Nice grow dude, I'd be interested in what you pulled after you've dried it.

Regarding the light, what was the problem? Temps? If so try a cooltube or glass shield, works wonders, and make sure ther CFM of your main fan is enough to move the air in your box at least 2 or 3 times per minute, after allowing for a fair bit of resistance from the scrubber, elbows, etc, and make sure your inlets are about twice the size as your outlets. Also, if you run a glass shield I recommend you push growbox air in so you avoid having air leak in from the grow and not go through the filter. That's one minor design fault of mine which I may look at fixing, depending if I have odor problems.

Yeah, I will be interested in weight too once I find my scale! heh.

Nah, I had a homebuilt reflector (w/aircooling) that I shaped out of a batwing reflector + some sheet metal. It has a glass cover. My first grow and a full log of me asking tons of questions is here: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=77394&page=1&pp=40

I guess the issue with the light was that the Lemon Stinky streched a lot even after the screen, so I had to keep moving the light up. This was still with the glass pretty much touching the Lemon Stinky colas, but the temps were fine. Anyway, as the Lemon Stinky kept streching past the screen, the Master Kush stayed a bit shorter, so it was about twice as far away from the light, maybe 6+" away from the glass at the top of the master kush side of things.

But then again, the master kush had significantly more branches/area of the screen, so maybe it spent its energy dedicated to building more, smaller budsites rather than the Lemon Stinky which only had a dozen or so branches up out of the screen. I dunno, maybe I'll figure it out sometime later, but it was a fun first grow.

Cheers, I'll check out your thread.

Sounds like you had a similar problem I am facing, I got grapefruit and skush on the grow, 2 plants each. The shop owner who sold me the beans told me grapefruit was an indoor plant, lol, but actually it's pretty stretchy. I dunno if I avoided the problem or not yet, but I flipped to 12:12 early, two weeks back. We'll see.

Willy Jack,

take a look at those new CMH bulbs first, they are seemingly getting more and more popular. I'm not sure but I think I read they run on most regular HPS ballasts, but not digital ones. You might wanna check that though. They have a totally kick-ass spectrum.

Everyone has some really nice grows here. I'm happy I found this thread. I used to veg. with a 250w. Now I have a C-13 with a 250w right now it's veggin. Eventually I will be flowering only in it and have a seperate veg cabinet so I can set a perpetual hervest. Personal use. Here are some cab shots...

whodi - I have a 5 degree spilt between ambient air and the temperature inside the box. So if I keep ambient temps at around 70F, I'm golden. I have a window unit in the room, but I don't use it often. Also, my ballast is attached and inside the hood, so that adds more heat. If you get a simple bat wing with a remote ballasts, they are MUCH cooler. I should mention that I have a Elicent inline fan that works REAL good.

I just got 2 confinmed females! One Dutchpassion Orange Bud and one Dutchpassion MasterKush.

Thanks for the info! Can anyone else post info like this? I'm especially interested in what people are pulling gram/watt. And the growing style you use to achieve it. Thanks much in advance!

I pulled about 150 g's using LST and 11l soilpots with 5 TFD's "The Pure". Avarageing around 28-30 g's per plant.
I used 250W

Here is my vertical 250W grow box. It's my fourth grow in this box. Measurements are 60 x 60 x 80cm and it's really compact packet.

Working like a charm but need more optimizations. Last harvest was 0.5gpw and it gets better everytime.

hi all. Im thinking of getting a 250, if so it will be housed in a sealed top compartment with glass. Im planning on using 80mm pc fans (intake and exhaust). Im just wonderin if these would b ok for cooling the light and what kind of cfm rating i should be looking for?

Do yourself a favour and get a quiet 120mm instead.
80mm fans have to spin alot faster, to move the same air as a 120mm.

I'm cooling a 250W with a 110cfm 120mm Silverstone PC fan.
