Lastnight she was cut down! At day 98 of flower, 98% or more of her hairs were brown indicating to us that she was ready to come down. Today I will get pictures of her cut in sections. Also will be bringing one more Evo Lavender out of veg and putting her in the big box to flower.

Hey Tyler We think they look more pinkish amber... We also, are on edge to smoke some of her, one week and she'll be jointable. After that she may hang for another week, and them into paper bags for a week.

This is her main stalk. We kept the fan leaves on the entire plant, going to try to clip all of those on wednseday.


And these are her side stalks, the tops of these got more light then the main stalk. There are five here, two of them are hiding behind another one.

And the newest addition to the large flowerring box! She looks like a funky mess of leaves. Her nodes are extremely tight, half an inch spacing between each of them. She is 6-1/2 inches tall with 8 nodes.

Hello everybody! Thank you all for the kind words.

Caligreen - It was a very long wait for this girl, the odd thing is, the flowerring clone Evo#2 looks like it might finish up around day 60to70. But this strain seems to be a very low yeilder, this whole harvest of Evo#1 is looking like nearly 1 ounce of dry smoke. That would only last us a month, if that. Fantastic smoke so far, will be a smoke report in a week or two.

Freezerboy - She definetly had some kinks and twists in her. We are kicking each other in the ass for not LST'ing her, but now we know.

Hazy - Sky high high is right! We can't even make it through an entire joint of her. Half way through we have to put it down haha!

A Long Awaited Update ~Part1~ The Veg/Clone Closet

Hello all! Sorry to have been slacking on the updates, things have just been crazy with the holidays and such. I know people are still waiting on detailed photos and a review on the Evo#1 harvest, soon... But, we have been keeping up on our perpetual grow rather well. :joint

Our vegging Evolution Lavender plants are huge and awaiting transplant into the flowering boxes, which may happen as soon as two weeks. Some things inside of our veg closet have been changed/updated.

We removed the small rubber maid cabinet and its two 13w Fluorescent lights. We decided it would be more room and easier to cram all of our vegging clones, inside the closet without the cabinet. We also added 4 four foot 80watt fluorescent fixtures, for a total of 320 watts of cool white light.

crzygirl finally!!! Dont scare us like that LOL Good to see that your garden is staying green. You've expanded quite a bit it seems All the PTK's Ive seen grown on here have looked delicious. I hope to get my hands on some one of these days.

A Long Awaited Update ~Part2~ The Flower Boxes

Here it goes, the flowering boxes. We've since upgraded our small flower boxes 70watt MultiVapor light to a 150watt HPS that we purchased for $20 online.

Inside the large flowering box, we installed a stand up tower style oscillating space heater to keep temps at 71F to 75F. Also replaced the 175watt bulb that was taking a shit (was getting more white in color, and was flaking inside the glass).

Three weeks ago our large flower box suffered a ph imbalance. PH was at 6.5 for two weeks straight causing some funkiness with the leaves. Finally we got PH steady at 5.8, and the funkiness has stopped.

Didn't mean to scare anyone
Our vegging clones kind of forced us to expand. In regards to the PTK, the Evo girls we are growing are supposed to be the offspring of PTK Tar and PTK Skunk parents.

If regular PTK's are anything like our Evo girls, then feed them lightly LOL...
Our girls don't like anything over 650~750 PPM during flower! The vegging Evo's enjoy their solution of veg nutes at 650+. Now, the BG's we've grown in the past had NO PROBLEMS handling 1200+ PPM during flower.

In regards to more frequent updates , either my hubby or I should be able to update atleast once a week. We are really anticipating the harvest of Evo#3 and Evo#2 so we can put our vegging Evo monsters into flower and continue LST.

Hi hazy! Yes, I agree with the drool.

The EvoLav#2 looks so much deeper in purple, and a bit denser than the Evo#3. This perpetual so far seems to be slow LOL. But, having plants that take 95+ days to flower doesn't really help!

These Evo girls will be gorilla grown probably for now on. They need the sun and huge area to grow into trees that we have to clime up, to break buds off

hey, you guys need to get a short flowering strain, to run next to those long time girls.

how long do the BG and the PTK take?
You know, the perpetual thing takes a while to get going. Especially, like you say with long running strains, but you got a good start going, and obviously with the new additions, you'll have more regular chops coming.
That evo2 does look really good.

Yea hazy, the PTK im unsure about on flower time. Considerring Evo's parents were PTK's, they might have the same long flower time. Now, the BG side of BGxDP-Twi, takes a normal 60-70 days flower maybe less its been a while. And im pretty sure the Dutch Passion Twilight side of BGxDP-Twi is also has a 60-70 day flower time.
