2nd week of flowering

thanks for the good info. i will have to try this with my next grow. do the pre flowers look just like the normal female or male flowers. i never noticed them before when i was vegging only on a male that was toped and put out a male flower, i thought this happened from the stress of the toping, i later threw that one out. maybe i just wasnt paying enough attention to see it. like i said before i got allot of learning to do, and this is really helping me out. i pulled two more bananas off of her today, dont think the opened up though.

Get a good magnifying glass and start checking the vegging plants at a month or so,the preflowers normally form between the main stalk and the various branches.Female preflowers are more elongated or teardrop shaped and will emit a pistil.Male preflowers are rounder with a rougher texture and often appear like a ball on a stick.Maybe some good person could post pics preflowers I really dont know where to look

will do next time i start new grow. got a different question for you. would you leave all the leaves on the plant, should i cut some of them off to let more light to the buds or should i leave them alone. the leaves make the food for the plant through photosynthesis, as i'm sure you know, would this make less food for it if a good amount of bigger leaves are cut off, or will the buds them selves make plenty of food for the plant.
