People that are blindly anti-gun just baffle me. Maybe people that have never seen or used a gun have this false idea about the uses of guns, but ignorance is no excuse.

All depends on where you were brought up. My friend who grows outdoors here carries it for protection from rippers... they go to great lengths to chop down an immature plant and try and smoke it...

No matter where you grow up, guns have other uses than against a human.

Of course, they are still excellent in that effect.

There are always issues in the wild where a gun could be important. I always at least take a little .32 I've got just in case a rabid skunk crosses paths. They've gotten to be a real problem around here.

Of course, two legged skunks are even more dangerous, and it just so happens it works on them too.

I'm not "anti-gun". In fact I own two of them myself. When you live in the woods and have 50 chickens, you need a gun to protect them from coyotes, bobcats, etc. I've owned and used guns all my life although I don't hunt.

What I do see, however, is someone posing in a menacing way with their finger on the trigger and, really, no reason to add that element to the photo. Your plots are nice and your plants are healthy...why not stick to showing that instead of displays of (mock) power?

get them vegged up bigger if possible, indoors?
duno your setup. but a massive amount of clones will work, it's just that this "oh fuck we need to plant" style opf growing can be avoided with a little planning. Butte will probably outyeild you with 10 plants... and no one is going to prison for 10 plants.

(nor do you need a gun to "fight" a bear... be respectful and they will respect.)

Huh?? Unless you live in Montana or Alaska the odds of being attacked by a black bear are less than 0.1%.

Also you are doing 400 5 gallon grows, do you realize how many "tiny" buds you are going to be trimming? Out here we have the "less number" more yield philosophy. Why not just run 50 or so in 45 gallon pots?

Finally, if your remotely in a hot area them black bags with only 5 gallons of soil is more than likely going to "overheat" your root system.

Don't ruin the vibe with arrogance now, I happen to agree because you are giving ammunition for anti-herb campaign. Your picture can easily be copied from this public forum and twisted as they always do. IMHO there was no need to flaunt your rifle like that...

sir, do you have helicoptors that run heat detectors in that area? i know alot of places they run the heat gun and look for patches of area lettiung off alot of heat and what not, thats how they busted a couple houses.

ok, seriously. where did this rumour develop that weed plants give off heat that can be detected by infra-red. that just doesnt add up. these infra-red heat sensors can be used to spot grow houses from above due to the heat from HID lights, but plants themselves? c'mon.
interesting fact; in canada it is illegal to use that method to charge someone with running a grow house. flying over toronto they can see hundreds of grow houses but can do nothing about it.

I think the rummer started because the weed plants themselves can be detected with infered camera's. The ganja puts out a specific spectrum.

i highly doubt that marijuana gives off a different spectrum than any other plant. so in a forest with many different plants, including pot, the pot will stick out like a sore thumb? i doubt it. i strongly believe that this myth developed from ppl who didnt understand that helicopters using infra-red were looking for the heat from grow houses, not outdoor plants.

perhaps they should do this on Mythbusters.
