Are you just using fresh air for cooling or will there be an AC setup in there? If you use the exhaust to cool the closet, you're gonna go through CO2 like crazy.

Like to see what that can do when built....awesome bandan, and what about some supplemental UVB tubes to create some truly psychodelic bud (don't have them on when you tend yer plants ). There's a Thread somewhere on this forum that explains how to grow with extra UVB, and if money is of no object you could create a perfect environment to grow hullucinegenic bud. Plenty of info on the net about this method as well, it's like growing high altitude plants which are always stronger than of the same strain grown at lower altitude.Hey I'm getting way out of my depth.....must remember not to post when high.... :joint:

a house. all joking aside thats a lot to have in such a small space. If you want to save money scratch the CO2, carbon scrubber, and make your own 9 buckey system. Thats if you want to spend less and maybe the controllers. There is a lot things there a lot of people dony use on 4 times the size grows. Im just wondering dimensions on the closet. and the ez cloner. Spend the extra money on a bigger place.

MTF-Sandman: im going to try to get away with the vortex pulling thru the 8" hood into my scrubber!! we will see.. the closet is 8' tall... and with CO2 enrichment 95*F is a good temp so im shooting for 90-95F..

closet funk: you know how some people blow money on a new crate engine for a car or how women buy prada purses...well this is my hobby!! and the money I save on buying MJ will pay off...I spend $300 easily a month on marijuana!!!

ogrefugee: im price matching all the local hydro stores as we speak...i have family over so I cant start this project for another 2 weeks but the clones are almost ready!!

stash: sound like a experiment...but I want as few variables as possible...

time2unite: no ac...wont have juice to run one.. might get a SMALL one.. the room will be sealed..

diego: i dont want to build anything... I have the money dont need to skimp...the closet is 5x5x7.. as far as getting another place...no go...stuck with what I have...so im going to over do it!

I dont like FF but thats just me. Lots of people use it with great success. Guess im just a stubborn Pure Blend grower.

if your lights are always cooling your co2 will just dissapear before it can be used. its a waste imo. ive tried and belive me the difference is like night and day...

You will absolutely need AC. Don't bother starting without it.

I would switch the EZcloner for a GH rainforest 236. No sprayers, no pumps, super fast rooting aero.

if you have unlimited or un metered water you could try a swamp cooler, water chilled a/c, no exhaust

ive looked into swamp coolers...problem is they dont work where its humid...so I would still have to run a dehumidifier.... im planning on running a combination a Dehumidifier/AC and recycling the water back into my rez....

Hi bandan...yeah my last post was a bit far out, but if heat is gonna be an issue try some heat resiliant strains. The best seed company for that is Mandala seeds, you can get them from SB. Apparantly they can grow and flower in temps as high as 50 degrees or 120F, due to the landrace genetics in them they can cope with extemes very well, whilst keeping their hybrid vigour.....Mandala grows this way most of the time....just a thought...Stash

the minute the family leaves...im going to throw the 1000w in the closet and run it all day and see how hot it will get...I might just do 12/12 during the night so it will cool it off.. 120F thats hard to belive but im not saying its not true!!

If you're going to run CO2, cool the light via a closed system (fresh air from another room and exhaust out the roof) and use an AC to keep the room temps in check. If you seal it well enough, it'll make the CO2 MUCH more efficient and you won't have to worry about odor coming out the exhaust. You can run a smallish fan on the scrubber so that it just recirculates the grow room air through it to keep odors down in the room. Plus you won't have to worry about bugs coming in through the intake to the room...
