Hey Bro , lookin good....I raise Black Angus , and rule of thumb on cattle is 1 per acre with ample feed and yr round water , so you startin out with 10-12 on 25 acres and a good young bull sounds perfect to let em drop calves and rotate out stock as needed for cowpasture room as the yrs go by.....

Yardbirds need a lil attention , so make sure there`s someone to gather eggs and keep their nasty ass in check if it`s just layin hens....

Mine run around and shit everywhere , but it makes the grass grow lol....Hell...the cows shit everywhere and grow the grass too.....anyways.....

Proud fer yas Bro.....Fortune favors the prepared mind.....I know an operation like that don`t happen with a 1 man army , so just stay safe and true to yourself and keep your eyes wide open....

Peace.....DHF....:ying:...

Looking awesome bro !! Killing it in sw Colorado !!
I like the white floors ! :-]

Thanks man, you can tell a huge difference with the white film on the bottom. Just gotta run through it with some clean water and shine em up!

Are you doing any full sun outdoor this year? Looks like it could be done out here for sure.

ho;7031205]Nice! Those are 200s hey?[/QUOTE]

Yessir, 200 gals this year, I should of filled them up just a tab bit more, but they got every bit of 175 gallons of media in em. Each pot has 3.5 bales of Pro Mix HP.

Each greenhouse is getting between 300-600 gallons every 3 days depending on weather.

I have over 3 acres of water rights which equals out to over 3 million gallons of water per year to irrigate crops and use towards Ag in anyway.

They are loving these big ass pots.

Less than 48 pots fill an entire 125' hoop.

Looking schweeet as usual turbo. Are u hand watering this season again mate?

Thanks mate,

Garden hose pimpin' is how we roll. Hand watered for sure. Doesn't take that long at all double and triple wanding it.

Thanks for the awesome tips DHF,

Definitely not a 1 man army up in here. I have some of my closest friends helping me out for the past few years, best crew in the biz.

Shit is growing amazing... These have over a month left to grow before they start strech. I'm thinking these will be every bit of 8-12'.

Really diggin the larger pots. 200 gals are dope, might go a tad bigger next year.

Also lookin at a Conley automatic light dep for the year round.

Probably gonna do 50 gallon pots in the deps.

Caging mine tomorrow, is that thing built on a slope? Dope!!

Built on a slight slope for runoff, works great!

The sidewalls are 8-10' tall before the hoops start. I had 4' sidewalls last year. These babies are gonna be able to get huge!

Thanks man, it's really coming together.

All the exhaust fans and shutters will be here by next week. Also going to put in like 6 fans up top of each hoop to keep things swayin'

Max airflow FTW....especially at night when humidity spikes with big plants....

One good thing about Co constant drier and lower RH conditions helps to keep the airborn moldy and mildew pathogens at bay , but always keep airflow at a max for insurance....

Early on the greenhouse industry and hydroponic corporate veggie growers found out their propane heaters were offgassing excess CO2 , and their winter crops gave up more yield than the other 3 cycles they ran throughout the yr , so maybe your heaters will be enough Co2 supplementation for the winter run , who knows....

I guess monitors will give the ppms inside the hoops with just the heaters running.......What`s your choice of equipment for it , burners ?....just another propane heater designed for the hydro whore industry but I digress.....anyways.....

Thanks for the show T, and keep strokin....

Peace.....DHF.....

Dunno how I'm just seeing this one. Just sat down and read the entire thread.

Have had a huge boner for ghs lately.
Of course I have a few questions if you don't mind?

Do you need to be zoned for commercial or ag to run a medical greenhouse in co?

I am looking into some 1 acre plots in a pretty rural subdivision. They aren't selling like they thought and prices are pretty good considering location.

Could I run a few 42 x 50s out here? The town is alright with mmj operations. .. is this enough room? Electric would be easy enough, I would likely be hauling in water, though.

I would also most likely have some meat chickens for the summer, perhaps some egg layers as well.

I would not live at the location, except camping out a few weeks prior to harvest. I live about a thirty min drive away from the potential site. Would you recommend that? Probably just 2-3 light dep harvests per year.

Also, for night time humidity control, I assume you just take advantage of the low rh and use ventilation? How about when it is below freezing?

Thanks for sharing bro, inspirational shit :tiphat:

Edit:

These are average temps for the area I'm looking into

Is this close to your climate? Or should I plan on using more gas?

Any reason not to use polycarbonate instead of 6 mil?

Hey Turbo ! Looking like a green dream my man !I tried to send a couple pics to your cell but they didn't make it . I will get a few up when I get my son here to show me how to upload into my album . I just hit the roof on some plants.
And the moral of the story is be careful what you wish for ... I wanted large plants but not so big they wont fit under my greenhouse roof !!! Always an adventure in the grow world for sure !

Everything looks good at your camp !! Keep on trucking !

Last year I ran my modineheater without the exhaust hooked up, acted like a co2 burner, but had to exhaust to exchange air often.
Seemed to work out good.

Got the propane people coming out this week to see what they can do. Will definitely run co2 in the winter run in the deps, not sure for the full season girls.

Good vibes!

You need way over 1 acre and you need to be zoned ag. If that's the size GH's you want, then you need at least 30 acres. Good luck brotha!

Looking fine , loving the structure / arrangement .

Thank ya kindly:tiphat:

Pics, or didn't happen, lol!

Thanks man, everything is crushin'!

Everything looking real good man keep it up. I noticed you are using smart pots. Why not plant into the ground? How is the soil there?

The ground can be grown in, but it is super clay like. I'm lovin my big smarties with Pro-Mix HP. Shit is growing amazing!

Even though you can get some free co2 by doing this I would strongly recommend not going this route. Carbon Monoxide can build up quickly if that heater is running often like it would winter. Couple that with the fact that you probably have the greenhouse buttoned up when it's cold out and you'd be keeping it tighter, accumulating the CO. Lastly, those heating units are typically sized for either sea level or MAYBE Denver elevation and if you take them higher up in elevation and not resizing the orifices they will be running rich, having incomplete combustion, and creating even higher amounts of Carbon Monoxide. Even though you are getting free co2 I would highly recommend exhausting out of the greenhouse properly and also installing a Carbon Monoxide detector. Ever had CO poisoning? Shit suckssssss.

Aside from the quick safety meeting everything is looking rockstar status in there. I'm super jealous and would love to have some real estate like that.

Killing it bro !!! Hell yea ! On your way to a happy fall ! Sorry I will get a few pics up soon . The bad news is the bitches have outgrown their home and I am FREAKING THE FUCK OUT !!

Thanks for the show ! Peace , Oldschool

Better than being too small:laughing:

All of mine are sitting at about 5'-6.5' above the soil. Have about 6-7 of the seedlings starting to preflower damnit! Is that normal down here?

Everything looks like it will start doubling in size in Aug. Should have some super big bitches!

Going to run some trellis on top of the cages to get ready for the chunkers to come.

What's you favorite one you're growing this season?

Do you have to have anything special to hook up two twister T2s?
I have one already and i'm going to snag another one as well. Do you use the conveyer system? They also just came out with the option of dry trimming with the T2 as well. I definitely think the herb comes out way better with a dry trim overall. I'm gonna be knee deep and am trying to figure the best option. I don't want a bunch of people out at the farm.

Looks like we are going with a 3rd hoop for the off seasons.

20x96 hoop with tarp capabilities and 20 Gavitas.
