All my questions were answered but one, which someone also asked. Maybe I missed the answer, but how do you have a 300 amp house? I thought a max for homes was 200, then again a 7,000 to 10,000 square foot house should be able to have a lot more than 200 amps. I am just getting into residential wiring, a little lesson here and there. As far as I knew, a 100 amps was a minimal requirement for a loan and 200 amps was max for the power company (around here from what I read).
Its not all about light count, when im designing things at this scale, 1/2 the planing is for efficiency and ease of operation! Shit is no good if theres no room to turn around, or you gotta crawl to flip a switch somewhere
Shit is complicated enough up here where its 65f all the time, it still blows my mind people are doing this in SiCal! Kudos
Holy flip-flops flippin' . Friggin' sweet set-up man. Your living my dream-seriously I hate you. But not really jk. I wish I had a 200 amp panel for my grow. With that I would have enough lights to keep me busy all day and night. I love my bitches that much.
I think i need to invest in a 400 amp service panel. at all the grows i have setup we keep tripping the 200amp... seems the most we can run in a residential build is right around 30kw on 200amp... each house is averaging 24kw in flower and 3kw veg plus a 600 for clones so roughly 30kw with ac, blowers, dehumidifier.
I was looking at the size of your rooms and the amount of lights in them my only advise would be to have each light cover a 25sqft section of the floor this allows for maximum coverage... seems to me like you got to many lights stuffed to close together. drop from 12 down to 8 in those flower rooms and setup another flower room with the extra 8k... bet you would increase your yield by 33%.
either way man nice build. good luck with your grow!!
50 watts per sq ft minimum is what`s needed for quality hardened up and resin pumped nuggage in Medville due to so much competition for top shelf prices......
Sure....You can grow dope with less and yield decently like I did for well over a decade runnin 34 watts per sq ft , but once Heath and Krusty both finally beat it into my stubborn ass head , I went with it.......and guess what....
Living in exile with no genetics other than what I`d developed from my outdoor escapades many yrs before , my candidate I went with indoors was a mex/skunk hybrid that pumped out 2 1/2 lb plants consistently , and in all my evers I NEVER thought that it could get any better.......till I upped my watts per sq ft....and then....
Yield didn`t increase per se , but quality of final product increased exponentially , as in more resin production/trichome formation and sheer density of the same nuggage I`d been happy with inside for a decade and outside for another 12 yrs before that.......that said......
Trust me.....Less wattage works , but consistent results come from dialed environment , proper watts per sq ft , and above all......dialing each strain yas run.....anyways....
Flippin perpetual a month or so apart in age gives more crops per yr once the ball`s rollin , but in medville with trimming crews and such other creature comforts us criminals in non med states don`t have access to , I`d say WT215`s on the fast track to growth and prosperity as long as he keeps shit simple......regardless.....
Waitin on the bare bulb setup down in Vert-ville , so handle it and make an old man proud....so....
Third Coast- i think that shopvacs can be a harbor for pathogens... mold, PM, fungus, maybe even pests... that's why i always clean mine with Physan 20 after vaccing lots of leaves or other organic matter up.
