250w HPS users....

Ok here is the good stuff. I harvested 10.5 ounces of seriously wicked looking, dense, very firm, crystal laden nugs. Then I got 2.5 ounces of fluffier buds but they are totally smokable and could easily be sold. Then there was 1.5 ounces of popcorn bud and an ounce of sugar leaf trim. The popcorn and trim go to hash and do not count in my total. I am reporting a harvest of 13 ounces (364 grams). If I counted the popcorn I would be at 402 grams.



I originally trimmed it up but left the budlets on the sticks like you would find in most ounces on the streets. In the pics there are 11 one quart mason jars that had an ounce each of buds on sticks. The gallon jar when full held 6 ounces. The first tray pic has 1/2 of the gallon jar on it. That is when I decided to take most of the budlest off the sticks even if it brought it under a pound.

The last pic of buds lined up on the tray in the next post is part of the gallon jar with the final trim. That is how I did it all.

Well, I ended up on the low end of my expected range right @ 119 g of nice buds and enough trim and popcorn for about 6-7g of ISO oil. A decent result considering I grew 6 different, unknown plants from seed and it was my first grow in about 4 years. But I got MEGA room for improvement. I kinda feel like a rookie with deja vu.

Hanging in the dry box, now that I know that this thing will hold about double what I put in it, it's time to figure out how to pull 8 zips outta my set-up:

Vegged for about out a month and a half, but I use a pretty low light veg cab, just 3x 15 watt CFLs (otherwise I'd be throwing out cuts weekly )

Most of the credit in that grow has to go to the genetics I was using, some of it has shown up in the cross I made with a Schnazzleberry male:


This one is the one that resembles the mom the most.

hi folks!

i've been doing some micogrows in the past, 250w to me is a LOT! my space is 60x60x195 cm. growing in coco using canna a+b, nothing else. no problems this far...

i got one strawberry kush, vegged 4 weeks, one pure power plant from nirvana, vegged 4 weeks, 3 ppp clones, straight to 12/12. also one ppp in soil, vegged 2.5 weeks. it's genes are not very good. small buds, but a looker though!

i only have pics of my sk. got a growlog in th coco section. these are from day 30 of 12/12 i think. biggest cola is 20+cm .

thinking about trying a vertical grow after this. must be the most efficiet way to use your 250w. any opinions?
