Wow Sleepy. Is that the lights doing that or are you growing seed you ordered from Mines of Moria Seedbank?

LEDs are the future but, the future ain't here yet.

Is it possible the future is sooner than I think? This almost makes me wish I'd tried to snag one. Thanks for putting up with all the marklar and sharing with the class.

I'm jumping in kinda late but I just saw LEDgirl's thread which brought me here. Looks like our grows are moving at around the same pace. I'm really interested in LEDgirl's lights, I never grow during the summer because it gets hot as hell, yet you say your led lights emit almost no heat? How about the air blowing from the fans on top of the light? Looks like it'd be perfect for me to perpetually grow in the summer, except those lights are mighty pricey. Anyhow, I'll be watching this grow.

Yes they might be kinda pricey but, you should recoup your money in power saving costs in a couple grows.

Right. And if claims are Realistic, they should pay for themselves completely in no time. Plus all the odds n ends u save on like duct fans hoods. I just wish I could sample a led bud personally. I am takin with the claim 2x as dense n better quality. Hard to imagine so when I look at my hid buds that couldn't get any denser or frostier for what they are strain wise.
Still optamistic though. Can't wait for sleepy to finish!!! maybe I take a long nap til it's over lol.
For me, a while back I heard through friend that his crew was outdoing there old hid grows with led grows n not going back. That is what keeps me hopeful for this, as I have no idea what led they used.
Awesome potential with spectrum tunabilty!!!

Hey Sleepy. How long do you plan on vegging these babies before you make the flip to 12/12? Everything is looking awesome, by the way. :joint:

not sure what you consider 'realistic' ;)
I mean 2x as dense n better quality claim. I have no issues with power usage or heat man. Read my statement again. Simply hard to swallow that those lights grow nugs more dense than mine or better. That doesn't mean I bet against them. Just seein is believing. Those claims would be easier to swallow if I looked at ledgirls plants with a wow on my face. But I can not judge the lights from her plants alone. Selling lights doesn't make u expert grower I know. Her growing practices may not be up to par with the pro status peeps. time will tell. And a thc level testing would prove better quality. Opinions are like well u know.
Sleepy on other hand I trust. His pics and descriptions are invaluable to me since I am considerng buying many units if all claims are proved by my boy here on these specific units. Hopeful I am. I just gotta wait now. N watch

dirty You should know by now what happens when you "ASSume'.

While it seems LEDGirl overstated her case, keep in mind that even seeds from the same batch have slightly different genetics. That alone, could account for the differences we see. In my last grow (from the same seeds), in the same aero pod, I had 2 females- one was less than 8 inches the other over 2 feet. Was it my light? lol

i forgot what i said. anyway, i know you coming from a different angle tho. i'm just trying to keep it 100. if somebody told me i'm selling you chemdog '91 organically grown in optimum conditions and this is the #1 herb in the world, i'd expect not to be sold mexican brick. that's all i'm saying just keep it 100. all she had to do was say. i got a led that's grows bud, simple. all the bullshit, for what? i'd feel real fucked up if i bought those four units she suggested, getting a 1/3 of the yield of my 1000w. couldn't even explain how i'd feel if i couldn't get my money back. anyway, sleepy do your thing.

DIRTY R U HIGH?

Let's use your example of buying CD on the street. What you would never know (and it would make little to no dif to the high) is the size of the plant your purchase came from.

Here, we are talking about yield. There are a lot of unseen variables, including genetics of the seed/clone. Now, if all WarBux clones were from the same mother, we have to look farther.

Depending on where your heads are aimed, the Root Chamber can have dead zones. If the root chamber does not have enough heads, or if they are aimed wrong, one plant will do really well while another suffers, even though it is getting the same nutes and feedings. I saw this in my own root chamber, but the aero heads I am using (and I think that LEDGirl is supplying), are adjustable. 'IF' you keep a watchful eye on the roots (and you should0, you can adjust the heads and revive any roots that are not keeping up.

In the pic below are the type of roots TAG develops. When switched to bloom, with bloom nutes, these lovely pony tails will become phat ass pom-poms.

WarBux, show us yours so people can see the difference; depending of course on how long ago you installed the aero system.

the plants are doing ok...they were sprouts as of 11/30, and i plan on flipping the timer next week...

here are a few pix taken this evening...

the other three...

other than a little leaf-tip burn, they look good...nice deep green leaves...

they are quite squat, and i wonder if they will stretch much after i flip the timer...
