Hey Spidey!!! I mean Yortbogey :) ....

Great thread and good advice about repelling the nasties... I use Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap mixed with water and it does a great job on ants, spiders, wasp nests... time to mix another bottle and go after the front porch, doors, window frames, and cracks in the floor in the laundry room. That's where they come in - from under the stairs.

And let's not get started about the PEOPLE under the stairs, cause they aren't there!

Is that a recluse bite noyd? Looks too big but maybe untreated it can get that bad. Mine started as a couple small bruises a quarter inch apart then the wound spread larger away from the bite into about a half dollar size scab that was indented. It was like the skin slowly melted from acid. Kind of a swirly looking scar.

I'm not afraid of spiders. but I dont like them on me, if I feel something crawling on me and there is a chance it is a spider I makes sure to get it off me before I investigate.

fuck spiders, fuck their webs... for that matter fuck mesquitoes, who they fuck do you think you are, get a real fucking job blood sucker!

at least spiders do something to keep bug numbers down

Myth of brown recluse in California
written by a scientist that studies spiders

Widows only bite when threatened. They avoid people unless you go ripping thru wood piles without gloves on.

i dont know about that man, I find spiders just like these quite often within the last 8-10 years or so...

and I dont know if the ones I find are actual "brown recluse" or some close relative but its close enough for me... they act the same and look just like the one in the picture.
