im certain there is a lesser recluse in northern mexico/ california that has necrotic venom,

its not a ''brown recluse'' but instead somting like, northern sonoran recluse etc...

like i said i had a kid get bit and it went necrotic over a weekend and in San Diego, CA!

Maybe it was because it was a young kid with weaker immune etc. idk

I caught three Black Widows in my yard and put them in a critter cage, two same size and one big fat momma.I did this to see who could last the longest.Well the big one won.

I was drinking at the time also(bad idea).

Lots of cool looking spiders here in the desert.

Somtimes when I see scorpions I let them live and put them back outside for the KARMA
Same with black widows and they scare me! should kill them fockers, last time I saw a huge wolf spider i had to kill it
Ive never been bite so far but every now and then the old lady makes me put them down

Caught a Pygmy rattlesnake in Florida and kept it in a 5 gal bucket. About a 20-24 inch snake, didn't have a good place to keep it at the time and put it behind a summer home at a lake development that I thought was abandoned. Eventually put it in a cat cage there and one visit it was missing. Someone got the surprise of their life. Poor judgement, was probably 20 at the time

in the summer of '96 or '97 I was out in my garage when I could feel myself being watched, I turned and looked up to see the biggest wolf or wolf type spider I'd ever seen, some locals claim that these big bastards of nature can kill cats & have.

this thing was sitting on a roof truss over 8 feet up, I walked out of the garage and came back w/my .410 shotgun w/a light load (short brass) to minimize damage. I had to shoot that fucker because I would have had to burn down that garage if I'd missed him.

Yeah, fire might be the 14th natural way to rid your crib of spiders

What type of tarantula? I have three, Mexican Red Knee, Desert Blonde, and a Chaco Golden knee. Been keeping tantula's for many years. They make the most interesting pets. Won't handle them though, I've seen what they do to their prey.

LOVE spiders!

Don't know what kind it is. She was found in SE NM. Have had her for two years now. Need to feed her today. Been looking on the roads for a male to try to see if they will breed. I think it would be cool to see how many little ones they would make.

Don't know what type she is. Could be a Desert Blonde (aphnopelma chalcodes) as they are native to that area. But she is gonna molt real soon. Cool as hell to see them molt, it's like a rebirth.

have found black widows in my yard before. used to catch them and put them in a certain neighbors yard for his prick 13 yr old boy to play with. have recluses here but have never (knowingly) seen one. they are bad to get into shirts, jackets etc hanging around, and you get bit without even knowing it until it starts to swell. i throw my coats etc on the ground and stomp hell out of them before putting them on if they have hung for a while. it has worked so far, LOL!
