Hello everyone, sorry it took so long for me to get an update for ya... Sour60 are doing wonderful, they are currently around 47 days old, and really starting to bulk up, they have pretty much almost halted in terms of height(which im actually very happy about, they are already too tall for me!) The 150watt hps just isnt cutting it for my cab, since the 3 non LST s60s are so tall! The light is about 1 and half feet from smaller s60s and the seedling are around 3 feet from the light! Any one that knows anything about lighting knows im in need of more! So i decided to break down and buy a t5 light to add to my setup... Im currently awaiting for the light to arrive, i will have pictures as soon as it arrives... I chose a light from HTG supply that is suppose to produce 10000 lumens, which will greatly improve the lighting in my cab... I plan on moving my hps light directly over the s60s and have my t5 beaming down on smaller s60s/ seedling/ smaller branches.... This light will bring my cab to a total of 26000 lumens which will bring me to around 6500 lumens per square foot... Now for some pictures!

they do look stretched a bit like my il diavolo in my old thread where she topped 30"+ but its wether or not the buds fill in the gaps ??
i wanna know the difference between this strain and mdanzigs latest creation , do his new seeds yield bigger grow taller or has he added something else to the mix?
ive emailed him to find out about his latest stash and where i can get some from so hopefully in the coming weeks i can start an onyx vs sour 60 grow thread

Whether or not the buds fill in the gaps has alot to do with light, even with my onyx alot of the lower buds didnt fill in the gaps, simply because i was using only 150watt hps for flowering them...
Ive also contacted mdanzig and asked bout the new pheno, no word yet, but by the looks of a few pics it seems to be mostly single cola, which for some growers would be lovely, he did say he had a s60 that is 44inches right now... Id really like to see you do a grow off between the onyx and s60, thats kinda what ive done, and hands down right now the s60 is way more trich covered and taller plant.. So if it was my guess i would say the s60 is gonna win when you grow em too, espically if you get some new phenos to work with

I've been thinking to buy one myself in the future... ur flowering with 150w ye? seems like they have SO much more to give if they where given more light sources, im really looking forward to try these outdoors... sun + deep pots + nutes = sour60 MADNESS!

ahhh mate saying that makes me wanna grow them out even more, it would be a good grow comparison from 2 outstanding specalists in the field of autos it would be a tough 1 to call
my onyx frosted up nicely under cfl but i think i could improve on this now with better lights
wait till you see what la blanca brings to the table in terms of frostyness mate the breeders are claiming that she is the frosty auto on the market, gotta love the white widow

Wow skotty, I swear when I do buy more beans this La blanca is on my list!!! white widow??? hell yeah!!
wait till you see what la blanca brings to the table in terms of frostyness mate the breeders are claiming that she is the frosty auto on the market, gotta love the white widow

Beautiful m8... how is that t5 working out for you? satisfied? I've been thinking to buy one myself in the future...
So far the t5 is working out lovely, at first i didnt like the way it looked in my cab, i guess because it was such a new change? But ive only had it setup for around 24hours and so far im in love with it and ive seen big changes in the small plants and the bottom 1/3 of the s60s branches are benefitting from the t5 also. T5s are great for supplemental lighting or for smaller plants.... I would not trade my 150 for anything! Ive had very good results with it so far (able to pull over a oz from an auto) and with the s60 i plant to top that! As i stated before anyone that has never tried autos should try either onyx or sour60, they are both flagship strains in the autoworld imo....

I know exactly where that bud is, im gonna try to keep tabs on it for the next coming weeks, its one of the lower buds under the t5, so it might not get huge, but better than it would have with no t5 also it shall be COVERED in trichs
