Oldtimer's Haze

Hola de nuevo :tiphat:

Today i was cleaning the tents and some white flies showed up, had to spray the plants with neem oil, the highest dose. I'm going to repeat this on sunday with a lighter dose. These bastards always come back, specially for Destroyer.

The Oldtimer's Haze was watered 31 of Oct, no fertilizer, and today she was showing some strange color in a couple of leaves. I hope you can help me to find out what's the problem.

I was smelling the plants for a little while and i was wondering, ¿do you think males have a special odor compared to the females when they're starting to flower?

Hope all of you are doing well hermanos!

My super tall Phaze and the zamaldelica might be root bound as they are yellowing and pale green. Haze is exhibiting rusty spots too.

I am a hydro dude trying to get back to my roots.....I think you should check your plants to see if they are starting to get root bound. Sativa's roots systems grow extremely fast so up potting is necessary. Could also be a Ph issue. I think mine are root bound though as I top dressed with dolomite lime for ph already before.

Let your soil dry a a bit more than the top 2 inches, press in on the sides of your container good and hard. Turn the pot at a 90 degree angle and gently pull on the lowest part of the trunk or base of the plant next to the soil and remove it enough to see if the roots are bound around the outside of the soil?? Report back with a pic check your tallest phenotype first. If they are pretty bad you will want to go ahead and up pot to a little bit bigger container with a little more soil. Once you see the plants stop stretching it is good to up pot to a larger container so you won't have to water as often allowing the plant a better more stable consistent amount of water and allowing more time for you between watering.

Hola LostTribe!

Thank you for helping me :)

I have recognized what's the problem, it's not root bound yet , the leaves are with grey dark spots, P deficiency. Big Bud powder with Ph Perfect was used today to water, AN recomended dose. I'm going to put some pictures tomorrow, it's streching a lot.

Mine seem to have completed stretch already so I am thinking about up potting again as I am in about .8 gallons of soil for each and only have 3 females in total but plan to add a couple Cinderella 99 to the tent as I have plenty of room in there once the other 2 males are removed. I think I am gonna leave the 1 keeper male in the corner until he starts to drop pollen and then just pull him.

You even have AN down there? I'd recommend botanicare and earth juice personally never been a fan of the whole AN Bullshit. You don't need 100 $50 bottles of BS to grow great pot. Use what you bought thought as not to waste. I have the entire botanicare line and have run it for years. I do have some maxi bloom and maxigro for mom's.

I am running these soil ones in pure organics though.

I bought AN Big Bud powder on Amazon, Overdrive i found it in Colombia, i'm not interested in more AN products, and i totally understand your point hermano, but there's no guano in my town. I'm gonna flush the girls before harvest. The Destroyer is a female, root bounded, i'm going to transplant this two really soon. Hope they don't stretch too much
I know, i'm in a big trouble
I don't know how to create my own thread so i'm just going to keep posting my grow here, hope not to disturb colegas
I' going to try to take a clone from the OTH.

I know what you mean if you do grab guano search for sun leaves mexican and indonesian maybe some peruvian. Peruvian is higher in Nitrogen though but a little won't hurt you need some. I searched amazon and they do sell sun leaves guanos there maybe the 2.2 lbs would be right for your size.

I transplanted the Purple Haze #5 today to a 12 inch pot with 40/40/20 of Oceans Forest/Peat Moss/perlite. PH#5 has fantastic structure and I am very happy with its growth so far. Starting to get more hairs popping out too.

Good day all!

luminous, you are right. There are extreme tropical expressions inside haze line (5-10%) that refused to flower like her sisters or lacked completly of vigour or adaptability. Of course, we didn't use this kind of parental plants for our reproductions but sometimes similar expressions can pop.

What haze line are you growing? How is purple and green phenotype ratio?

Best wishes for end of flowering. Patience, observing and constant work are best virtues of the farmer.

Hello highlighter and ker2noir! I'm sure, one day you'll enjoy Oldtimer's haze!
I'm curious to hear your opinions.

re the non flowering..i have seen thathappen in more than a few pure sativas..

has it been mentioned here to use 10 hrs on..?

that is my thing now for

long flower sativas..

love yer stuff dubi..though i find do have to search through the

"sativa names "to find sativas that are not adulterated by an indica..

all the best

Hi Rgd!

I asked Dubi if it was possible to reduce one hour of light every month, he answered me that it's better to keep her in 11/13 and in the last weeks (the last month of flowering i think) to give her 10/14, no less than 10 hours of light.

She needs a lot of P in early flowering. I'll be back tomorrow with some pictures. Early today i had to do some super cropping to a couple of leaves, they were covering some bud spots haha

Sorry for my limited english again

See you all tomorrow :tiphat:

Good day everybody! :tiphat:

Here's the update, 14 days of 11/13, she's fine i guess, the P deficiency is controlled, 9 inches tall, i think i'm going to keep her in that pot until she's lacking some N. I'm really worried beacuse if i put her in the 7 litter pot it might start stretching like crazy. White flies are back, so before the lights goes off i'll use the neem oil

I'm praying for a female haha

Hasta pronto hermanos!

Hola akirabull!

hy lostribe, i think your baby needs a transplant, like i said to sonicnurse92 is better if possible give a fresh good soil instead to give magic cocktail in the feed

Hey Sonic very nifty grow cab :) But it crossed my mind that the bottom should not be a reflecting surface, it's not natural so me thinks :) It's better to be green :D

I just got a new tent and it also has a bottom liner like that.

I imagine that when the plants fully jungle up the tent.

They will block most of the light from hitting the liner anyways.

Yes, but till they do could be beneficial (normal) for the plant :)

It's like in Hi-Fi, every percent of components improvement synergistically contributes to a level up in the whole sound picture.

I use black/white panda film on my floor in my 10'x12' 1k HPS room and get perfect results it won't hurt a a thing. I have flowered plants in one of these tents too with no problems.
