30kw residential buildout

I get plastic soft drink pallet type things from gas stations.

heres an example of what I was talking about, I use em to keep smarties up off the basement floor. throw the right gas station attendant or grocer a nice bud and you should be golden.

I think openin the plants up and spreadin em out for the last 2-3 weeks final push for swellage is an excellent idea Bro.......as long as.....

Lumen concentration/penetration/plant absorption`s not compromised......and....The pallets I got way back when were different than those like Otis`s pic is cuz it looks like those hold like 3 ltr bottles , and mine were not near as tall , but flat on both sides and just held cases of drinks , but regardless...

Whatever yas can get on the cheap works right ?..... anyways....RespectGreen......Sorry for the neg rep from folks that have no clue.....

Public weedsites attract fucktard newbie know-it-alls on the reg , as well as the holier than thou , look down their nose at folks they feel are beneath them regular members , so as my old Bro Mister D swears by.....the more members , the more fucktards......

Most if not all haven`t got the balls to bully folks in the real world for fear of getting that ass beat or worse , and that`s why they hide behind "not helpful" ratings like a lil bitch , so don`t take it too personal...trust me...

The longer you`re here the more neg rep you`ll receive at some point in the game.....Neg rep resides on the left side of the page , but as said above MOST if not ALL have the balls to send it to you and allow yas to know who their lil bitch self is....anyways....

I for 1 wish the "helpful" rating was the only rating with the "not helpful" disabled like at other places , cuz if yas got somethin negative to say to someone , have the balls to do it in open forum or at LEAST with member`s rep on the left side of the page to identify your neg reppin snake in the grass ass....My 2 cents...

Peace.....DHF.....:ying:.....

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to DHF again.

I can't leave you a message so I just want to say... I agree 100%

"not helpful" should be disabled like at other places and if you don't agree you should have to confront them in open forum or with rep messages under avi like you said DHF...

Noticing WAY TOO MANY little girls around here lately spamming the "not helpful" button... fuck it...

Eventually people will get the idea...

Whatthe215 - I agree with freds, spread them bitches and reap the rewards

Also agree the neg rep button should be removed. If you don't have the balls to tell me why you disagree with what I wrote, or at least make an argument for why i'm wrong, then why should I care that you have an opinion :moon:?

Prime example`s in the big plant thread......A certain member posts I`m the only 1 on this forum to follow his replies around and leave "not helpful" ratings.....and....

When I tell in open forum (cuz I`m not afraid to) I`ve never clicked a not helpful rating EVER , I`m the 1 that receives the neg rep , although this member's history of pissin folks off is constant and ongoing......regardless.......I give 2 fucks.....

I`m hereta help and not look down on folks....All else here with knowledge and experience should follow suit....Life`s too short to deal with bullshit......especially online.....

Wish EVERYONE would just Veg Out and chill...

Peace....DHF.....:ying:......

Look up Trex or Hardiplank, its the plastic 2x4" material that you make lifetime Patios/decks with. Can make waterproof floor stands or whatever you like.

Lets see some closeups of the "Kryptonite" I wanna see if that is what i think it is....

How come your plants are so far apart? Skoosh them closer and turn off a couple lights!!

Have several of those same burners man. Great product that has never let me down.

As far as the 7lb run it was obviously very strain dependent. Runs like that don't happen without a good yielder.

That being said I am 100% confident I could pull at least 7.5 to 8 because there were several things that I improved after that run.

Really though man all growing is is hard work and observation. You know it just as well as I do brother. Work your ass off and listen to the plants and things will rock.

Keep the updates comin man. Loving the thread.

So I'm coming back here 1) to congratulate you on such a beautiful residential buildout and 2) to ask a pile of questions about your setup.

You just mentioned that you weren't using your window a/c's as much because of compressor current spikes and inconsistent temps - any other reasons? Wouldn't they work as an active dehumidifier reducing your requirements for that 110 liters per day from other units? That begs another question, what do you do with all of the water you pull from the air? recycle it through that RO?

Do you think your humidity is coming from watering practices or just plant density?

What's drawing air from your two flower rooms into the "lung" room? is 1x 14" maxfan being used for filtration and 1x for negative pressure? Just trying to visualize your system running. I would guess if you have a 5ton situated in your actic zoned and dropping air into various rooms that you'd need to close the loop and have it circulate back into the lung room.

that said, how many cfm are you pulling out of the flower rooms into the lung?

Also, is your 5ton a heat pump or compressor/coolant based system?

I've got a ton more to ask but I'll let you respond before I keep going. Again, thanks for being so open with this setup. I'm learning a lot about production scaling a system.

Makes alot more sense now, I must have missed the "return" part of the 5ton discussion. You could always thermostatically control those window units to trip on at something like 85F as a safeguard. Are you using anything other than simple thermostats to control your hvac?

I definitely respect the KISS principle being an engineer. Sometimes though i'd really like to fully automate my next system - checking on it every few days. Manually watering is prohibiting vacations!

So more questions about setup:

what kinds of dehumidifiers are you using? Really just interested in their ratings not brand etc. Do they run continuously or do they trip on at a certain RH? timer? just trying to gauge complexity of equipment.

Have you been able to monitor CO2 ppm since installing the burners? I am wondering whether or not that 600cfm being exhausted is negating the benefits of the supplemental CO2. I know the need for negative pressure in the room but how much CO2 is being generated (in cfm)? I'm not very familiar with burners, always just used big bottles from welding supply stores.

I assume those 14" maxfans are on all day as well? have you had a chance to hang out in the attic? is there any odor leaking out from the unit up there?

I may move these constant questions to PM's so I dont take over the thread.

:edit:

is the 5ton a split unit or all housed up in the attic? also, are you using the manufacturers zoning setup or an aftermarket one?
