as for judging... last year the event cost 50€ for the week. the judges were randomly selected and there wasn't an extra fee.

What are the exact dates, 20th being the obvious, its the other 2 days i was wondering about coz ill be there for 3 days and the sooner i book my flight the cheaper. Cant wait.

i really hope to try and get there this year. i definately want to enter some of my super silver haze - haze pheno and i would like to enter some kali mist or ssh bubblehash but i dont know if i can part with 10g of it

I want to rent a boat apartment that is big enough for around 15 or so but we would have to get this together. we could get a good deal and be in the right place and what fun it would be to float our boat.

This houseboat idea is doable cause they are there and they are nice. They arent cheap but we could easily afford it as a group I think. Who in amsterdam can arrange this for us?

Do a hostel.
They are cheap,and you're only there to pass out,and believe me,
you WILL pass out,not fall asleep.
You smoke hard all day,then eat a righteous dinner,then shitloads more smoke,De Dampkring closes at 1am,then off to Dolphins....then down the block to Paradiso,where they (literally) check your 'drugs' (herb) at the door.(It's a 'soft club',where you can smoke herb,but no 'hard drugs') opens until 8am,if you can stay upright that long....
I don't know if your currencey is weak or strong vs. the Euro,but I can tell ya that if it's bad,it's not likely to get better. When I first visited A'Damm a few years ago it was approximately 45% cheaper than it is since the conversion to the Euro....and weed isn't becoming MORE tolerated by the Dutch it's becoming noticably less tolerated.
(First time I visited a cop could light your joint,last time it was STRONGLY reccy'd that we not smoke in Tourist Zones,etc.or face harrassment/detainment....)
Hell,we had a Dutch motorcycle cop give us shit after a coffeeshop closed,for no good reason....so imo,again,if you haven't gone,GO.
I don't know if I'll be attending,but Reservoir Seeds will be represented in the competition, bet on that.

man i'd love to go this year, reading about it last year was a kick in the head! sounds like it was a blast, and will be again.... will have to enquire about some time off for the week of 4-20 perhaps..... and start lookin into some tickets....

Last year someone sent me some info about these apartments on the water and they can be rented for a few days too. They are nice and not cheap but if in a good location I would sleep well on the water cause it rocks me like a baby even if barely perceptable. I didn't remember what it was but it seemed to me like a columbian maybe. Quite potent so I would encourage you to make at least one entry this year. It required only 20 grams to enter last year but leave an oz. BOG
I hope I can meet you this year as we missed each other...is that some Bogbubble I see or another something bubble?

BOG: yeah it was a weird entry, i agree. The only outdoor entry, i guess. It was a cross between KC33 (kcbrains) and Edelweiss (bagseed) and my first reasonable (not only seeds and sticks) grow.
The bubble in the picture is from Who's Y Daddy plants, A JohnnyReeferSeeds plant and two Durban x Skunk plants (all outdoor)and some Powerplants and WhiteWiddows (indoor).
I'll probably enter with my best WYD pheno, it didn't yeild that much but i smoke it all the time and gets me nice n baked.
Actually i did meet you during the cup and rolled some inside-out pure joints with a 'roach' (as you americans call it) from Smokeys Stash.
