the females i have of a5 haze x white og are pretty hazy with the exception of one which is more of a 50/50 type...ill get some pics of them.. all in all pretty happy... definite haze smells

I went and contacted my source to ask since when the Cut been at his house etc.

He said it been there since 1990/1991 , And its the only thing he has grown all these years, not one other cut whent in to his house, he also never had the other cuts( C5,
HpH, etc)


I have seen the other cuts Pop up here and there, AG13 the most, C5 a litle, i know the HpH cut is being shared in small circle's. (i want to grow that once again the HpH was my fav from them cuts)

i was always intrigued by C5 & A5, i wanted those cuts really badly when i first heard of them but they kept evading me... so i'm glad to see Karma working with them, i much prefer seeds over clones these days anyway (never again want to fight thrips/mites )

But i'm having doubts about using OG for the backcross too. I can see how it becomes easier to identify the haze leaning plants when outcrossing to an indica, but even though they might structurally resemble haze, they carry the indica genes in them and i fear it might water down the high... but i'll hope for the best and keep watching!

does anyone know whether the nl x haze in Jack herer is A5 or C5? I love the citrus/pine/cedar/incense aroma of the jack line... Karma how about using your proven Jack male on the A5?

btw Nevils Haze, isn't A5 supposed to be the mother of NH? So asuming Shanti is straightforward about his seeds, there still has to be one verified A5 around?

What about SSSDH? The chance of getting haze pheno's would be almost 100%. The citrus/pine/incense smells/tastes should be there in force. I had a pheno of ssh x sssdh that took 12 weeks and a day....and prolly could have went longer. Just trying to help with my 2 cents.

A few years back in Holland I was getting some c5 the grower told me it was c5 pioneer ?

Is this the c5 or a hybrid I was recieving as it was a real mind playing haze

I think the African Haze would be a good choice. That would be my choice if I had the cut or maybe Neville's Haze. The African Haze has a slight cat piss tip that would mix well with the A5. I wish I could make it out to the cup this year to talk more and to check it out, but it looks like i'm not going to be able to make it. Save some for me. LOL

I know that the guys who held these haze hybrids and daddy C were very reluctant to share them with anyone, specially the male C and the original Nevil Haze.
This was bc Nev asked em not to do this back in the day. But after nev started his own seed co and getting more established in the Dam he neglected his old friends down south a bit.
After a while they did start sharing some of these cuts with close friends and like minded folks, including myself to start growing some top notch haze bud. I did this for years until the gang fell apart, soon after i inherited what was left of the hybrids, C5, AG13, HPH and a few years ago i got the NH, still held by Bonk and keeping his word after many years to not share this cut with anyone. Nevil was on the MNS board a few years ago so i made contact with him. And when he and Bonk got connected again i finally got the original, first ever made Nevilles Haze elite cutting. These cuttings are so special bc they still cary the authentic genetics such as Northern Lights, G13, Hash Plant and off course the Haze daddy's A & C, not to mention they were picked out of many, many pheno types. They first selected each of the lines to the 5 best found pheno's out of 100's. From these 5 best selected pheno types they selected the 2 or 3 best ones. In the A5 case they narrowed the line to two pheno's, one very fuel aroma to it and one a bit more flowery. Eventually they got named as the diesel and mango pheno, this was early '90's, nevil himself wasnt around anymore. The diesel pheno is the stronger one and vanished before the mango pheno after the group fell apart due rows and police busts. The diesel and mango names were just labels to refer to, nothing to do with actual pedigree, these names were popular at the time so they got used to distinguish one pheno from the other. Nevil explaned to me that the diesel one was the Pheno he liked most and that the aroma was more dark leather, liver and the mango a bit more friendly flowery and spiced, peppery but both devastating in power, very psychedelic in high and very couch-lock for haze.

I'd agree that a pure male sativa like an african would make a killer cross to the A5... similar to an updated neville's haze. Damn, if I had these cuts I would want to breed it to any landrace type... Colombian, Thai, Mexican, Texan

Its not NL genes making it stoney . NL 5 is pretty much a hybrid buzz as well . Its an Afghan / Hawaiian .

From what the boys tell me A5 is stoney on its own . Add Hz C in the Nevil`s Hz and things get freaky .
Hz A is long gone . So if its the Same as it ever was He has an NL #5 /Haze A mother and a Hz C father kickin around .

Nevil Said at Mr Nice C5 was the mother of Jack Herer and also SSH .

stoked to see you and sam talking it out KG. i have 1 pheno of the a5/white og that expresses more haze qualities then the others. she's the one i kept to run again. for the most part, too much og for me. imo, i'd work with an african as the a5 has no african genes present and a african would bring an additional up type effect.

Well i think we should meet up personally and talk about joining forces instead of debating bout whats what.
Talk to your friend on my behalf if you would be so nice and ask him if he is willing to share his A5 cut with someone who held it for years initially. I get that he is against sharing it for pure commerce but im not a big commercial grower and i have some nice cuts to trade. I've got the vintage HpHz here so if your up for it im all game.

Bout the BX. Ive got the vintage NevHz here, as you know the A5 cutting was used as mom. Crossing a nice potent A5 dom dad with this cut will increase the A5 genes in the progeny. Best case would be a reversed A5 pure pollinating the old NHz or vice versa.
We could make a killer strain using these old gems.

Like i said before it Is verry frustrating for me to not be able to just give it to you, as you deserve it a lot more then me, with the love you got for it. I will keep trying to get it freed for you, but i dont think he will at the moment, I started this project as its the only way i got to get it in hands of people like you and E.T and JJ till i get permision to share it. Give me the benefit of the doubt, and please grow the results afther i did the BX. Also i will persenoly grow you a sample, and meet with you.

Still love to meet you in person at cup, but wont have anything to show for on this case.

Folks here that know me , know i am a sharing caring guy, but i also am man of word, and cant break my promis , which is a hard one for me to chew in this case.

that would be out of this world and i would want to buy a 1000 seeds for myself
(id love a cut back of that g13haze male if anyone still has her)

i am also working on a haze project in the new year of this very old cut i found in london that come directly from nevil, il bring it by to show you at the cup to see if you reconise or remember her
i believe it to be the C5 but am bringing it to all the haze heads in amsterdam to verify this cut
