3 weeks in with Aptus shits blowing up around here..

Yes I will have to mix aptus for each and every system and feed them. Yes a huge pain in the ass.


I started I used up the last of the newtz I was using and started aptus on my current systems that still have soil in them starting last week and it wasnt so bad. Once week is actually better then what I was doing.

And on the base only days and the tea days its easy.

Going to do.

Vegetative

Mon. Aptus
Tues. Wends. Thurs. Base Only
Fri. Tea and SeaGreen
Sat. Sun. Base Only

Flower

Mon. Aptus
Tue. Wends. Thurs. Base Only
Fri. Tea and SeaGreen
Sat. Sun. Base Only.

Foliar Feed Vegetative

Wends. Flora Three Part at 350 ppm

Fri. 1/4 strength tea


Foliar Flower

Wends First 3 weeks Canna Boost

Fri. 1/4 strength tea

As far as the 5 gallon pots I have from doing soil. If you think I can get away with less I will only fill them with 3 gallons or so. That's definitely cool makes sense its more like hydro. I used to grow full sized plants in 6's of rockwool.

Yes I will veg. And top them in veg. Then move to flower room and train them through trellis first couple weeks of flower.

I would love to roll around tables and veg. in each system and roll them into flower but I just can't do it. Don't have the room to move them all around. I would have to make a room for each system there isn't any way.

One more thing jack kinda different from your thread. i am a hydro guy learning coco and dirt out of neccesity. Learning it is a lit different ball game in the way you feed for sure, liking coco better than dirt so far. anyways i have to transplant and flip the same day and was wondering if you or anyone on here had any advice to this as far as watering schedule the first couple weeks untill i can feed til run off without drowning them. i have been veggin in dixie cups or like .5 gallons for 3 weeks than going to 1 gallon, maybe i could go to as much as 2 gallons than veg another 4 weeks than transplant and flip in same day into 7, 10s or 15's. trying to find the sweet spot for my particular situation. doing 5 a light in 4 x 8 trays. thinking of trying a bed like you but dont know if that would really work for 5 a light and not being able to veg and flip in them. i have an 84 light setup that i dont have the plant count to do any more. suggestions or advice would be great! thanks

I would try different sizes and find what works best for your strains the beds are designed to have the plants vegged in them the first two weeks are very important for root growth , So you will have to make adjustments for the way you are growing, I have killed it with smart pots and Aptus so you should do really good..

I always water less in veg then flower this allows the roots to go searching I have grown some huge plants first we started in 1 gallon smart pots then we put those in 3 we also started the cuttings in 2 and went to 5 gallon rite before flower both ways we had really good results..

Hey jack I was wondering do you remove any of the big fan leaves in veg or first couple weeks of flowering, so it will bring in light to the branches that are getting blocked by the fan leaves.

hey jack I noticed on page 50 you show your cloning room. I was wondering do you ever have problems not using domes on your clones. Every time I don't use domes my clones wilt. Have you ever had problems with that. how do you avoid that I would rather not use domes for my clones. Thanks

* if the roots r coming out of the fabric will it be a problem ? so maybe should use only regular plastic pots ?

Going to do the same strain one in 2 gallon smart pots with rock wool crutons feed 3- 5 times a day base nutes Heavy 16 plus cal mag and Dutch master zone only. The same strain will be feed 2-3 times a day in a chow mix COCO/Hydroton feed Heavy 16 with Aptus and OG BIO WAR Tea. I will more then likely do the White easy to grow can take a heavy dose of nutes and finishes fast.It will be 25 per 1 k 14 day veg both will be feed drain to waist..Plants get put in tomorrow morning..

Ya bro there going to be mini monsters.. Something crazy happens when the co2 is dialed the room is dialed and the nutes are dialed I use to never be abel to get my nugs to do this so early until Aptus and Capulator tea plus I stopped cranking up my CO2 never go higher then 1100 your plants will love you.. I can turn my co2 up to 1500 and the plants just slow way dowm overnight turn it down to 1000 and they just explode its crazy I have done it over and over and the results are mind blowing...I want to do a time lapse camera...

so can you explain a little more? you run your co2 at night too? and in veg also correct?

I always lab test everything when its done,I will give Aptus a try in Rock wool but first I want to just use base and cal mag then compare yield and taste potency etc...

Its all there no co2 at night plants dont use it. 1000 to 1200 ppm is the sweet spot. JACK

Turned out really good .. But for the beds Cana Coco A +B and Heavy 16, Im going to do some more runs with Flora Nova and get it dialed..
