Wouldnt be a bad idea to go in sober next PT appt, Hawk. U think she smelled beer on ur breath? No wonder she was effing with u. Maybe she thought her Flip was an actual old school flip phone?

Taco bell is way overpriced for what u get, Hawk, but the cravings boxes are still a decent value i guess. Im trying to cut my fast food consumption down anyway, eat more home cooked food, but i guess ur mom likes the bell.

Yeah, i remember when JJ Watt caught like 3 tds during one of his defensive player of the year seasons. It's nice that the big guys get to display their skill sometimes but it's more of a trick play than actually playing both ways.
I think travis hunter said what he's attempting to do in the nfl will be harder than what shohei ohtani is doing in MLB, pitching and hitting. U think that sounds right, Pops?

I think joey bosa peaked his rookie year, actually, when the chargers were still in san diego (F dean spanos btw). Ever since he signed his market setting deal a few years ago he's been injured more than he's played. He steps up his game in the playoffs, tho. Rumor has it that the niners might be favorites to sign him, pair him with his 'lil bro.

Id be afraid of getting a chubby with my PT looking like that, Hawk. Perhaps you can find her doppelganger on p-hub...

I wonder if they still serve real wine at Catholic communion, Buzz. I know in non-Catholic churches they just give u grape juice. Lame. It's nasty sharing the same cup tho, even if they wipe it between sips.
I am pretty sure the wine has alcohol. That little cloth is miraculous and anti-biotic at the same time, @Bababooey
those are some sweet looking pants @buzzmobile and after wearing them for st paddies day i bet you could work them into your normal wardrobes rotation
I had to remove those from the normal rotation to send them out for repairs before the 27th.
He had the cardio to do it both ways in college
He played outfield during FSU baseball season. Cornerback only for FSU football. Jameis was a helluva an outfielder too. I saw him make a throw from deep right field to 3rd base; no cutoff no bounce for a tag out.

@buzzmobile be sure they double sew the seams and it should last you for many years to come
/ymmv

i doubt most players could play both sides of the ball in todays nfl
they wear and tear is multiplied and you arent focusing on any one skillset
who knows and this kid could be the nest rudy, but if im investing $$$ to draft a top (X) i dont want him to get hurt playing out of position
/also does he have to do two a days for ever? work out with the offense and then with the d later in the same day
he could have the lungs of aquaman but if you are out of position and lost on most plays that is not really helping the team
but im sure his agent is playing up the angle and good luck to him, that ohtani kid is something different btw
right @Bababooey i dident know @shithawk420 got that tweaked before his pt
/she knew he was on something im sure
the bell is what it is but i think hawks mom likes it and its an easy meal to grab on the go
ive been cooking more lately
the corned beef was rocking and i made a chicken and dumplings the other day
just something you set on the stove and let it cook for most of the day
the corned beef was awesome but the chicken and dumplings came out just ok and next time i will not add the dumplings, they ended up soggy the next day and i would have just rather had the chicken stew
bosa peaked pretty quickly and has had his share of injuries
/kind of reminds me of merriman another great charger d player who went fizzle
if sf want to pick up his contract then good on them, arent they looking at some big deals coming up and might be caught in the cap space pinch?
/maybe cle picks him up to try to show miles they are trying really really hard to get better

An antibiotic cloth to wipe the communion cup between sips should do it, probably uses silver instead of some anti bacteria fluid that you dont want people ingesting.

Deion was one of the OG 2 sport stars, along with Bo, we havent seen a 2 sport star in over 20 yrs now. Even Kyler murray, who was a top 10 draft pick in MLB during college, didnt play baseball at all, just focused on the NFL. Probably for the best since he got a fat QB contract, doubt he would have gotten that if he spent part of the season playing baseball.

Jameis's arm strength is one of his good points, not surprised it translated to baseball. I AM surprised he didnt hit the cutoff man since he seems to hit 'cutoff' defenders quite regularly in the NFL.

That's a good point, Pops, there's only so much practice time to go around for travis hunter but that was true in college as well and he did alright. We'll see how he handles the hits, as long as ur smart about how u take them you can limit the damage you take.

Did u make a chicken and matzo ball soup? That's kind of like a dumpling. I guess the thing with noodle soups is that noodles get 'water-logged' if they sit in the broth too long.

so you remember that corned beef i made the other day? the broth was awesome with all the onions i put in it, almost like an onion soup
so i decided to make another one but with chicken instead (im trying to eat lighter right now you know)
i got the pillsbury biscuits in a tube to top it off (my friend said yuk1)
it was good on the first day but like you said now its kind of soggy and im going to throw the mushy bread stuff out to the chickens
the soup is pretty decent and i was talking to my sister the other day about a cabbage diet thing where you replace meals with a cabbage soup
so i was watching the sports shows last night and they were talking about how sanders was not engaged in the combine and now teams are questioning his commitment
you know with a name like sanders dios is going to be there in the background, but its up to shaquer to shine (thats his name right?)
kandy krush is doing ok in the nfl and i would have bet the under on how many years he would have lasted
im not buying into the 2way t.hunter thing
there is supposed to be a hot shit d'lineman who is projected to go high in this draft? but i forget his name
im digging on the time change so far! its almost noon and ive got so much shit done
/ive done nothing, but its almost noon!

You gave dough soaked in chicken broth to ur chickens? Is that like cannibalism? You raising cannibal chickens, Pops?

Good 'ol cabbage soup, the mainstay of peasant diets during medieval times. Those guys had a low body fat % for sure.

I would think the media hate on Shadeur is mostly made up, cam ward the U miami QB didnt work out either. Most top prospects dont work out at the combine, preferring to show out at their pro day and let their college tape speak for themselves.

If T Hunter does play both ways in the league, he'll be a very good pick up in fantasy for leagues that start individual defensive players. Imagine your cornerback also racking up receptions, rec yds and tds on the regular?

Abdul carter is an edge from Penn state that's a top 5 pick, maybe top 3. Mykel williams is another Def lineman from Georgia who's a top 10 pick.

yes! it was the guy from penn state that was touted as a top-5 pick, but he may have health issues they were saying
/i need to get up to speed with the draft but im still chewing on free agency
bosa is still up for grabs but i think his contract ($$$) may be a sticking point for a lot of teams
/is he going to cle?
i kind of thought the same thing too about little'd, how a lot of the hate is just being drummed up but i dont see his as a top-5 pick
plus what role will big'd want to play in his sons career? (is this a good or a bad?)
yes! good old cabbage soup, i added a ton of onions and carrots to mine and it would have been fine, but the doughy dough chunks were not a plus
its a good meal but i was left feeling hungry the other day, but if you stuck to it i bet you could drop some pounds eating cabbage soup
i might have to work on my soup game here while its still cold enough to really appreciate it, plus im getting another corned beef this week
maybe i will also grab some guiere cheese and make french onion soups
are you eating good baba?

I think he played with a stress fracture in his right foot during the college playoffs, but he should be fine to show out at his pro day at the end of March.

Joey bosa got cut/waived by the chargers so he's no longer under contract or due any guaranteed $. He'll definitely have to take a pay cut, like u said, from the 27.5M/yr he was earning. What would be a fair price for him, something like half that?

There was some talk about Deion coaching the nfl team that drafts his son, but all the teams with coaching vacancies have filled those spots and Deion seems content with college for now. Maybe his next step up the ladder will be a bigger program, like FSU. I wonder what Buzz would think of that.

Soup that's mostly vegetables and meat, not too much fat, can definitely help u lose weight. The broth is mostly water and helps fill u up. Ive been eating more home cooked food lately, which is good, but the woman wanted Lou Malnati's deep dish recently so we ordered some take out: sausage with a butter crust. I dont know why the sausage shrinks like this tho, it's fresh/raw sausage that they press down and makes one big patty to cover the pie but the shrinkage makes it look like im getting cheated. Still good tho, we downed half of it for dinner and nibbled on the rest the next 2 days. Not bad for $35 w/tax. I think Buzz spends about $5 on ingredients for each of his pies, tho.

malnati's 1.jpg
malnati's 2.jpg

Davante's contract with the rams is 2 yrs at 22M/yr, with it being slightly front loaded as he's going to make 26M in year 1. Justin jefferson's deal is 35M/yr and is the most in the league until jamarr chase signs. You think 26M is a fair price for 1 yr of davante? I guess he can still play but not sure he's a top 10 WR anymore, he is 32 years old so about 6mths older than Kupp. Kupp was set to make about the same (26M/yr) if the rams hadn't cut him...

i thought they put the sausage at the bottom of the pie on a deep dish? its been so long since ive had a lou malnatis but i kid you not, even a day old it was one of the best pizzas i had ever had
i think they have a thing where i can order them for take and bake, but if its $35 at the shop i dont even want to think what it would cost to have one shipped to san diego
i hear that too about how big'd was going to try and play a role in little'd career
teams are drafting players to fit into a system, not someone who is going to come in an try to upend things
i know d has some success in co, but until hes coached at one of the big schools (like you mentioned)he is not ready to jump three levels up
/level 1 coach at a big school
/level 2 win consistently at said big school
/level 3 some kind of oc/dc position in the pros
this is just my taek and i would like to hear any thoughts
we will see what offers bosa gets
k.mack is a free agent and lets see what he signs for and then start working our way down from that number
d.addrock (hes a ram now so i need to come up with a name for him, next time im going to drop the d) has been a consistent 1000/y receiver , but sooper cooper knows the system and im sure has a lot of friends in the locker room
its kind of a lateral move i guess and we wll see how he does
what i would like to see is cooper go to a up and coming team and play at least 12-14 games this season and ball out
plus there is the issue of what the rams will get in trade for him
the cabbage soup is good and im going to work it into the menu
im headed out later to get another corned beef and some taters, plus a nice piece of fish
so how are you liking the time change? its almost like someone flipped a switch because it is beautiful outside

I think Giordano's puts their sausage on the bottom, on the dough, then pile the cheese and then sauce on top, Malnati's put the cheese down (probably actual slices, not shredded) then the meat then the sauce on top. I feel like if they had the sausage better protected, under the cheese instead of on top of it, it wouldnt shrink so much, but then it might need to be cooked longer.

Khalil is re-signing with the chargers for 1 yr for 18M. Is that an overpay u think? He only had 6 sacks last season, but he was also dealing with a groin injury.

Colorado is a Power 4 school, albeit one of the worst recently. They were pretty darn good in the 90s, think they won or shared a national championship with washington in 1991. But ur probably right, 'ol Neon Deion does need a bit more seasoning as a coach before he's ready for the pro's. Not sure if he needs to be a playcaller first tho, u can have lots of success as just a CEO type.

The deals are happening fast and quick so hopefully we'll find out soon where Kupp goes. Im thinking maybe the chiefs but that may just be wishful thinking on my part.

It is nice that the days are longer, that's worth losing an hr of sleep for one night.

You guys going all technical, beautiful..

Gorgeous evening, first grass cut of the season accomplished, was still a bit on the damp side but a relief to get it done. Good clean air and the whiff of mushroom 🍄 compost, ya can’t beat it with a big stick.. I believe the price of chicken eggs are at an all time high over there, time to get your own chickens. Take care people.

We do like to get scientific about our food, Superx. At least until it's time to shove it into our mouths.

The bird flu has been devastating egg laying chicken populations, yeah, i think we're having to import eggs from central and south america. Pops actually has his own chickens, they give him a handful of small eggs every day, think he saves them up for 2-3 days so he can make a decent omelet.

We're a good month away at least from grass cutting time over here, your winters must be mild, or green stuff over there just grows way faster.

the chargers have a bit of cap space having bit the bullet the past season jettisoning some big names so they have some room to play with
i do think k.mack @18m is a bit rich, but if he can play 14+ games and put up numbers like he used to its... well its still a bit much
/so it looks like most (all) of the money is guaranteed, i would have at least try to put some performance incentives in there
yeah things are getting exciting and we wont really know how it all shakes out until after the draft and teams fill out the spots they could not fill
i think putting that layer of cheese at the bottom gives the pizza a whole different texture and i kind of like it
we will have to ask @buzzmobile if he has ever dont a layer of cheese on the bottom of one of his pies

whats up xman @superx
that is a beautiful sunset and the only thing left to do would be to sip a nice drink and blaze one up
is that all your land up to that wall?
i was talking to a friend and she said the eggs were like 7-8$/dozen! im like what the heck? so every time my chickens lay an egg its like im finding dollar bills in the box?

That is funny, @Bababooey , and true.

I doubt that Deion would come back.
I think Buzz spends about $5 on ingredients for each of his pies, tho.
I have not done a pizza cost analysis. @PadawanWarrior is the numbers man but he rarely shows up to work any longer than 3-5 minutes. He's there just long enough to take the Jacksons out of the cash drawer.
we will have to ask @buzzmobile if he has ever dont a layer of cheese on the bottom of one of his pies
Pizza assembly order:

1. Stretch dough
2. Spread sauce on dough
3. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over sauce
4. Add toppings
5. Add mozarella

Hey buzz does everybody in the the audience get some of this pizza, your a dab hand at this. There’s definitely a level of science involved with breads/pastries when bringing everything together, helps having long piano fingers as well.
Just out and about and came across these, I thought I had them all accounted for, they keep popping up all over the place weeks after the winds. Going to do a proper scale of the place later.
These are around 40 + years.

Hey babba how's it hanging.. I found the footy talk technical, though when it comes to baking, bread/pastry/ dough, one needs to get there technical chefs hat on.
You ever notice those hats that chefs wear? The bigger the hat the more superiority that chef will have, usually head/executive.. Then you have pastry chefs who wear traffic cones on there head..
South American eggs man, are these a different shape or what? I'm only yoakin ya..
I recall pops and his chickens, that man is streets ahead of all ya.. Fox's and chickens do not mix around my neck of the woods unfortunately.

Are the bird flu numbers on the rise then, Hopefully it mutates or something...

October when the winter really sets in babba, temps happened to be rather mild this year, it was the winds that broke all records.. Though its still rather unsettled, 12c yesterday and -1 last night..
Spring is my favourite time of the year, (which is officially here) just as the ground is starting to warm and the trees get there first leaves, it's great to Potter around outdoors man, my imagination runs away with me at the best of times when it comes to the planning and grounds work outdoors, half the shit never gets done..

It's paddy's day on Monday (St Patrick's day) one must avoid the temptation. ☘
