I thought I would start a thread for my BubbleBaggin adventures in the right forum..I say adventures...Today I'm doing the 2nd and a half run...I'm gonna try to get more pics this time..

Feel free to post any techniques or pics or whatever about makin hash..

My first run was with some wispy sativa that made some very nice hash mostly from the 45 screen...I think the only mistake I made was missing the 25 pressing screen in the storage bag..some of the smaller stuff got stuck in the 45..

So I'll post the pics from the first run now and the second a little later

Thanks guys ...that was from near the end of my last grow...I think I might have a little less but higher quality stock to start from this time...was gonna do it tonight..got the bags on the bucket and all the ice, frozen weed and cold water I need..just ran out of time..I have to be up very early for work..and I wanted to take lots of pics...hopefully tomorrow or so...

GMT..sorry about the big pics..I only have a 19" Monitor but everything in this computer is kick ass..I run a high resolution for the desktop 1280x960...I forget dial-uppers have to deal with those big pics..I just hate all the clicking..I wanna see the pic now..without clicking..maybe as a comprimise I can post some in "-med"..

Hi Pack, It's not the size of the pics so much or even the file size, as I don't mind waiting tooooo much. It's all this scrolling left and right to read the ends of each line. By the time I've scrollled left, I have forgotten which line I'm reading and re-read the same one again. The furthest right image sets the screen boundaries, so as a little favour to those of us with small screens, or large writing, could you try to make the right hand images a little more to the left?

Thanks for being patient with this...Okay the plan is to start the process tomorrow night
..then I'm going to let it sit over night
..I read on Tha Oil Baron's thread about letting it sit overnight..then finish in the morning..I'll give it a shot...maybe get more this time..

it should b mentioned, he's a light sleeper and keeps the apt pretty cold,

the baron isn't sure what temp. is preferable, but he thinks you want to pull the bag's while the water is still really cold but all the ice is totally melted, and you can tell by stirring the water and no ice surfaces.

Okay didn't start last night but I did today..
I'll try to post pics as I move though the process and have wait times..
First I use a 7 bag system meshes 220, 190, 160, 120, 73, 45, 25...
All in the same bucket..some like to use a bag in different bucket and pour through one than the other...
This will be with dried trim and some wispy bud stock frozen about 25 grams..
Trim is sativa unknown..suspect Cinderella 99..as a friend reminded me he gave me some seeds of it..
A little BubbleDust trim..very little..
I like the idea of the tiered method using all bags at once for settling reasons..
In another bucket I make a bucket of ice water...
Then pour the ice water into the bag bucket..straining most of the ice for now...
I'm not using distilled water just refrigerated filtered tap
and ice from the ice maker that I accumulate over a couple of days,
enough to fill a 5 gal bucket...
I fill the bucket till it is above the "workin bag" screen a couple of inches..
Put in the frozen weed then top with ice and top-off with ice water..

As you can see from the last pic on the last post...
the beaters on my mixer are wisp like..they get bent a little but are more bag friendly...
as I did get the bag caught a little at the big seam..no damage thank god..spun the mix for about 20 mins...
Kept the water level pretty high, cause I'm lazy and like to rest the tail end of the mixer on the edge of the bucket..
So now it's wait time...wait until it settles and the ice melts..then I'll pull the 220 bag and save the mix...
in an ice water bucket and maybe run it again tomorrow..using only 4 screens..
now what to do in the mean time..ahhh yes! shoot some bud porn for my other thread...

Hey Oil Baron..whats up! ...I'm just using an old 99' Olympus 3030 Zoom fixed lens..
In it's day it was one of the best fixed lens camera's around...
I mostly operate the camera in manual mode..adjusting f-stop, ISO, shutter speed and focus
I shoot pic's at the highest resolution the camera can do, 3.3MP TIFF (Tag Image File Format)..
I convert to jpg and resize using an ACDsee photo editor..I've been trying to get a new professional SLR..
but I have bigger fish to fry before that happens...

Okay I'm to the cardboard stage right now..but I'm gonna post the screen pics now..
These are the pics from each screen surface...using the cold bubble water with a cup.
You can pour water on the screen, and direct the glands into a pile..
this also releases glands stuck the bottom back into the bucket and on to the next screen
I pull the bag up but leave it still rolled over the edge and keep the screen just hovering over the water..
then manipulate it with the bubble water...spoon it...manipulate...spoon..
When I've got all I can get..I rinse the spoon in the water for the next screen..
I rinse the bag out in the bath tub with cold water only..some stray glands might be on the bag walls..
so keep that spoon handy..

Time to put the bounty on the pressing screens...
I closed up the screen and put books on top for abot 6 hrs..I think I like just letting it dry a little,
then breaking it up on cardboard..less seems to get stuck to the press screen that way..
Well I was hoping to get more..but I guess it's about right...
