, sad that some people and entries will not make it, but there should be a good spirit amongst those who do make it.
Should be passing Calais tomorrow morning, will keep my eye out for any hitchikers

I read a quote from Gypsy earlier to say that most if not all entries had been recieved (I guess that's based on the expected numbers, so of course there could still be a few out there)....

M y flights supposed to be at 6am tomorrow but im not holding my breath..looked into the train and its expensive and outward is sold out only other option is national express 100 quid but is a 12 hour journey!! thats half my trip gone on travelling..not sure il be making it now...

aa road planner says probably 6-8 hours from your town, including tunnel trip,its not too far and all fast roads ..
eurostar direct to amsterdam are quoting prices of around £300 and not many seats left ..
i been trying all week to get myself fit to go and looks like i cant anyway ,volcanoes allthough beautifull sure do create shit
