3 weeks in with Aptus shits blowing up around here..

Jackmayoffer, I was curious if you still had pictures you had at the bay. The Wifi #3, the under current ones? I really liked those pictures. Think some meds were in plastic bag and the bag appeal was crazy. Also is your current method better than the under current?

ya its $600 for everything in the small size, and $1800 for everything in the larger bottles.

If they throw in two virgin flight attendants i'll think about it...

@Jackmayoffer: Very impressive man, the stems and roots look more like they belong on an outdoor-monsterplant.

I see a lot of you guys talking about brewing compost teas, but the reality is, what you want in your soil is fungi and fungi grow in long filaments that get chopped up/killed by water pumps. Best way to get the goodies in your soil is to brew with air (something that isn't mechanical) for only a couple hours and then apply watering by hand. If you want foliar sprays of bacteria dominate teas, you should do the traditional method and long brew it.

All of this was taught to me by a microbiologist and mycologist who works for a compost tea company that is very large.

Edit: Forgot to mention if you are trying to keep pathogens out of your root zone or canopy then Actinovate is what you want. In soil it will disrupt your beneficials (assuming you use anything organic).
kills:
• Pythium
• Phytophthora
• Rhizoctonia
• Verticillium
• Fusarium
• Late Blight
• Powdery Mildew
• Downy Mildew
• Grey Mold (Botrytis)
• Fire Blight (Erwinia)
• Leaf Spots and Rusts
• Black Spot (Diplocarpon rosae)

Jack,

Any other info about your foilar spray? I'm assuming you go with DM Penetrator as wetting agent, but do you only use the one ingredient (I think it was sensi)? Also, do you try to coordinate the timing with a particular day of feed (i.e. the base only days etc.) or do you just do Mondays for four weeks? Any other specific tips you've learned over the years for the foilar, like temps, time of day etc.? I know that just before or around lights on is the best time, as well as ~74 degrees as stomata begin to open at 73. Just curious if there's any other magic in your method.

I'm going to try your tea brew, thanks for the recipe. Do you give the tea thru the end of flower? I have a smaller room at week 5 I want to test it on, you think it's a good idea or better to wait till next round?

Thx!

I've been talking with the 2 reps almost daily and I told them that I would be doing the twice a week application like Jack.

They told me it was a great idea.

I just got this shit for free. I was thinking about trying it out but it doesn't really tell me what's in

When we water with tea we water by hand takes a little extra time but its well worth it...
sorry if its already been mentioned, but do you use the Aptus Nutrispray foliar as well?
Not yet when I ordered Aptus it was not out yet I am using Canna Boost and Foliar feeding with the tea we brew weekly..
I thought he was just using the bloomboosters + fasilitor?

We always spray lights out or rite before lights go out... :) Tea is given from the start until the end, I would start at the begining then you can compare this run against your new one with the tea or Aptus added.. Hope this helps.. Oh and yes on wetting agent.
I'm in!

Getting a L of each plus a extra L of Peakboost and Massboost.

I'll be using Benefox as my tea. http://www.dominionorganics.com/html/products.html

Mon - Base w Aptus.
Tuesday - Base.
Wed - Base.
Thur - Base w Aptus.
Fri - Base.
Sat - Tea.
Sun - Base.

I'll be using CNS-17 as a base.

Hope to have the Aptus by next Friday.

I was thinking about trying this out in my soil tent, do you use this every feeding?

Jack, if you were not using Aptus....what other nutrients would you use? For poor folks like me :)
I would have some samples sent to me and then have the biggest harvest of my life then go to Vegas and double my money then blow all the money at the strip club drunk as fuck..But thats just me...:dance013::biggrin:... I have had good results with Heavy 16 plus Moab Hammerhead.. but definitely start brewing tea Capulator tea is only $80.00 for a kilo that will make a shit load of tea...And you can buy small sizes for alot less...:tiphat:
