Could a Polar bear take a bat to the face?

hey guys, do you think a polar bear could take a bat to the face by a average dude in his 20's or 30's? do you think the bear would just shake it off and merk you or do you think you would knock it out?

Of course I would never do it, but I'm just wondering in case it ever came down to it while I'm playing baseball in the artic, I'd know what to do. those are big animals!

I see no place that you could hit to reliably knock the bear out with a baseball bat..

Maybe you could break its jaw if you caught the protruding part just right, but it would still kill you afterwards hehe.

Yeah, I think a polar bear could take a hit or two. Wouldn't really matter, though. You probably wouldn't live long enough to get much further.

the polar bear would absorb the impact, look at you and think "This muthafucka is tryin to tickle me?" Then proceed to feast on your innards. If you were in a life or death situation, your best bet is to aim for an eye and try to blind it. Even if it doesn't work you still have a chance of the bear taking off.

Dude I think you underestimate polar bear. First, you would prob never even swing the bat since polar bears are WICKED pitchers, so they would completely strike you out. Second if you did manage to make contact, polar bears have naturally tight infields, and are super fast so they would undoubtedly throw you out at first, even if you blooped it to right field.

Seriously dude, if I were going to play a game with polar bears, I would just go for a friendly game of badminton. Baseball with polar bears is suicide.

ive seen a grizz take 4 .357 slugs from 5 feet away in the face and run a mile before she dropped-and a polar bear wipes thier ass with grizz's so......

I can definitely tell you were high when you started this thread LOL. There is no doubt in my mind a polar bear could take a nice slug to the face, but it wouldnt be worth it, thats plan suicide.

Those animals are BIG and freaky HUGH-volkswagon Van size..I saw one Stuffed,Mannnnnnnnnn it was only a Juvenile Bear.

If you managed to swing as fast as humanly possible and as HARD as humanly possible, you might hurt it which could allow you to escape. It probably would shake off the hits much like a professional boxer shaking off a couple slugs to the face by an amateur, but if your scare tactic didn't work it would proceed to destroy you, and your bat wouldn't help at all.
