88 sounds a little warm. Not so bad when you're within inches of the bulb but we want to be as close as possible.

There's two things you can tweak if needed:

2x passive intake isn't a rule but it's a good general tip. We're talking square inches so eight 1" holes is much less than one 8" hole.

You can cool the hot spot with a pc fan, either blowing directly on the bulb or between the bulb and canopy.

If by chance you can't rock within 2" of the bulb, don't worry. Close as possible is best, even if it's 3 or 4 inches. Some strains are more prone to heat stress, you may have to compensate.

Greetings 150 watters and happy new year.

I am almost 4 full weeks into flower and the 2 northern lights have flowered nicely but the afghan just barely began to flower a couple of days ago. I'll most likely have to stagger harvest taking the NL first and ending with the Afghan unless, by some miracle, the Afghan finishes in 3 weeks.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Same tent, same light schedule, same reservoir, yet the afghan refused to flower until 4 weeks into 12/12. I was actually gonna remove it from the garden to make more room for the other two plants but i'm glad i didn't.

Hello 150 watters! I'm sure this group could really appreciate this link. I've looked all over for something like this and bought it at TigerDirect . com. It's an external PC fan controller. It plugs into the wall, controls up to 4 PC fans, and allows you to control the speed on all 4.

This thing only consumes 24 watts so if you're using a 300 watt pc power supply, this is a great alternative. My only complaint is that only 2 of the ports were working for me. That's all I needed so I kept it but you could have 4 PC fans attached to this and the variable speed control is great.

Cal/Mag Problem? Help!

Hello fellow 150w enthusiasts. These are my two different strains in the same LP Aero tub that appear to have a Magnesium deficiency to me, does anyone have any insight? The first two are of the same plant, and seems to be taking the brunt of it, the second two are of the other plant and seem less affected. All of the new growth and branches are healthy and for the most part pretty vigorous. Only the fans are affected on the second plant and only the bottom most two fans on the first plant.I think I'm going to change out the res to see what happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If you fill out the infirm questionnaire, changing the font color helps differentiate the questions from your answers. Copy the form, paste it in a new thread in the infirmary. We have peeps that see themselves as specialists in the emergency room. And they don't typically make house calls, lol.

Disco, the temps are good, It's not enclosed really. I also grew the mother in the same area/way. Hmmmmm.... I just changed the res, so hopefully it'll help. How do you get the thumbnails to link to the originals? I also posted those pics on the infirmary and if they can't zoom, they might not be able to give me a solution. Thanks a lot buddy, you're the man!

Sorry org, you have to tweak you user settings. Not sure where it is. Check the FAQ or drop a thread in website support.

I believe the form would give more info than the picks. The thumbs are visible enough. Hope you get it worked out.

Here's what you want:

Click My IC > Under Your Control Panel settings, Click Profile Privacy

On the Display Options page, scroll to Albums > Click the down window

These settings determine who sees your enlarged pics.

You can click Everyone (non-members included)

Registered Members (all IC members)

Your Contacts (IC members on your IC "contact list" only)

Your Friends (IC members on your IC "friends list")

If you want a little privacy, bar non-members from seeing your pics.

If you want to display large pics to members that aren't on either of your lists, select registered members.

Click Save

Greetings 150 watters. I'm a few weeks out from harvest on my first grow and I'm already planning my next grow. I have a couple of options and wanted to get the views of other members.

I came across about 100 seeds from some of the worst weed I've ever had. I'm assuming it's because the weed was allowed to go to seed.



Looks to be Mexican brick weed.


So here's my question...

I have alot of these crappy bagseed (or are they?) and I have Widowrella and Grapefruit from Female Seeds, and Northern Lights from marijuana seeds. nl

Given that I have pretty decent genetics with the named strains should I even bother with the crappy bagseed? I was thinking of dropping 10 beans and doing a small 6 plant SOG (all female). What if this crappy bagseed just needed some love to be something special? I would definitely like to experiment with it.

Any suggestions?

Dude I would feed those bagseeds to the birds and just go with the known genetics. I have a bag full of seeds that look just like that and after growing about 5 of them I wouldn't waste the time growing anymore of those seeds. The herb that I grew was OK herb, it got me high, but you could tell it was bagseed cause the high was short lived and not potent at all. What I'd do if I were you is pop a few of those female seeds you have grow them to sufficient size and just make them mothers and clone the heck out of them. You could still do your SOG and be guaranteed something worth your efforts versus just using random seeds. Maybe just do one or two from the mexi brick but no more than that if you really just want to experiment

Throw the bag seed somewhere outside and see if it grows or make a plot and try an outdoor with those but dont waste your time and money trying to grow them indoor if you have good genetics as Noobian said

Grow same genetics as before
and see result of slightly different grow style.
(I lowered ppm and less kool bloom for GH Lucas

Dont waste your time with crap genetics!

Do some late cloning
AND/OR buy some new good seeds for variety.

I know what you mean, lots to navigate. I noticed you have less than 50 posts. That could be the threshold to activate privacy. I knew about new member restrictions but not this one. You can drop a few comments and be ready to go.

The link I posted only shows each members respective album. I see my album, you see yours, Billy sees his, etc.

You don't have to set up the editor, it already is. After 50 posts, look for the privacy option in My IC to activate. Then you can select from the list of display restrictions. If your artwork is in your photo albums, all you have to do is post the thumbs like you,ve been doing. You'll also be able to post large pics in lieu of thumbs.
