Mack did have 17 sacks the season before last so theyre hoping he gets back to form, he hasnt been bitten by the injury bug as often as joey bosa has been. Performance incentives would have been a good idea but i think he was contemplating retirement so they needed to bring a strong offer if they wanted to keep him off the couch.

Im surprised the eagles accepted his invite, maybe that's just an nba thing to not go to the white house if trump is prez.

Yknow Trump is an all american president when he's offering popular fast food items to visiting guests, and he eats it himself. I love fast food as much as anyone else, but im not sure how id feel about that. If u were a visiting athlete, would u be ok with being served mcdonalds at the white house, Pops? Or is it In & Out or gtfo?

I think we went over this before, Buzz, about the changes Deion would get the FSU job, back before he took the CO job? Not sure tho. Deion's 1st yr at CO was Norvell's best year at FSU, went undefeated before losing his QB to injury and his future NFL pro's sitting out the bowl game.

Im thinking $5 max per pizza if that includes some expensive meats, more like $2-3 a pie with more standard ingredients. Cheese and sausage are the most expensive but probably not more than $1 of each on each pie.

Im more of a cheese then toppings person when assembling a pie, but i think Buzz like a true pizziolo doesnt cover the entire surface with cheese, he puts it in spots and when it melts it spreads out.

Is the uprooted tree about 40+ years old? Or are those some kind of bramble or brush? Cant imagine the wind force required to drag the roots out of the ground like that.

I guess the nfl salary cap is a pretty complicated thing to understand, the teams have like lawyers and accountants to manage those numbers because they do shenanigans like deferring salary cap hits to future years. I think the Saints are still paying for Drew Brees's salary cap hits now and he's been retired for a few years.

That's an interesting point, the bigger the chef's hat the more senior they are. I think in american restaurants, even the fanciest ones, im not sure the chefs wear hats anymore. Not sure how they keep the hair out of the food but these are tiny dishes that are carefully put together so it's easy to see if there's a hair in there.

Temps dont start getting cold around here till maybe November, although i think we had some snow last Oct. Our winter here is from Dec-Feb, according to the calendar, although we actually had some snow last wk, the first wk of March...

With our age gap that is probably about the last time I had an Ash Wednesday thumb cross my forehead too, @superx. I was also an altar boy but it was back in the days of Latin Mass. Altar wine was available for tasting when the priest was donning his vestments.
One of the parish priests was an incense man. He liked to make some Holy Smoke during Novenas and he piled it on so the censer was bellowing.

The smell of incense won't leave me, I guess we can relate to that terpene.
On a side note, my last grow i had some critical + , it's one of the few strains ive had (or specific pheno) that reeked of that incense, her goodself forbided me from vaping it indoors, it stuck to the furniture and clothes..

i think k.mack can still be productive and it gives the chargirls a piece to build on up front (they have drewin in the back)
they lucked out with lad mcconkey but still need to add to their offense if they want to keep up in the afc.w
they should also build on their d as well but they have some cap space and i hear this should be a d heavy draft
if i went to the white house for dinner i would kind of expect something more than some chicken nuggies, but it would also be a cool thing as well
that spread was not some stuffy sit down meal where you are wondering which of the forks you should be using for what and i could smash on some filet of fish right now
in n out would be nice, but an even better step up would be to have the hot shit burger joint in dc cater the shindig! it would be fun fresh local food plus it would be a big feather for the restaurant to have delivered to the white house
i think a good homemade pie will still use $10 worth of ingredients, but you are using quality ingredients

That's a new one for me so the Google tells me it's a beach resort. That salty sea air got the priests all frisky. LOL
I think we divided the duties between bell ringer and cruet bearer for water and wine. Each priest had his preferred ratio of water to wine. I liked the incense. I have a Sunshine Daydream cut that I have kept for many years because when it spends time in a jar it smells like Nag Champa incense.

So summer mosely is like summer camp, Superx? That's interesting. Summer camp is popular for kids in America too, ive never been to one tho. There are some christian oriented ones but for the most part i think theyre secular. Ive never been one for camping or roughing it so i dont regret not going but it does seem fun, in the woods with a bunch of kids ur age and no parents around.

I dont think ive ever come across a cannabis plant whose smell reminded me of incense, but i guess Pops has seen some hazes that smell like sandalwood, and Buzz had one that after curing smelled like sandalwood too? I do love a good haze but never grew one.

Joey bosa signed a 1yr, 12M deal with Buffalo so i guess he's not playing with his lil bro after all, maybe the niners didnt offer him enough. Von miller was too often injured to solve their pass rushing issues, not sure if joey is that guy since he's missed almost half the games the past 3 seasons.

Chicago has a South side Irish parade on Sunday, and a lot of the irish residents will be taking Monday off to rest and recuperate. Like Superx said, much eating and drinking (of guinness and whiskey) will be done. Actually, im not sure if chicago irish people drink a lot of guinness, they probably drink a lot of everything else tho.

Post some pics of the parade if u get a chance, Superx, im wondering if there's a lot of outlandish characters, weird outfits, etc. Maybe the little guy will be there, stirring up trouble.

Najee harris has rushed for 1k yards each season he's been in the league but his rookie year was his best, he's known more as a plodder since he barely average 4yds/carry. I thought he looked kind of spry the first half of last season tho, little bit lighter and quicker on his feet, but after week 9 his numbers dropped a lot. At 5M for 1 yr he's a cheap replacement for dobbins, healthier too but doesnt have the home run ability.
Aaron rodgers is now a free agent, u think he'll look good in the black and gold, Pops? If Tomlin could handle Antonio Brown's antics, Q-Aaron should be easy for him.

Ive seen them dye the Chicago river green before, it's somewhat cool i guess but always makes me wonder if theyre polluting it more than it already is.

add in proximity to good jobs (or other cool things) and you can see what some properties sell for a premium
here in san diego what you see is a lot of remods with someone buying an existing property and then remodeling it or adding on extra rooms and renting it out
i could see myself moving away from san diego one of these days, but the house could always be that goose that could lay me golden eggs

Hey pops, what's this training we are talking about, are we going to war on the cardiovascular, maybe some bicep curls for strengthening your arms for lifting pints on Paddy's day, im rite behind ya man..

We normally travel to one of the bigger cities to take in the parades, along with the shenanigans and antics.
The local parades in the towns and villages are very small with the usual theme being GAA or religion, maybe some tractors driving past with a large trailer loaded with sheep you would also have floats been towed by tractors, you would have different entertainers on each float from flute players and people doing the river dance classic/vintage cars would be on display as well, there was a egg and spoon race last year at the local one .. Most of the grown ups just want it to end rather quick (cringe I guess) so they can stampede the local boozer. The whole day is like a scene from the wicker man, (not sure if you seen that film) I'm sure you have watched the hills have eyes..

So we avoid the crazy local parades and drive to the City.... Her goodself will be driving the journey as she wont be drinking, if that plan changes we will stay in the city, hopefully some corned beef patties will be knocking around..

I have not done a pizza cost analysis. @PadawanWarrior is the numbers man but he rarely shows up to work any longer than 3-5 minutes. He's there just long enough to take the Jacksons out of the cash drawer.

Pizza assembly order:

1. Stretch dough
2. Spread sauce on dough
3. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over sauce
4. Add toppings
5. Add mozarella

Ya, I haven't been on here much the last few days. I'm sure it's cheaper to make your own, and if you make decent crust it's way better than Domino's. I'm gonna make some dough one of these days, but I'm thinking I should make one of the briskets in my freezer first. I have 2 and don't want that expensive of a piece of meat getting freezer burnt.

When making pizzas make sure to use block mozarella and shred it yourself. The shredded stuff has a plastic like coating on it so it doesn't stick together in the bag.

All @pop_rocks talk about crab cakes got to me. I bought a pack the other day at Safeway. What do you usually do for a side? I was thinking some kinda rice or something.

And I still haven't gotten a real Philly steak, but I bought some frozen ones at Costco and they're way better than I was expecting. I did go to Taste Of Philly around couple weeks ago, but we got their Italian sandwich instead of a Philly. They make damn good Italian's.

We're going to the casino for a night tomorrow so I'm looking forward to the free drinks. Last time a waitress smelled weed and said something so I hooked them up with some GG4. He was stoked. They called me the other day and offered an extra night and tickets to Ambrosia. I had to look it up, but it's not really my type of music and we have plants to chop so I turned down the extra night.

ahhhh!!! the rayburn freezer sandwich from costco
those things are awesome and are the perfect thing to keep around the house for a quick and easy meal when you dont feel like cooking or are drunk/stoned in the middle of the day
if you are having the crab cake as your main lets get creative and i will tell you about the stir fry cabbage
get your cabbage and cut it into ribbons, it cooks down so chop up more than you think you will need, but keep the cabbage and knife handy
while you are slashing at your cabbage put a pan on the stove with some decent oil in it and heat that puppy up
you want to hear a crackle when you throw your cabbage in the pan, that shit should be poppin
give it a second to get translucent and then right before you stir it throw in some garlic and your ancient blend of hobo spices!
hit it with a drop or water and give it a stir to loosen everything up and put the lid on the pan
let it cool but its pretty good and easy to make
not a chefs kiss worthy thing, but cook it up my man!

hey brother! we dont have a large irish community here in san diego but there will be a parade and festivities downtown, they will also have th irish dancers which i kind of like
that sounds rad! the village parade actually sounds kind of cool and im sure i would enjoy it

I have unfond memories of the St. Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage dinners served at the parish hall - Patrina Hall. Corned beef and cabbage were boiled together in large pots. By the time it was served it was grey meat and mushy cabbage floating around in a nasty broth. UGH!
