LOL - don't admit to it :biglaugh:

I read the peat puck thread tonight and maybe I let it dry out too much trying to control the gnats, lol. Just gotta wait and see if it pulls through I guess.

I've actually made the biggest dent in the gnat numbers that I ever have, and that was from spraying EM! Well, I guess it could be the DE kicking in but it would be pretty good timing to match up with the EM application after so long of using DE. I've seen others post about the EM so I know I'm not nuts :hide: I used 1ml/litre and roughly sprayed the pots/surface and air holes - didn't pay any attention to cover the sides of the pots at the back. I did that twice.

Got some pics but they didn't turn out so great. I'll get a few up tomorrow I promise. Sorry b00m. Also Cheese, you gotta make butter! I can't believe you haven't made any. Really easy and it comes out great. There's a pinned recipe in the cooking forum. :)

really the EM? shit, maybe that is what worked for me too! I thought it was the DE, but I also have been using EM. How did you apply? at what concentration? and are you sure you didn't pickle a plant?

Well, I used (spray bottle) 1ml per litre of the AEM I made (1:1000) although the first spray was actually 5ml of the mother culture per litre of water (1:200), which I think is pretty strong but I'm a newb so it's okay. :biglaugh: I sprayed the 1:200 mix over everything in my house. Probably should have read up a bit more. The seedling was screwed before that though. Would that be too strong you think? Anyways, that's what I used! I'm going to apply another spray soon at 1:1000. Don't get too excited as it hasn't knocked them right out but it's done something.

1:200 is a bit strong, yeah. You don't want to ferment your soil. Although perhaps with coco it's too inert? I use 1:250 on my worm bin. For plants and soil with growing plants in it, 1:1000.

Big ups y'all. I think it will live!

We may as well get this out of the way early; it is NOT over watered! The coco is damp because I just watered it. With h2o2. The leaves at the top seem to be coming good. I think any symptoms of over watering would be because of damaged roots.

I managed to get my favourite plant out and it's not all that big of a plant, but it has the biggest best buds.

On the bright side, there is not much flushin' to do

Thanks BC, you should have seen the seedling when it looked sick, lol! This is actually improving. :) I might start another one or two PKs if it doesn't come back to full speed. BTW from what I could see of the trichs on the big girls, they still have a while so everything is right on schedule. They get a heavy watering of rain water every 2 days.

She'll do more than live! She will create huge elephant ear size leaves and the best bud in the world :dance013: My dream is she does so well down under that she takes over like the frogs Bart Simpson smuggled in :hide:

Here is her cousin from an 8gal rdwc.

370grams from that plant, they like'em big down under no?

Peace, :joint:

Sweet as, dude. Well I put 2 more in because I'm doubtful of this one. Talk about a tough life. :whistling: It dried out now. Just can't get my shit together!

I'll start harvesting some plants the next 3 to 5 days I'd say. Two different plants:

^ some of those trichs are damaged from sliding the tray in and out. I should fix that damn board one day. It's a big flaw, but the only way to truly overcome it is to build an elevator stand to jack the plant up/down, because the buds would still foul with the bulbs anyway. Peace.

looking nice Scrub, all frosty n shit. sorry bout your seed troubles, at least you didn't pay 800$ for em like those rez beans that are up on SB hehehe.

I keep reading about upcoming changes to AU laws or something about selling hydro equipment or something..does that affect where yer at? or is that a different part of oz?

Haha I heard something about those seeds - thought the price was a joke! I guess not.

No, where they're doing that is down south where most of Oz's hydroponics has traditionally been grown in the past. You'll have to show several forms of ID to purchase from a hydro store. EFF THAT! A lot of people here are hanging out for Oz to copy the US' medicinal scheme. We copy everything the US does and usually it pisses me off, but with MMJ, I'm cool about it, lol.

Definitely! Well, just so you know, the first PK is pretty much dead. I mean, I still have it in there just in case, but I'd be surprised if it lives. The coco dried out so quick with the perlite below it  So now I keep them well wetted, with h2o2 added. The h2o2 should take care of any fungus gnats as well as overwatering if I did go too far wet.

Nothing can go wrong now.

Nothing.

Or can it? :chin:
