So since your running it that means you believe it adds something to the end product...uv that is??
Watched the video...great info thanks! HLG also makes uva supplement bars....
Sorry the links I sent were both by light companies lol. There are independent study's showing uva works as well as uvb...although the amount of uvb required to get results is far less than uva, it seems uva gets the job done without the damage. Here's one UV
Do you use uvb throughout the grow or just at end of flower?
What I'm getting out of hearing most light manufacturers say is that to add the uv to an existing model light is not worth the trade offs they have to make to get it. So supplementing seems the only good option imho.
Do what you think is right! You just have to trust your own experience and keep going.

Thanx for the reply.
Do I believe uvb adds something to the end product, I sincerely hope it does. But I would say, that the only way to quantify that would be to run a side by side experiment ( ourselves, and not by some led manufacturer) ; unfortunately alot of us home growers don't do that because of time and space limitations. So we have to rely on research and what we're told etc...
I use the, solarcure power flower fixtures ( double fixture). I start to use mine at around 3weeks before end of flower run time. And I start at 30 mins on per day, raising it ( strain dependent) to 60mins per day. They use very little wattage too, 32watts each fixture, so a total of 64watts.
So do I think it's worth using them?
Yes I do. But that's just my opinion.
I've also thankfully never suffered any pm problems throughout all my yrs of growing, so if you do have this problem, then the uvb also helps to eliminate all the spores too.
Best regards.
There was a member here who documented UVb experiments, long time gone now, and hard to find due to the 3 letter search term.

I couldn't find any 800w that cheap.. I did find Dommia LED Grow Light 650W 10 Bars for 220$ but has a limited deal tag.. That was the biggest bang for the $ I found. I don't need anymore for now.

Has anyone tested their light for real wattage??. I tested mine I'm getting 810 watts. @driver77 your 1st post in this thread lists them at 680w

I was thinking I might relocate it into the main flower room and swap out the HLG Diablo. The Diablo is 630w max. It has always caused my plants to yellow more than any other light. This light seems to perform better. Plants are healthy and do not yellow much. I wish I could measure its spectrum.

I have entertained the thought of buying a spectrometer to get a look at all my lights...record them so I could adjust some possibly...then return the spectrometer
I know what your talking about though, whatever spectrum these ended up being it's spot on. I have a samsung 301b light now to compare to and I'm not that impressed with samsung....not that it's bad, I guess with all the hype I was expecting too much. The spread is better and plants do well under it but I sure wish I would have hung onto the other 1 of these I bought.

Wasn't this supposed to have Samsung 301?
