Don't really care about Kyle Kushman

as far as the PURPLE KUSH I have grown for the better part of this decade, and in BC we have a lot of it in the lower mainland...

So if you look in the The CANNABIBLE 1 & 3 you'll find Purple Kush and it is referrenced as a BC and Cali crop and a low yeilder and it look identical to what I have seen hundreds of pounds worth.

So if Mr. Kushman did not give his strain out, there has been a Purple Kush regardless of it for a very long time now.

Maybe we'll never know LVPK's true history or make up. However we do know she is an amazing grower, great yielder, super premium taste, and wonderful high. When done right she is so dense that you can get 2+oz in a quart jar. I'm glad so many ICmagers are getting to know her.

I had a pk cut that looked very similar to the BC cut above but more dark purp (my room is usually cold and turns all purples very dark deep purp though). She was a great plant and some killer smoke. I ran her next to my Purple Indica and couldnt give either one up so I dropped Purple Urkle and kept em both.

Man I gotta get one of those (or both ;) back asap, Im drooling over here.

take care and stay safe

She gets to see more of the world than I do! My guess is the only reason LVPK is spreading around the globe is because she is just that good.

There is no seed company hyping her, and yet she passes hand to hand by growers and seems to take up permanent residence in their gardens.

One of these days I'll have to take a world tour of PK gardens! I am happy to say that I have smoked her from coast to coast with fellow :D

I've got the sr-71 cut and I love it. It's my personal favorite smoke. The only strain I never get tired of smoking... It clones fairly well, vegges slowly. I veg mine for 60 days and they usually wind up about 2.5-3 feet and bushy. Yeilds about average. The buds are rock- hard. You can fit a zip in half sandwich bag. VERY stinky, to the point that it's a problem. I have a huge scrubber and it still can't keep up with the pk. Strong skunk/coffee smell.

lil trick with the purp kush cause mine vegs slowly to unless as soon as roots pop on clones i oput them in 5 gal pots under 1k mh and in 2 to 3 weeks they are ready to flower if you look back a page you can see my pk with a 3 week veg and the size they ended up in flower. i find with most slow vegging strains if you give them a lot of root space from the minute they pop roots they veg alot faster

I don't think thats the BC PK I haven't seen it cola or foxtail like that unless under heat stress. The two bottom purpley plants look more like PK.

It tastes good/looks good and people pay top dollar for it but I get immune and find the stone to be pretty one dimensional, sleep and lethargic. It's also extremely prone to powdery mildew.

Thanks, I am pretty sure the BC cut of purple kush came here via california .. probably a s1 or cross of bubba kush.

The BC PK and the LVPK look like the same cut. Has the BC PK made it to the states? I would love to run them side by side to see. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they were one and the same. I do know that the LVPK has been in Vegas for at least 11 years. There is allot of great PK pic's in this thread. Has anybody ran a PK cut that seems supreme to the LVPK? Peace, pot and karma. I would say they are probably the same cut, lot's of guys from BC go down to vegas to get rid of dirty cash, shit you can get a week long all inclusive to vegas for a couple hundred bucks flying out of vancouver. The PK has only been really popular here for 4 or 5 years.
