your setup reminds me of mine a lot haha same light and same airpump
but if i where you i would get some cheap little light bulb socket with a power cord from Home Depot and put a splitter on it
couple of those in there and youll have a good spectrum and light coverage

how big is your grow area?

Yeah good call thats why that light is in there, I plan on putting more wattage through cfl lighting. Its 42" x 28" x 5.5' I have a lot of space but my room mates do not smoke and are paranoid that the cops will notice heat signature and electricity bill, this is the reason for the low watt hps in a nice lil closet area How long does it usually take til my clones have root growth into my bucket?? I put one in on saturday and thought I would see growth by now?

work2fish, I don't grow hydro so I can't help ya with that. I think you want some roots hanging off the root ball. The feeder roots are submerged in water and the root ball is an inch or so above the water line. Splashing from the air bubbles keeps the root ball moist but doesn't saturate it.

A 150 setup will not risk you're roommates' security. I hope they don't risk yours. Your television probably takes more power than your garden.

vinnythebat if you think about the wattage you shouldnt be to worried some hair dryers take more wattage then that

and for work2fish you might want to have your clones root in somthing like rockwool cubes until you see roots to develop once you see a good amount of roots then i would put it in the buckets and make sure the water level reaches about half way up the cube when its in the pot and lower the water level as more and more roots grow

yeah it is in oasis foam and in the bottom I hand feed it 3 times a day from the res. I called the nursery and they said the bull rider is extremely finicky to get started but if started it grows like a champ. So I will keep my fingers crossed if not he offered to replace it for free. I have a clone nursery for 215 patients that has the best genetics around ANYWHERE, with enough strains to keep you busy for years. PM me for details if your in the so cal area.

I flushed everything out and put new water and nutes in I got a better PH meter and wanted to restart.

Tomorrow will tell all!

but you shouldnt need nutes this early on all they need is ph'd water
wait till they are a bit bigger and you can start a light feed

Thats what I thought to but with hydroponics and using clones I guess you start feeding from beginning it is one of the perks of using hydro. I am lucky to have very helpful and experienced growers to learn from at a stone throw away and this is who I learned it from as well as my clone dealer.

o well what works works i guess i got a hydro setup 2 and i never saw a need for nutes early they did prefect without it
you should send me a pm about that clone nursery

Seedlings can feed themselves for a period of time. Clones have nothing to feed from.

Hey guys, got another weekly update posted in my Diesel Ryder SOG thread. Im gonna try not to post pictures of it here so much as not to flood the thread with my junk Just figured I would let you guys know in case you wanted to check it out, my 150w HPS is keeping up VERY nicely with my 8 DR ladies. I actually had a couple of them less than 2" from the bulb for over a day and there was ZERO burning or bleaching! Just goes to show what a little bit of airflow will do for a hot bulb! my rainbow kush dropped roots! its going off already went through 2 nodes in 2 days. Put my light break on 18/6. bull rider still hasnt rooted and still looks healthy?!?! probably is just being a pain and will drop any day now. I am gonna start a grow journal the second I get my second bubbler rooted

My bull rider clone kicked the can I am super bummed about it. I can get another one but decided to go with shiskaberry, 60 day flower time? Can anyone confirm this? Just waitin on the nursery to call and let me know its in!

What would be the big difference if it is 60 days or 70 days?
Flowering times are just guidelines anyway...one grow can cause them to ripen faster than another grow. Too many variables involved.
If the breeder lists their times after flowers appear, you will just be disappointed if you count from 12/12. Just watch your plants and then you will know how long they take.
Unless you only count on doing the thing one time, you will have your answer soon. (shrug)
Just about all commercial cannabis will go from 7-10 wks, and hazes longer.
