yep to some degree but it can always be worse.

The Hostage Crisis in Iran

On November 4, 1979, Iranian militants stormed the United States Embassy in Tehran and took approximately seventy Americans captive. This terrorist act triggered the most profound crisis of the Carter presidency and began a personal ordeal for Jimmy Carter and the American people that lasted 444 days.

just glad there going home without more problems.

^ haha so true. Good news is never good news in the media, people like to hear about violence and conflicts. Just like sex and violence sell in movies, they also sell in the news. That's why I don't watch most news, they just show you what gets the most ratings.

I am breathing a sigh of relief....till the next crisis. See what happens when people talk? The UK TALKED to Iran and some good came of it. :chin:

Duh...whats talk mean?

Why is it that all the assholes who want war are too old to do the fighting? It seems that it is always the young who have to die for the war-like desires of the old.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor

This thread gave me a major hankering for some Black Sabbath.
