10K Maxibloom

I'm celebrating their 3 week birthday tonight by ordering them a pint of avid. When is the cutoff for application?

They're lookin good, buds are fattening up and crystals are beginning to show. I bent the tallest tops and tucked them into the net. I pulled off most of the upper leaves so that the lower buds can get some light. There's a lot of them.

Humidity is startin to rise, stayin at around 60% but the drizair is workin hard to lower that.

I hit em with 850ppm at 6.5 so hopefully ph issues will be resolved. I think I'll go 9-950 next water. Pics in a few days

Just got done hitten em with 2 gals of azatrol. I'm gotta do everything I can to hit this 10 mark. You guys got any products to recommend for yield increase? I was thinkin CannaBoost.

Looking good cannascholar, love the space you have there. Gonna grab myself a seat here and watch the show ;)

I use maxibloom as well, and the yield seems just fine w/o a bloom booster :joint:

You said that the temps were high. Honestly people focus way too much on additives that do nothing to very little. People choose to do this out of either two things: ignorance or laziness. Dialing in your environment is often more difficult and more expensive but it is almost always the issue that needs addressing. Dialing in your environment will increase your yields way way more than any product you will buy, period. Additionally, once you dial in your environment, those additives that are currently doing little to nothings might actually perform once they are no longer fettered by non-idyllic conditions.

If possible get the ballasts out of your room. They generate a bunch of heat and there is no reason that they need to be in there. Also I don't know what kind of floor you have in the big room but if it's carpet like in the veg area I would take that up if possible. Concrete = heat sink plus carpet harbors bacteria, mold and fungus quite well.

It also sounds like you already have a handful of (supplementary) products anyways. I'm sure your plants are already getting the nutes they need. Frankly, I would recommend cutting back. Also remember about flushing and if you have any organic products, insoluble nutrients that will remain in the soil (unflushable) until processed by the herd. Specifically I would cut back on your P too. A lot of flower boosters involve P spikes but it turns out cannabis doesn't need nearly as much P as originally thought. The only product I recommend you buy is blackstrap molasses; it's cheap, organic, and very beneficial in several different key areas. Also it works for any setup I can think of except for aeroponics. Whatever you do, please don't buy any AN products. Their products are fine but there is nothing to merit the huge price increase and we shouldn't support skeevy business tactics (purposely leaving out key things in products so you have to buy the whole line, paying for ridiculous 'research' and spending millions in marketing instead of R&D or something).

All in all though the room really does look good. Relatively healthy plants for sure and it looks like you are managing the project quite nicely and that is saying something given the size.

Luckily I'm blessed with a concrete slab. I bought pond liner made by Firestone, great stuff.

Yea those ballasts are puttin off loads of heat, unfortunately the cords aren't long enough to allow me to put em in the hallway. I have been opening windows and the door to the garage to allow a draft of cold air to enter the house. My sentinel says that the temps are around 86 but I'm sure they are higher by the ballast and dehum. From what I understand, the master can handle a little higher temps but still. I'm gonna tape up the magnum hoods a bit and do the best I can to straighten kinks in the ducting. The air flow through the hoods seems rather low.

Rooted, do you advise against chemical pesticides in general or just this much into flower?
I don't like the idea of smoking even trace amounts of the stuff but the pop is growing. I counted 5 on one leaf. I hope this azatrol is worth a shit, I'm gonna spray again this weekend.

Maybe I'll scrounge up some paper and replace a few mags with quantums. I know a distributor and can get them for 250 a piece and cheaper in quantity. Great company.
Also does that can seem big enough for the room? I saw rez's tek with ona gel and it looked like a go, can anyone vouch for this?

Threw some more fans in there. Fixing that bad ducting tonight.. doing away with the 'y' and connecting them with a straight piece of pipe.

Lights off pic, the lens was a bit foggy but so was the room..75% in there. Also I noticed a good bit of pistils turning orange, is this normal at three weeks?

Another all nighter pulled taking care of the plants. I pulled a ton of mite damaged leafs off, had to pull a few tops as well.. the master doesn't like being bent. I got the can filter exhaust blowin at the wall and it bounces under the canopy. Fixing the ducting never felt so good, the plants think so as well as it seems to have helped with temp. The mites are angering me I need to get rid of the fuckers..bombs, continue with azatrol, co2, sm90, what do ya'll suggest? I've ruled the avid out as it seems to be a good bit more toxic then floramite..speaking of which, is it early enough for floramite?

Just fixed some light leaks by the ac..they weren't too bad as I didn't notice them before..hopefully everything will be alright.

I'm gonna with azatrol in my rez and touch them up with floramite tonight..from what I understand it biodegrades in a month so all will be well.

Also the humidity, I'm at 70% overnight. I happen to have another ac, 18ish btu, that's also made by LG. It has a dry function on it. I have a door boarded up and was wondering if I could stick it there.. with a 55gal tub in the hallway to collect the water. Any suggestions/input appreciated.

Avid is systemic for 45-55 days I believe from time of contact. Dont spray/dip anytime if your going to harvest within 45-55 days..and even then I'd be worried about it.

AVID is best used as a DUNK directly after rooting... shouldn't need it again.

Give Bloombastic a try! The shit works! 1ml per Gal starting at flower set - increasing to 2ml per Gal week 4 through flush. I've never before had to tie up colas this early in the cycle.

Those who think its expensive must not be able to do math.

Maxibloom + Bloombastic for the win.

Using the 2nd AC as a dehumidifier should work well. Leave fan speed on LOW.

i have ran a 10000btu ac with the ass outside the room as a dehuey. worked great. i had about 10 gallons every 12 hours of runoff from the ac alone.. youll quickly get tired of emptying it so build up a funnel on a stand under the a/c drain with a hose to a floor drain... if possible of course :)

you gotta get that humidity in check asap thou cause its already affecting the final #'s. the products will be fluffy with less vigour overall.. along with the possiblity of mould and budrot... causing even more loss..

everything not done perfectly, steals from your harvest... and your stealing from yourself

hope u hit the 10 mark. ill keep an eye on your progress

Just sprayed with 4 gallons of floramite doing my best to get under the leaves. I will add azatrol to the rez as it is systemic. Lowered the temp to 83 on the sentinel in hopes of bringing humidity down more. That seems to be my biggest issue. I plan on leafing some more in an effort to lower it in the canopy. The AC in the hallway is going to be set up soon it will only run at night for now because my panel is old and runs the risk of heating/melting according to my electrician. My 200 amp upgrade should come through within a week or two so eventually it can be run while the lights are on.

Other then the humidity issue, things are looking good. The mites will hopefully be kept under control, I plan on doing a bomb in a few days. These mites must be strong, I have sprayed ovation sc along with floramite twice in the past. Not looking forward to watering.. I'm gonna tidy up in there as it could really make a difference.

Got the humidity down to the 50's at night. Not likin the extra window unit so gonna buy a fridgidaire 70 pint. Temps down to 85, 75 at night.

Had to pull off some budsite leaves..the canopy is gettin thicker then oprah, hopefully it won't affect yield too much. Smell is startin to come on strong for the purp, sweet smelling 3 leaf clover flowers. Master smells like bubble gum.

I got a handheld sprayer because the wand isn't good for my space restrictions. It's nice because you can set it to spray a stream which is helpful for gettin under the canopy. I'm gonna throw some azatrol, big bud, hyrgrozyme, humic, dunk, and roots excel in my rez tonight.

I'm sure the mites will return so maybe I'll spray floramite again..they're comin up on their 4th week Tuesday. Pyrethium bombs will probably be implemented as well.

Also entertaining the idea of an alarm system, one that doesn't call the ppl but simply scares the robber off and hopefully gets chased and chewed up by my dogs in the process. :joint:

Yea I'm gettin around to it, gotta lotta shit goin on ya know.. Lame excuse, the amount of time I've spent untangling and bending over to dodge those wires far surpasses what it would take to fix it. So with zipties and eye hooks equipped, I'm gonna fix em up tonight and maybe take some pics.

lil update for ya'll

Weak 4x8, most of the plants are showin orange spots at the top suspected ph issue.. I dropped it from its normal 6.5 to 6.0 ppm floatin around 750.. week 5 on tues. Also some are lookin bright yellow on the top. I used a lil sm90 and it seemed to burn the leaves a bit.. A few probs but overall ok, nice is startin to take on some purple :joint: and the master is doin aight. Oh and I have only been able to find one mite sooo keepin my fingers crossed.

Got the next generation chillin in 3gal smart pots with roots soil..Lavender hates being topped.

Had a natural gas leak that had been goin for a while that I didn't notice til I spilt my hood exhaust to two 8's. Made me pale as fuck and quite intoxicated for a day til I realized something was up. Plants had to go without co2 but did fine with some hood intake and exhausting out the door..gotta love growing.
