The VOLCANO Thread

I feel like there should be a place on this site for volcano owners to talk about this expensive/ awesome tool. So lets make this thread THAT place.....

Does anyone know of a way to water filter your vapor? I was thinking if they made a whip for the volcano then i could get that and a bell piece for my bong and I would be in business.....

BTW i dont like to turn the heat above 6..... what about yall?

I use 6.5-7.5 for my heat. If i want to water filter a bag I use my bong and put the Volcano mouthpiece up to the downtube on the bong, push and inhale. :bongsmi:

I don't own a volcano, but the smoke lounge that used to be in my city had one on the go all day.

Free puffs for the regulars - so smooth and mild I never even thought about water...

Like breathing hash air.

i always use 5.5 very rarely 6 above 6 it starts to taste like popcorn to me at 5.5 i really taste the smell of the weed

love my volcano but i raelly would like some water cooling. actually thinking of getting a verdamper instead. if the volcano had water cooling it would be the perfect vaporizer.

i totally agree , the verdamper is the best i tried , but me , glass objects and weed dont mix

breaking a bong sucks but breaking a 400 euro vape is not a joke

hey awesome since you have experience with them both:
you think verdamper is better than the volcano?
my problem with the volcano is the vapor can be a bit harsh and my valve unit is so dirty i cant even clean it properly with isopropyl alcohol, causing weed to get into the balloon.

i think that problem does not exist with water cooling, would like to know your opinion on this?

I absolutely love my Volcano, I have had it for 3 years and its still running strong. I personally like to run bud through once at 4.5-5, and then finish with a 5.5-6. I avoid the burnt popcorn taste and save the duff to make cannabutter at a later time.

Here is one thing I learned the hard way though... If you get some really sticky icky, and use the thing a lot, make sure to clear the valve often. I got lazy and didn't clean it for a while and the filling chamber actually got so sticky it seized up and could not be unscrewed without breaking the chamber, which cost me $50 to replace

i start at 5.5, then second bag at 6, then last hurray at 6.5 . the first tasting the best. second ok, and the last one not so great but still does the job.
then into a glass jar to collect for butter.

true i havent cleaned my valve for like 2 years and now its basically uncleanable lol

i put it in a glass jar too and vape it again when times are bad like right now

371 degrees all day long baby! Digi Volcano is king of the hill, top of the heap....cream of the crop. Couldn't live without her.

Rumor has it that there IS some sort of whip attachment for a Volcano.....I've yet to actually see it....

Tried this last night and it definitly works! a little bit of a pain in the butt. Like KUSHMASTER was saying...... ice chilled before it hits the lungs would be perfect.

Accessdnx- That would be sick if they came out with a whip..... ive definitly googled the shit out of it and found nothing

If you have an adjustable temperature control why in the world would you want to bubble the vapor through cold water?

In the process of cooling the vapor I am sure that the vapor condenses and ends up in the water, and not in your lungs. Studies have shown this.

You can already adjust the temperature so that it is as cool as it can possibly be and still actually carry vapor. Just makes no sense to me to try to cool it further.

Stoners do love to complicate things.

And while we are talking about unnecessary complications, let's talk about unnecessary expenses: The Arizer Extreme line of table-top vapes outperforms the volcano alllll day for about half the price.

well like i said because all kind of crap goes through the sieve into the balloon.
the vapor can be very irritating for the lungs, especially if you use daily and vape alot. i had friends with volcanos tell me this too. i think water cooling/filtering would help alot with that. so in theory the verdamper should be better but i never tried it.

btw its not only me saying that but i see alot of ppl demanding that feature for the volcano. storz bickel could propably make a killing if they implemented it. then again they propably make enough money as it is lol

I suppose if you wanna spend extra money to use your vaporizer incorrectly, that's your business. Not you personally... just you all.

I think that the problem is that people buy vapes, and don't see any smoke, and don't cough. They figure they must not be getting high, so they turn the fucker up as far as they can, and make a big thick cloud. Awesome... it's just like smoking now! Hmm but it makes me cough

What can i do? I know I will bubble the vapor that is too thick thru water! That will make it easier for me to inhale! But their stoned logic is flawed.

Just use the vape like it's supposed to be used, dammit!

PS: I have been using my Arizer Extreme for almost 3 years now, and I have never seen any foreign object in my bags, or my whips. Is this another inherent problem with the Volcano?

i like the Verdamper but you cannot get the temp control that you get with a thermostatically controlled vape. The harder you suck on it the hotter it burns-i've done it-i'd love one but would break it instantly-look at the state of the Volcano

i start off sativas @ 310F and go up to 340F.

indicas and kushes start at 330F and go up to 360F.

Digital Volcano here

I keep 2 bags going at a time for myself. Cant beat that taste and german quality!

you can avoid this and the irritating vapor by cleaning you parts weekly and replacing the balloon every 2-3 weeks

if i dont clean it for a week, i notice it takes much longer for the balloon to fill and the taste is not so good

once all parts cleaned and with a new balloon it is awesome
