UPDATE: Well, we filled the two remaining buckets today with another Romulan and Bubbakush. One is looking pretty weak from the transport, but should respond well to the new environment. They both had a very healthy root mass coming out the bottom of the rockwool cube. It is EXTREMELY cold in this area right now, so I have turned off the fan until the outside temps level out. The new babies are covered by a plastic baggy and sitting in their final resting spots...

UPDATE: Well is is DAMN cold here still...like -15F with wind chill...like 5F without. I had to turn on the other light in the room just to keep temps up lol. The 1000w over the plants is stationary for the time being - temp turned off the mover. It will most likely stay this way for a week or two...basically until I move them to their final arrangement. Couple of the babies are ready to FIM, so I will be doing that very soon as well.

Well..:joint:..I thought I would post an update before we flush the system and change the nutes. We are on DAY 15 from when they were transplanted into the buckets. They seem to really be loving the light and their atmosphere...I can't wait to see how they respond to a little bit stronger nute mix!!! Anyways...check em out :rasta:

I hear you about trying to keep warm. My room temps seem like they are really dropping when the lights go off..I think I should put a small heater nearby, but am paranoid leaving it on when I'm not there....:smoke:

Those ladies are gonna love the bump in nutrients...mine didn't take off till I did that and gave them that other CMH bulb. I can really see a difference vs the 400 HPS....:D

Thanks, as always. Here...:joint: hit that for a second... Yeah, I would DEFINITELY suggest putting a space heater near your plants; you really don't want the temps dipping too much below 60F if you can help it. Good thing about all new space heaters - they have a temp sensor and a level sensor to prevent anything bad happening. With as much as you're checkin on your grow, I wouldn't worry about it.

UPDATE:
Just flushed the whole system and gave them a new batch of nutes. After PBP Grow, Liquid Karma, Hydroguard, and CalMag the PPM was sitting right around 800ppm.... a little higher than I hoped, but I think they will respond very well. The flushed mixture that hadn't been topped off at all was sitting 250-270ppm - so the plants were really taking in nutes, despite their small root structure! :rasta:

Well...what can I say, I got bored and figured I'd snap some pics lol...ugh I hate this old camera - it's such a piece of shit. New camera is DEFINITELY on my list of things to get; most likely gonna go with a Digital SLR...thinking about the new Canon Rebel XSi. Anyways, here are some shots...enjoy ;-) :rasta: ...on a side noted I also germed two C99 F2 seeds (Joey Weed - C99xC99 from Brothers Grimm)and three Bubblelicious (Nirvana) seeds..... project "new mum's" heh. I really love the C99 and have never grown the Bubblelicious and my partner put the bug in my ear to get more strains going to trade around the patient network. So...here we go lol.

Don't be afraid to use one. They make them very safe now like turn off if turned over and have thermostats I have one in my veg room and in the bud room. My 400 watt light heats the bud room while on but during the night it's got to be on. I actually have my plants on reverse daylight so the light will help give heat during the coldest time of the night. They are also very inexpensive. Good luck

Whats the story about these romulan and bubbakush? I thought they were clone only strains...?

I have a small one that I think I am going to put in there tonight. I am really worried about my cloning area since its not insulated at all and can get really cold. The only thing I have heating them now is the heating pad and the small amount of warmth from the floros....

Yeah, you do not want direct heat; have it blowing away from them as much as possible and your van will circulate the warm air.

I am not sure whether or not you can purchase the commercial seeds for those strains. One of our patients from CA got them as clones and has been working with them for a couple years, and in doing so also harvested a couple seed crops to distribute among the network. I have a rom mom and a bubba mom from these seeds - supplied the clones for this room.

Whats up Man. Babies are looking nice. Crazy how cold it has been around the country lately. My girls have been getting pretty chilly. I have been running my intake fan (bringing warmer air from outside the B room) during the day (I run my lights at night) lately to keep temps above 59 (where is the degree key!!) degrees F. So I guess Im have to purchase a darn heater. Anyone had any luck with a heater from Harbour Freight?? I love that store and havent gone down there yet to check out the selection that the chinese are offering , but you know its gonna be inexpensive (can you say CHEAP) but I figure put it on a couple of cement blocks and leave it. Anyone know?

Back to you Spo: looking lovely, I love the high ceilings you have in there.

where you going skiing?? or boarding whatever you do. I hear the Rocky Mountains are looking soft and lovely.

Heheh...thanks for hanging around.....linger'ers lol...heh. Yes they do!! I am going to Lake Tahoe - we rented a condo on the south end. Probably end up shredding up at Heavenly.... :jump:

Yeah Heavenly is nice. (so I hear, never been, I stay closer to Vail) You board or ski....Or did I miss that??? Either way.....nothing like getting out on the mountain (any mountain) with friends and firing up some of the NICE....We go as often as possible. Everyone on the mountain is Super Chill, and I love the townfolk as well. Always a good vibe. If you ever have the chance you should go to Breckenridge CO ,very nice party spot with chill ass folks.......smoke friendly town.

So Board or Ski??? Good or Ok??? Just wondering...

Yeah definitely!! I board personally - been boarding for about 9-10yrs, and a couple of my friends in the group ski. What about you? I would bet skier if i was a gambling man ;-). Many parts of Colorado are really nice...a good buddy lives in Boulder :joint:.

Spo...or should I say Kenny Rogers (the gambler) yeah yeah Im a skier, was it all the questions that gave it away??? But everyone I go with is a boarder...My dad got me on the skis about 20 years ago and Ive been shredding every since. I tryed snow boarding but it kicked my ass so I said F that.
Much love though for anyone on the slopes. I love the freedom of it, mother nature and all that stuff....
I read the snow report for heavenly all the time, and ya'll get some good snow off of the lake. Have fun.... even though your a knuckle dragger....Ha Ha :muahaha: :laughing: :joint:

Heh...know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em. Nah, wasn't the ?'s...its just I don't know of many boarders that go to Vail lol...hah. =^P I've never tried skiing but I respect it all. I love being on the mountain...gettin away...no matter what's going on in the "real world", its ALWAYS peaceful on the mountain. Mmmm :joint:

On a side note, cleaned up the wiring in the room and mounted shelves for the ballasts. I'll post up pics soon...
