Hey jack where can I smoke those buds ?
Like Norcal said these temps are for CO2 But plants do way better with higher Humidity and temps in veg and first 3 weeks flower you have to keep the night humidity in check when lights are out nothing a large de humidafier wont handel we run 1 De Humidifier every 20 k room, We burn sulfer in mom rooms and in veg for 20 minutes a day to prevent mold. we rarely have any issues with Pm.
One of the biggest problems out there is growers going from grow to grow spreading bugs and diseas, Once you get spider Mites they are there to stay it's just a matter of managing them and keeping them at bay.The number 1 spreader of PM is a shop vac its like fogging your room with PM I stay far away from them...JACK
Yes on the Heavy 16 but Cana was pretty close it all comes down to having it all enviorment, genetics, temps, then Nutrien.. And yes on Aptus 1 time a week.Best results so far are from the Heavy 16 + Cap Teas + Aptus Boosters? About to flip a coco room, try to decide which nutes to run. How did you like the Sensi A+B + Aptus?
You still only hitting the aptus once a week?
respect.
turbo
No I have not.. Way to many nutriens to try to keep up it has to be something different for me to give it a second look.. Thanks BRO..Sheeit Jack's done hittin home run's he's moved onto Grand Slams!! Jack, have you ever heard of or used Mills Nutrients?
Depends on what week your in veg or flower Dutch Master Zone as a foliar spray for PM works great..Hey Jack! Just wondering what you use if you ever do get an outbreak of PM and the sulphur burner is not containing it.
Love the rooms and thanks for all of the great info. It's priceless.
Awesome, great info Jack. What size smart pot would you recommend then since I need to grow larger plants? 3 gallon? 5 gallon? 20 gallon?
Would you just go straight from rockwool cube/clone straight into final size smart pot that way there isn't any transfering from pot to pot?
Using the individual smart pots, how would you go about re using the coco? Pull plants out, pull as many roots out as possible with 3 pronged fork and top up pot with new coco and then hit with cannazym?? Or dump out all coco out of every pot into big bin and then refill pots for next round and add cannazym then?
Using this "chow mix" would you feed once a day or twice?
Hey Jack, thought I'd repost these questions. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks and take care!!
5 gallon will work goor for what your doing just dont go straight to 5 veg them in 1 or 3 gallons. And ya you will have way to many roots to reuse coco. But you can give it a try never know..Thanks Jack. Been doing some more thinking on what would be optimal for my situation and also for my license and I'm thinking I could do 9 plants per light, 3 lights. Each light right now is covering a 5x5 area. That allows me 27 plants in flower and 27 in veg.
Would you go 3 gallon pots or 5 gallon? I'm guessing bigger is better for bigger root mass?
Also for a 5 gallon pot, would you setup the same "umbrella" style dripper you use in your beds or something different?
And say I vegged in 1 gallon pots with the chow mix, how often would I be watering in veg? once every 2 days?
I'm thinking of a doing a small trial run first, kinda a side by side to my soil grow. Maybe do 3 plants in coco hand watered to see if I'm even capable of a full on coco run Then if they do well do a full on coco conversion with watering system......
Why do you say anything under 20 gallon pot not worth reusing coco? Cause there wouldn't be much coco left after pulling the roots out? Or another reason?
Thanks for your time, please keep the knowledge flowing this way
Very nice work.Am bugging my shop guy to bring in Aptus .How can i argue the results are stunning
I brew the same teas in soil as I do coco but this will be my last run in soil I was holding on to a couple of soil rooms but they cannot touch the coco rooms so im making the switch..JACKHey there jack thought I had my shit together until I read this thread. I'm switching to coco next round, I brew all sorts of nice breverages for my gals currently. I am wondering if I can still incorporate my traditional teas in a coco grow. I'm gonna try half aptus and half H&G in a control. Thanks bro
Some one asked me about Moab it does not compare to Aptus not even close if thats all I had sure I might give them a light dose but there are much better options out there..Sea Green with base nutes alone will give you better results. As far as watering we do it when lights come on and a couple hours before they go off each time 30 seconds.. JACKNice thread, gotta read it a few times to soak it in. Couple questions.
1 - how do you use MOAB and Hammerhead together when you're using them?
and
2 - Watering, I read you like to water generally twice a day for 30 secs or 1 min... at what times do you water, lights on and ?
Thanks for all the info, us quiet readers are soaking it up and grateful.
Peace
Dutch Master zone. I just answered the same question you asked it a page back..Thanks for the quick reply Jack. What would you use for PM in flower? Have you used PM Wash? I heard Mighty Wash works good for PM too.
since you have so little plants I would hand water you will spend more time and it will help you learn your plants, And always water less in veg then in flower there is no perfect answer it depends on how big the plants are and how much roots the pots have every other day in veg should be good but it just depends on pot size.. Things like that you have to figure out and dial in... This thread gives 95% of the info you need the other 5% is up to the grower to figuer out on there own every plant is different, Every room is different, Your not running the same watts as me so its always just depends on the room, Your looking for every little detail I can only give you what works for me and my rooms. If you dont run the temps I do then you will feed less if you run my feed scheulde and your not running high temps and co2 your not going to get the same results. I would read this thread over and over then go out and dial my room in....I have a close friend that has been growing alot longer then me for the first time he finally listened and can not believe the results it took me telling him over and over but it took him figuering out what works for his rooms.. Good luck with your grow JACK...Thanks for the reply Jack
For a 5 gallon pot, what would you use for a dripper system? Been reading a bunch on line, but opinions are like assholes and everyones got one Seems everyone thinks they have the best dripper system but none of them getting results like you.
Also using the chow mix like you told me to do, say I veg in a 1 gallon pot. How often would I be feeding? Still twice a day like in flower? Or less to try and get roots searching for water??
We had really good results with the CANA Coco A+B as base we hit rite around the same #'s as we did with the Heavy 16 a little under but not by much.. The nice thing about CANA is same base nutes with veg as flower makes replanting the rooms and flushing real easy ...Cana coco as base , Aptus once a week, Caps tea once a week,Once a week sea green with base the rest of the days base nutes week 1-3 ec of 0.8 and week 4 -6 ec of 1.0 to 1.3. You can thank me later thats the golden ticket..JACK
