its less 40 degrees outside. so my temps are where ever i set my crappytmp-dne. it works better than i thought it would after the reviews here on icmag. we shall see though. lights on temp is about 78. but the rh is low at about 40 :/ in my set up i do not really have a way to control it. i do not see how a humidifier would work if im pumping the rooms air out every few mins. i have my 55 gal barrel of tap water bubbling out chlorine in the room. Although the bubble barrel doesn't seem to do diddly for rh boost in the bloom room.

i do not want to run into vpd problems having such low rH
What I did for many yrs was to use a lung room outside the fliprooms to pump in perfect RH with major air exchange and what was exhausted and replenished twice per minute was always optimal in the Hell of where I live......so.....that said....

Whole house humidifiers , swamp coolers , hydrofogger.com comes to mind to help yas for 70% RH till end of stretch........then....

Let your low RH work for yas during late flower till end of cycle with major air exchange for as low as yas can keep bigger plants below 50% once they`re dialed and transpiring during lights on as well as off......

Dehueys will be needed with increased bigger plant numbers guaranteed....

Good luck......DHF......:ying:........

the santa fe seems to the choice for us for dehuey. what is the recommended growers choice for humidification? the hydrofoggers? i remember reading about someone saying dont use x for humidification because the disks are expensive.

if i am replacing the rooms air every 2 minutes and my room is 400 sq ft do I need a humidifier that will work for 24000 ft? my math: 2*30*400 sq ft=24000 that sounds like an expensive humidifier.

Joesey Wales runs swamp coolers in a low humidity environment and does well......

Pm him or maybe he might pop in the thread for some input.....

VPD rules the day Bro.....Good luck.....and....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:........

Nice looking setup. Im running a similar grow to yours just not as many lights. I love the monster plants in coco. I run 1 bag Roots/1 bag coco. I just switch from straight soil and I love it. Best investment I ever did was a A/C unit. I know moneys tight but for sure a grow like that you will soon need to invest. Check out my grow the plants looked really similar.

if i go the ac route then ill need dehueys and prob humidifiers till they bush out a bit. i already have a 8 burner c02 gen. plus with ac that is that many less amps for lights i could put in my flower room. i mean the whizz dhf says i need 8 more bulbs. thats prob close to your 2.5 ton ac. i was thinking i'd need 5 tons for 12k bare bulb which is 50 amps. i'm pretty sure all i have to do is increase my air flow to cool all the lights and not need ac.

your grow looks nice bro. whats your watts/sq foot in your set up?

day 10 after flip. they are still growing strong even with lower rH. some even showing preflowers. theres one with some funky fan leaves.

I was cramming 38 or so in the flower room under 9 lights. I had 3 lights unplugged as they still needed more veg. So instead of waiting for those others to veg I am thinking of spreading the 38 under 12 lights. That way there is only 3 plants per light.

The more i research the more i am agreeing 28 gallons of coco under one light may be a waste. So now we are down to 21. I would like to stay on the high side of coco usage so that I do not have to water as much. Since my lights run when I'm sleeping Id rather not get up in the middle of the night to water.

night time temps are getting a little low so we have been using the garage heater as little as possible to keep temps up without burning up all rH.

flowerfarmer- the pump on a remote switch is a back saver.

i notice your scrubber is standing, they are never as efficient standing as they are when you hang them horizontally in the highest part of the room. you will see it will run better.

they are regular nursery pots. next round i am thinking of giving the smarties a go. they are becoming monsters alright....

i have been wondering about how much more efficient the filter would be hanging up in the hot part of the room. i do not have a ladder any more or I think i would have attempted flower farmers tie down strap hanging method. I also didnt hang it as I was paranoid about all the extra weight hanging from the ceiling.

Also switch out that flex-duct for the rigid business... you will also see positive results from that. The weight shouldn't be a problem for your ceiling. Refer to my thread "8K Schnazzlebeast..." in Chimera's forums for a pic of my setup.
