Aside from battling reproductive cancers , Why do minors need hormone blockers ?
Theres also a few things that can happen in the hipofisis and just general hormone imbalances. You be the one telling mother that her orangutang hairy girl just needs to get a wax instead of the correct medical treatment? I agree though, sex change hormones on childs demand only is not a good option. People are daft nowadays, and cannot find a middle ground.

You just quoted yourself but calling me stupid ? I’ve been a long time fan of your contributions. So disappointing to see you acting like this because we don’t agree on something
It is simply physiology (science/medical) I'm referencing. Having portions of both gender organs (e.g. testes or glands or ovaries or portions or glands; as I already stated). This is what intersex is. It is not a matter of opinion that we can disagree on; the same as we cannot or should not disagree on what a floral bract is. Intersex has nothing to do with the trendy gender reveal party dressup scenario. If this situation is not specifically looked for at birth (which normally it is not) via chromosome/DNA testing and CT scan and MRI it does physically go undetected until release of hormones around 12 to 15 (or younger in some). This is all I was stating and that through the misunderstanding even shown in this forum, these individuals can be unfairly caught up in draconian religious inspired laws and prejudice.

I apologize for calling you stupid. It is just this particular area which you expressed ignorance of.

Sex organs / glands , secrete sex hormones. My question still stands. If for some crazy reason, a male with testicles and a penis had partially developed or fully developed ovaries, why would you need hormone blockers if you simply removed the ovaries?

I’m not even sure how this would work since in the absence of a female reproductive system, ovaries alone wouldn’t be a primary source of estrogen. You say it’s science but you have yet to explain why hormone blockers would be needed

There are no humans with functioning ovaries and testes. No human with working testes or ovaries has had them swapped with opposite sex organs that produce gametes with their dna.

I was pretty certain it couldn’t be possible either but I’m playing devils advocate here to keep the conversation going. His scenario isn’t adding up and I want to see what he has to say.
It usually happens this way every time you try to have conversations about this topic. The people in favor seem to run out of facts and resort to name calling and rhetoric

you've gotta be really deluding yerself if yoiu think trump will make it easy fir ANY non- rich- people.

gas prices in my area are back to a semblance of normalcy.

and even if the gas prices go down (which will not be trump's fault) his economic "plan" is gonna skyrocket the cost of goods, that's a guarantee.

i really hope he can't do anything this presidency, but i know better... time to start growing my own food...

Liberal energy policy is why prices surged almost immediately after Biden took office.
Some of us were actually paying attention to those things because we felt the effects. I am starting to think I am arguing with a kid who probably didn’t even have a drivers license four years ago.

I was not specifically addressing this but it would be similar to the many children who get osteosarcoma. It generally presents in the growth plate area above or below the knee and in efforts to save the limb several anti-cancer pharmaceuticals are utilized locally and systemically to attempt to stop mestastasis and to kill the tumor. This must be implemented prior to surgery.

In the case of surgeries such as you are addressing, the pre-surgical protocol would obviously vary individual to individual but pharmaceuticals including hormone blockers and or hormone replacers (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, etc.) As in the case of osteosarcoma these drugs may or may not be employed prior to surgery. The other factor calling for drug administration may be the waiting list for surgery or financial short comings. Also, the individual may not want surgery. (embracing themselves as a two-spirit person, as expressed in the lore of North American indigenous peoples)

The first surgery to address this type of scenario was done in 1932 and has been done many times since please look it up

See, if I were rude like you were to me, I would tell you to go back and read. I said this already. No one is trying to block access to any medication to treat cancer.
With all due respect , you don’t even live in America do you ?
