@stonedbuddha You will be able to edit posts, have a bigger upload space (500 MB/1000 pictures), edit avatar after reaching 50 posts. I know that it's not ideal, some folks just post, without having to ad any info to the treads.
Also it is preferable to rotate your pictures before uploading.

The girls are absolutely loving the sunlight and soil. Lots of spiders and no bad bugs when I went to check! The two center girls in pots have been being heat stressed with the high temperatures and aren't looking the best. I've debated whether or not to hassle with them or not. What do you all think? Worth feeding them? They look a bit stunted and show yellowing, heat stress and maybe too much nitrogen.

Still at large...
Looking very nice stonedbudda:tiphat:

From west to east.... we all got our fingers crossed for a nice finish.
Good luck and karma.
Gonna take a seat and tag along see how they finish.

Well! Todays' been a beautiful day. I am blessed to be able to go in my back yard and relax my woes away in the garden. Life has been hitting me in so many negative ways recently it seems the only happiness I find is spending time with the girls. The future is rather unknown but I start my new job this week and I hope everything starts turning around. I tried to see if I had a large enough tarp to cover the girls but I do not, and cannot afford one till my first paycheck in two weeks. They might be well into starting flower by then (praying!).

Anyways.. As a newbie grower I find a lot of information and good vibrations reading the members grows' in this outdoor section. I always wanted to grow outdoors and reading everything from guerrilla grows to medical and everything in between is quite the beauty to see.

Let me know what you guys' think. Been feeding straight water for the past week.

Morning photo 8/11:

Afternoon photo:

Tighter top nodes and some white hairs, I don't notice calyxes up top yet. You guys' think they will start to flower soon?

Inside, both the moms show a lot of purple on the stems, but outdoors the sativa pheno is completely green, while the indica is showing beautiful purple colors on its' stems. I need to bring out the better camera, but my cell phone is so convenient!

western or eastern WA?

are they going to finish flowering before the rains return?

mold is an issue in western WA for me...just sayin'.

best of luck friend.

what if thus plants are northern lights, and have been feed kelp meal high in silica content, and are covered by a poly-sheeting tarp protecting them from the rain and slight morning dew. would mold or but rot be an issue? it appears we are in a drought in western WA this year. so rain could be quite scarce.

how does one deal with mold in your area in western Washington. inspiring minds wish to know?!......

Yeah i've never finished plants in our outdoor situation here.. But we are definitely in a drought, and the girls are LOVING the sun...

Stems are about the size of a lighter now, and roots are everywhere. I'm finding these beds soaking up water every 1-2 days depending on the heat.

My sativa ladies are getting tall! About six feet right now and I'm telling them they need to start flowering every morning. Everything looks great for growth, although the two pots in the center are showing lack of nitrogen in some lower leaves and some heat stress.

My privacy screen is at about seven feet. I'm a bit worried about how much these girls wanna stretch! The indica is also been stretching.

evening shot of the ladies. The sun is now laying more to the left of a large willow so the girls should be getting more intense afternoon sun during the last 2 hours than they have been for the past month.

im begging for a super hot september wit little humidity and little rain. as well as that till october. your plants look great if they show the yellow leaf green vein its prolly nitrogen and give them some epsom salts , only if your organic though. it will help them flush the nuts through the soil.

i have covered most the canopy of my outdoor lights grow but i gave yet to finish covering the entire canopy to guarantee no rain come that special time of year.
were are all getting close!
all my plants show little pre flowers a few of the other phenotypes have already decent size pre flowers and are startign to stink. it smells DANK!!! cant wait till the nugs come. !

Had 10 mph winds today and some rain. I feel like my plants are starting to throw more pistils up top and i see calyxes traveling their way north and such, Feeling like I am into my first few days of flowering or coming near it. Maybe my girls aren't fully there yet but I fed em about half power flowering nutrients in the form of humic acid teas.

These sativas are about six foot. I'm going to need to give them more support in the next coming weeks. Even with 10 mph winds I felt it was throwing my plants around a bit. Without tomato cages they would've been layed over. Crazy even with my trees and houses blocking.

1 of my plants that isnt caged is toppled! i blame u El Nino. at least all the rest in cages survived. im going to try staking her up later this evening, she looks great still. i think the 45th is on flower time now the days have been relatively shorter congrats they are gonna be dank! i think they are gonna strech over your plastic wall forsure. at least the 6 ft ones.

I definitely feel I have to extend my fabric wall up more. I get paid next week and was wanting to get some 12' bamboo stakes and really secure everything with some string and stakes with the cages.

What do you think is worse, a nosy neighbor being bugged I have a fabric wall 3 feet above their fence line, or 5 kolas peeking above LOL.. I think its' better I keep it from their view no matter how annoying it seems. I still have a 6' wide walking pathway between the garden and the fence with the tomatoes you see lined in the back ground and such.

Today's updates include some happiness and sadness.

Went out and watered, and found two of my bud formation areas were getting eaten the hell apart. Thought i saw what was a caterpillar and went to kill it and it moved really quick! I was like WHOA, then realized a little jumping spider had caught it from the bud and was eating it! So I had to get a photo. Beyond that, the garden looks great.

Hope y'all enjoy.
