My First Girl!!!!!!!

Hey all! I am kinda new here and to growing. I tried twice before once on my balcony and once with my 150hps. My balcony one I ended up tearing out after a fight with my fiance. My second try was a Cali O and a SADP x S#1. Both turned out to be male. So I decided to use bagseed until I finished a full grow. Well with out due here is my first girl in my ghetto closet setup!















I overwatered them a little bit last night but they are doing fine so far. A little nute burn but very little. I use ff ocean forest plus fox farm nutes and liquid karma. I think it may be rootbound because the growth has slowed down tremendously. I also have her tied down. Please comments are welcome.

suga, i think those are called freedom buckets if i'm not mistaken. it sounds like a great idea for sure! i've already got everything laid out for my next run so i can't go switching up the whole plan! hopefully everything will be going strong within 2 weeks. gotta keep on..............

User Name - I don't plan on putting them in a cool tube. I'll just have some small fans blowing up at them and then at the top of the flower area I'll mount my carbon scrubber connected to my dayton to exhaust the area. From my calculations it should be enough to suck the heat out before it builds up but I'd like to hear some opinions.

Hey suga I had my 150's tubed and untubed. Yea keep the fans on the bulb and the 135cfm should work good.

Looking real good...after reading this thread I am takin a stand against street dealing and all that bs that goes along with it....and I have decided to start a 150hps grow...Now my first question is...Do you guys think It would be cool to grow c99 scrog in a lil cab...I know I cant have that thing be that tall so wont the scrog screen just stop the plant at that height and bush it out? Any and all help is thanked in advance cya around.

yes overdoze, but not on it's own. you've got to train the branches outward as it grows through. c99 would probably be a good choice for the scrog. ya fuck dealers man, only in it for one thing $

C99 is a great strain for scroggin in cabinets. I also suggest Northern Lights x C99 as it has many of the same great qualities and even lower odor than the c99 alone (which is low odor).

Um so first off I have yet to buy my supplies...and I've been looking for a cab the past couple of days...So for a 150 what dimensions are perfect for it? Also how many plants would you guys stick with for the best yeild 1 or 2? thanx in advance!

i would go no bigger than 2x2 maybe 2x3. i found a 3 chamber style cabinet for $99 bucks at SavingLots Furniture. they also sell c25 or c22 cabinets at homedepot for around $100, search on the forums ive seen some clubs for these kidna cabs. As far as getting a 150w HPS light you can pick one up at homedepot for about $90 bucks. if they have the 175w Metal Halide fixture there i would suggest getting that becuase you can switch out a 175w MH for veg with a 150 HPS for flowering. and doing two plants scrogged would be ideal for ya. Ill get off my lazy ass and take some pics of my cab and the 3 test plants i have going... ...after this blunt of course..

ive been busy..... i set all this up today, these ladies went through a lot, transplanting into a new mix, then training them through the screen.

i'm trying to keep it as short and thick as possible. things should get lovely so long as these roots like this mix

7 plants, 7 strains, all bagseed baby, you know my style!

What kind of budget you looking at? You can get a 150 (ballist/bulb) for under 25 bucks here http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/EFamily.asp get 2 and have some fun.

hey guys do you u like this setup?? do i have it wrong?? its my first time. its a 150hps the walls is covered wid foil paper. is the plant too far from the light do i need a bigger fan???

let me know what you guys think i too these plants from outdoors and put them in 12/12

yes those lower plants could be moved closer. a 150w hps should be 4-12" from the tops of your plants. don't put them any closer if it's too hot though. what is the temp in there when the lights are on?
