Sick ! Good for you Turbo , we are tuning in once again . My guess is youll do better out this way , the western slope is the best part of the state for growing ... thats why all the decent wine/ vineyards are out toward Grand County. Best of luck to you man, cant wait to see Turbo in the west side

Of course they do, and I pass the test everytime. I used to work for a very large dispensary in Denver and would have to deal with law enforcement, codes, hell you name it, just about everyday.

Be polite to your neighbors, have all documentation, and don't go bit off more than you can chew.

Ordering all the gear tomorrow. Cannot fucking wait to get this property!

So all the neighbors know what's up?
You don't have to be secretive?

Yes my neighbors know what's up. This property is almost 100 acres. We will also be using the land, growing veggies, cutting hay, goats, chickens... Let's just say I scored on this one:)

Greenhouses on order tomorrow, dirt, nutrients, and pots as well.

Here goes nothin;)

cool thread how did i miss this! 9k feet sounds awesome for pest management and you didn't need to spray anything, lucky!

so you guys are dealing with county and code enforcement out in CO as well? thats been my major headache this year, I've had 3 properties get checked by sheriff/code enforcement and now all are sitting empty. our county here in NorCal got blown up hard by all the out of state growers and disrespectful green rushers and ruined it for everyone, we had the best plant limits in the sierras and then the bible thumping voters changed everything to a measly 150sq ft per property.

I've been hearing alot about western CO and how alot of guys are putting up GHs and blow it up humboldt style lol. heard water isn't an issue there either. how much does acreage run out that ways? usually 40ish acres will run about 250k here, wondering how much 100 would be!

A lot less bugs at this altitude for sure.. This year's GH will be at 7000ft.

Only dealing with county codes in one county, but we are fighting it. The problem with the county trying to enforce a sq ft ordnance is that in Colorado, it is illegal. Cali is a proposition, Colorado's laws are amendments to the Colorado Constitution, just like freedom of speech and right to bare arms. A county cannot put a limiting number on sq footage, when the constitution says whatever is medically necessary.

State Laws rules over county ordinances, gonna have to remind these people how government works.

Gonna be a hell of a season!

thanks for the tip!

here in CA the legalization movement seems OK with letting local counties ban growing and enact ordinances. they claim there is no political will for overriding local control.

but your statement seems like there is hope!

Again, California is a Proposition, Colorado is an Amendment. Local Counties probably are allowed to enforce whatever the hell they want out there, because they can.

In Colorado it is our constitutional right via Amendment 20 and Amendment 64 to grow medical and recreational marijuana. We have the right.

Good luck brotha!

Blow it up, wish I could have afforded the dirt to run 200 gal!

I'll be in Colorado sometime this year again, definitely want to shake hands and blow some smoke with ya. Get to it!

Down for a puff sesh for sure brotha!

I was going to do all 100 gallons like last year, but can't go over 99. So I will grow less plants, bigger :)

If they aren't big enough come August (which im sure they will be) I will run supplemental lighting. (home depot yellow light special) to ensure the days stay long and the ladies fill out the pots completely. Judging by last year, I won't have a problem getting them to fill the pots especially in the Western Slope sunshine :peacock: :woohoo:

I am going to run Pro-Mix HP this year and run Canna Substra as my base nutrient with lot's of good additives that I use indoors. I wish I would of had time to bake and prepare soil, next year for sure!

Headed down to plant this weekend. Plants are about a foot tall, screamin for a transplant.

Gonna throw them into 3 gal's for last than a week, then off to the races in the 200's.

Rage it:tiphat:

Love your greenhouse how do you keep temp down?how hot does it get?

Thanks!

Shutters on one end, 36" shutter fan exhaust fans on the other.

Also rolling up the sides on hot days.

I've had it over 100 (not whatcha want) but ideally it would stay in the 70's low 80s during the day. Usually wouldn't let it go below 45-50 at night.
