nice man just made my christmas morning with this post... love seeing people doing it with the smartpots...next year im going to use 200,600 gallons of soil hehe
I'm really content just using 100gallons... just trying 1 200gallon just to see if I want to step it up to those in 2012.. it's all a learning experience with each run.. we can only plan and do our best, right? I'm expecting to get minimum 4lb ea next year, shouldn't be hard at all.. in the late Sept. rains, I had some pretty big branches break and stuff get kindof tangled up, so it was a big pain in the ass to get it all straightened and staked up the best I could. Still turned out great, I was really only expecting about 2lb ea, but was blown away after the first one was all said and done, which happened to be the smallest in size, but had the most dense bud structure. Anyway, I know now that it really does take a years planning ahead of time. I am doing most in a 24' x 60' 'homemade' greenhouse/hoophouse. I'm running majority sour and mr nice, and will plan to have them about the same size. It'll be a little tight, but will have 3 rows across, 8 snugged together in rows, then, the single 200gal will be just outside of it. Here's a pic of the progress on the hoophouse. since that pic, the side hips and endwalls are finished. it'll be nice 2011, expecting 3 runs out of it; seedrun jan-mid feb lowryder2, mr nice mid feb-mid may, then replant late may for natural summer/fall run. then get a little break
