Hello everyone out there in IC land, thank you for all the growing advise. For you I present my current set-up. Any advice or suggestions would be priceless, that’s how we all learn. Thank you for your input and enjoy.
Peace Homies. :canabis:

Set-Up Overview

Our system is currently designed to allow us to clone from selected mothers grown from seed stock. We are able to begin new genetics as often as every 2-3 months. Everything is grown organically in LC’s soil less mix # 1 (more in nutrient overview).

Clone/Seedling Growth (1-2 weeks)

First is our clone/seedling area contained within the main veg room. This area consists of a raised platform with 4x40 watt Cool White florescent tubes. Lights are kept within 2-4 inches above 4.5-inch plastic nursery flats. We clone/seed directly into the soiless mix. All water for clones and seedlings is highly oxygenated with constant use of an aquarium pump in and a reservoir. The reservoir water for the clones and seedlings is adjusted to a pH around 6.5 with Earth Juice pH adjustment after the addition of Liquid Karma and Earth Juice Catalyst (as directed). All walls are covered in Mylar and a stationary fan moves ambient air. Temps 75-80F Humidity 55%

Veg Growth (4 weeks)

The veg area houses all of our soon to be flowering plants as well as a few mothers to hold down a genetic stock. Currently we use a single stationary 400-watt CMH (ceramic metal halite) over 1.6 gallon plastic nursery pots which plants are transferred to. All the walls are covered with reflective Mylar. Two vent fans cool the area, both are 250cfm and move air directionally over the plants. An SM-90 foliar treatment regimen is used during the 2nd week of veg as a preventative measure against fungus and pests. Plants are watered with Liquid Karma, Earth Juice Catalyst, and oxygenated water adjusted with Earth Juice pH adjustment. Plants are fed once every three waterings with FoxFarm Grow Big in concentrations directed. A stationary fan also moves ambient air 24 hours. Temp 75-80F Humidity 50%

First Day Veg

Flowering Growth (8-9weeks)

Finally our flowering area with our pride and joy (the girls). We transplant after a veg growth of around 4 weeks into 5-gallon buckets with the same soiless mix. The plants are SCROGed under a large 9x6 net. Two light movers from light rail move the two 600watt HPS lamps parallel to each other down the length of the netting. All the walls are covered with reflective Mylar and supplemental CO2 is given with a tank and regulator. Ventilation is key to good growth! We have a 550cfm-intake fan blowing air lengthwise across the plants and a 1200cfm out take waiting at the other end. During the first part of flowering (3-4 weeks)the plants receive Neptune’s Harvest fish, Liquid Karma, Earth Juice Catalyst, and pH adjusted water. During the latter part of flowering the Neptune's Harvest fish supplement is switched with Neptune's Harvest fish/seaweed. Temp 75-80 Humidity 45%

Everything is looking real good, if you stick to everything you've got planned out I can't see where you'd go wrong. How do you like veg growth with the CMH? Have you flowered under it at all?

You mentioned CO2, and then talked about intakes and exhausts. Are you running CO2 in a non-sealed room?

bounty,

I have just started the veg growth with the CMH. I'm new to the technology but have definitely heard great things about the spectrum output. I run 600 watt ballasts in flowering and I believe CMH's are currently only rated up to 400 watts. I think Philips is workin on that one though.

About the CO2... I currently am not running any, but that needs to change asap and I need to get a tank fill. I was having concerns about the in/out fans and the CO2 dispersion. I never really had any timers before and would run the CO2 with fans on (big waste).
Being as timer systems are kinda expensive... I was thinking about using 15 min timers for the CO2 and fans. So every hour during light its like CO2 on 15 min, fans off...CO2 off 15 min, fans on...etc.

peace

Alright time for an update...

New to the garden, I have now installed timers to run fans and CO2 cycling every 15 min. Seems to work great so far with high temps climbing around 81F.

Veg Update

The CMH is working wonders in the veg room... the plants continue to stretch up in happiness.

everything looks quite healthy and vigorous
recently selected mothers for next crops clones, take a look...

Sunshine #2 mom

Sweet Tooth mom

Mikado mom

Power House mom

will be veggin these girls out another couple weeks and then a cloning.

thanks papulz, should be a vast improvement also energy saving as fans run half as often and CO2 is conserved.

some more shots at 22 days

Well the stretch phase is almost complete as growing shoots weave and position through the SCROG net. Everything looks to be filling in nicely with buds showing great potential at only 22 days of flowering.

Some updated flower room shots for all waiting...

I just love that overhead shot.
Thanks for looking
