Indoor Thai Haze - 1 pound monster !

I thought i would try and start a short thread for some feedback about this sativa.

Im looking for some advice on when to harvest this plant.

About 3 quarters of the plant has over half the pistils brown but the top part of the plant still looks like it need a couple of weeks.

Any constructive input is appreciated, or any questions or put up your own pics !

u should take a little snippit, make a blanky for it out of tin foil and put it on a warm spot near ur reflector, tell us how it is! she looks like she could use 2 more weeks or more... just watch for bud browning

The first picture is about 5 days old but its a good pic to show the structure of the plant.

Im hoping that someone may have grown it before and have some ideas of things to look for to get the most out of the plant. I am fairly confident with indica's and hybrids etc but a bit unsure about the haze X's.

The lower branches look ready, the middle branches are close but the very top is mainly white. I have the same thing going on with a Skunk x Haze which is about the same age and size but not as compact.

On the very bottom branches of the skunk x haze the buds that looked ready have new growth (fresh white pistils)

These plants are causing havoc in the flower room I need them out asap but have come to far with them to not get max value.

:) I havent tried this bud yet but when I do ill post the info.

Skunk x Haze buds

Heres a picture of the lower branches of the skunk x haze, I am tempted to take the branches but i dont want it to delay the plant being ready overall .

awsome how long has she been flowering for?
id leve it a cple more weeks max

Im getting some really nice crystals on the skunk x haze it looks really sweet. Im tempted to smoke it but am smoking a Satori atm which was a weird looking plant but its getting me very stoned.

Were I am from people dont really get to see or smoke much sativa buds to them it looks like bush weed.

I dont know why I bother, but I have read a lot about good sativa high, I had to try it.

Ive heard that to a few times, but what I have noticed is that if you trim some branches in flower sometimes you will get some new freaky growth at the top of the plant as well.

I must admit my confidence in predominately sativas is low after growing a bad batch of seeds once.

Anyone have any ideas of what sort of high to expect from this strain? I need some motivation to keep it flowering.

Hazes take forever to flower. The Original haze x skunk #1 can go up to 16 weeks. I would assume the thai would be similar. The longer you let those hazes go the more psychedelic they get :)

Im pretty sure that the skunk x haze is the one your talking about, it was a freebie from these guys. Heres whats on their site, I hope they dont mind but it gives the reader a idea of the strain.

Sacred Seeds created the original Haze in the late 1970s. The Skunk x Haze hybrid, combines the excellent effect and taste of Original Haze with the increased yield & shorter flowering period of Skunk No. 1. It has a fruity, sweet taste with an energetic effect.
Genetics: Skunk No. 1 x Original Haze AKA: "Fuma Con Diablos"
Variety: Mostly sativa (87.5%)
Type: F1 Hybrid
Harvest Date: November
THC Content: 20%-22%
Characteristics: Excellent high and taste

I am also after some quality info about the Thai haze but were I got I got freebies from the site doesnt provide any info on the strain or breeder.

Thats whats got me thinking because some of the older buds are nearly all brown hairs, its like which part of the plant should use to decide when its ready. I am sort of thinking that if the plant is still alive then even though the pistils are mainly brown on a branch the flowers will still get more resin. But I am also concerned that the quality on some sections of the plant may deteriorate while the top matures.

If they get over mature the smell changes noticibly on that part of the plant.
I had this with some big hawian sats under lights in big pots of perlite i fed potasium sulphate to them and the lower leaves paled to lemon yellow and it finished quickly.
How much nitrogen is in the feed ?A

I started them off under a 400w normal globe (cant remember the name now) and then used a 600w sodium etc

Because i have some shorter plants in the room I was able to get a lot of additional light on the lower branches through the flowering.
