Veg space is finally on point. Had a hiccup early on that seemed to stunt them. I absolutely hate that grodan stopped making their normal silver blocks. Pargro or their “improved” both hold way too much water. Timing their earliest flood is tough to do and top feeding individually is a must at first. I used to be able to go from cloner to blocks and set a timer to flood once a day with the silver ones. No problems ever. If you tried that with their current products you would be overwatered so fast. Anyway, it will be ready in about 10 days to flower. Ill allow the flower space to go a little longer this time.

Flower is really huge. Im not sure if ill get more than last time but it will be close if not more.

The above tray is mostly truffle. This fucker is full.

Above here is a mix of a lot of stuff. Decently full tray, some super huge testers in here. Karmas odb needed more food towards the middle there.

This tray looks insanely full but the structure is off for this strain. Its all Raskals Og and normally the buds arent this huge and poofy. It does smell amazing and is icy its just more loose than normal, im blaming the K supplement.

White truffle is our clear leader in this room. It just likes the intense light and our feed. Shes a stunner in every way.

Our new testers from our own genetics im excited about, pheno 1, monster yield, purpy gas nose and very sticky

Pheno 2
More ice than pheno 1, stouter, denser structure with more foxtailing. Excited to see them both finish. Their terps are wild.

Next run i will be upping our overall feed. Im also going to slow down our increase in ppfd over the course of 5-6 weeks instead of full cranking within 4 weeks. Some strains responded well to the K bump but i think i need to add nitrogen boost in conjunction and start the K supplement earlier. Also need to address the leaf curl, only seems to impact some strains and its mainly whats closest to the fixtures, i think its just from high ppfd. Its certainly not temps as their leaf surface temps saw a span of about 78 degrees to 72-71. Progress though!

Overall im concerned about how some stuff turned out. Some of this run clearly benefitted from the K booster early on. But i see more foxtailing in our structure than ever before. Its the only addition to our program. This next run, im just going to up the base feed pretty dramatically(about a 10-20% bump in EC). With a few strains ill add some K booster as well for the first few weeks but at a lower dose than this time. Overall i still think we may have pulled more this run. Well see, harvest took longer and getting it filled again will take even longer. Busy is an understatement.

Having seen the low K in your tissue sample lab report, you increased it in the feed. There was no further testing though, to really judge the quantity of that increase. There was also Ca that might be considered as high, that could perhaps be lowered, to help the K intake. For years I used a feed high in K, both in the flower and bloom bottles. It was a good feed (I'm going back to it) and it's high K and lower Ca from early on, suggests you could bring the K bump earlier. Though I failed to see what aqua flakes really contain, so my hands are tied, regarding how it might be supplemented.
I did once ask what you boosted K with, and the answer suggested you misheard me. You may wish to check your bottles.

The rolling leaves look over worked, but backing off to save a few, has the net effect of less light on everything. I'm not fond of seeing it, but it's not the end of the world. Perhaps with better water regulation the plants can keep a few more of them in good order. Both lower Ca and higher K will work towards this. As would higher RH or less air movement. Which are less attractive propositions. Or it could be as simple as watering frequency, though I doubt it with your experience.

Buds look good. It will be interesting to see how your altered approach to feeding plays out. Hopefully you can share some more lab reports with us, as you dial this in further.

I do love a good lab report :)

Oh dont you worry my friend there will be more tissue testing for sure. I also already planned to lower the cal as well. Im hoping that upping the base feed will bring the N and K up to where they should be without the supplement i used which was NPK industries Raw Potassium in powder form, my apologies if i missed that question earlier. As for the leaf roll, im having a hard time understanding its cause. I always have VPD in check and i do not let them dry back hard at all. Those slabs hold water very well and i irrigate at least once if not twice daily. My gut tells me its light intensity because it shows really only on top fan leaves and even as you move down 6-8inches into the canopy there isnt any curl. Of course when you try to research the reason for it theres one million answers people will say it happens. In this case we can rule out RH, irrigation and wind as a cause. If nutrition imbalance can do it, thats a possible reason as well as too high of ppfd.

It still looks so shiny and new :)

I found some you might be able to trial.
If anyone else has any thoughts on those, direct them to the right thread. This one is ticking along nicely :)

Im certainly open to the idea depending on how much energy we’re talking, I'm very near or completely maxed out for the space.

Glad the room seems super happy with their feed increase. Ive also kept things dimmer, rh higher and barely supplemented cal mag.

Last run weighed in at 31 units untrimmed. Well likely get about 26. A nice bump. Shooting for 30 trimmed each run from this space once we have it all dialed.

It's difficult to picture 31 untrimmed units, without having a Beavis and Buthead moment. Hopefully a grams per meter figure is in my future somewhere :)

The gain from auxiliary lighting might be similar in grams per watt, to lighting from above. It should be a little better though. Which is why the latest trails have been moving light from above, to below.
It might be more realistic to gain a bit of power, than move it. If your veg was 18/6 and off during your 12 hours of flowering, you could get a few umol for them 6 hours. The results are real. If you have any sort of spare light to shove in a corner, I eagerly suggest you give it a run. It's not a UV trial, it's real bud per watt returns. It could be a slippery slope to dividing your room, for alternate 12/12, after seeing 30% more is realistic. Or even battery banks, charged in the night. Power can be found, when you really want it.

Rather explosive growth here. Raging to be honest. Ive kept rh a touch higher along w the higher base feed they are going nuts. Some of the plants are lifting themselves up out of the slabs they are rooting so much. Its putting upward pressure on the trellis. Pretty wild and healthy canopy here. This is day 7.

What's the message here, that it's strong enough to lift the net? Genuinely asking, never used these nets so don't really know about the tensity of the string..
They are rooting so much that the blocks are starting to elevate themselves upward, putting pressure onto the trellis in an unusual way. Typically plant material is weighing the trellis down because its heavy and, well, gravity. In this case they are seemingly trying to bust through it in some spots.

Oh wow that's wild.

This variety should not be hard to clone. :D
