Hey brother it's the fire blazer AKA hope you're doing well and I hope you find everything you need and succeed sometimes you'll end up finding jewels..... Currently on week 2 I believe with the testers u sent I will get in touch be well stay safe and look forward to chatting againFigure it was time to start a thread up on ICMAG, for those that don't know me, my name is Jeff and I am the man behind Dragons Flame Genetics. Im a long-time grower, came up in the medical nor cal days, Sacramento County, Amador / Calaveras County in Mokelumne Hill and West Point, 10 seasons in Northern Oregon / Willamette Valley, 1 season in Mendocino / Covelo area, and 2 Seasons on the big Island Of Hawaii, and now back in Oregon for a year.
Typically I have done big canopies with 48-99 full term while doing 10 to 40 lights indoors as well.
At the moment I am going back to school and am pursuing a MBA at the Clarks Honors College / University of Oregon, so I'm in the smallest canopy I've done in...well pretty much ever. Currently I am just growing in a 1 car garage, as well as a couple tents in a spare bedroom while I go to college. Still working some lines and having some fun, so figure Id put up a thread here as well.
That haole moonshine bomberI been seriously slacking on keeping up on the forums...life is way to insane at the moment, but the garden is chugging along. We are now week 7 in flower, seeds are ripening up nicely. My lack of attention is happening in the garden as well, haven't really been de-leafing and tying up colas like I usually would be doing, but regardless, going to be a nice crop of seeds. The male blackberry moonshine bx1 has been moved into the veg space to reveg and see if he will.
Next run is likely going to be a reversal attempt of my mac dragon #10 keeper to try to make a new verison of mac dragon feminized beans. Previously I used the #7 pheno which was the better for hawaii climate. the 10 was still very mold resistant, but it has the more mac look structure with tight rock hard buds while the 7 has a more nobby, cone shaped open structure. I know everyone wants fems, so Im hoping the #10 will reverse as easily as the 7 did so I can get a nice. we shall see.
So far, of the new cuts I got over this year (Zoap, pinesoul , grape gas, lemon pastries, Obama Kush) Grape Gas is looking and smelling like the winner right now. LOUD grape taffy candy terps.. The zoap...another hype cut thats a let down so far. We shall see if the final weeks of flower in this run change my mind...but its the lightest smell in the room. The pinesoul is interesting, definitely get an an old school Og type smell. I've grown previous gogi og seeds, so its interesting to see bodhi's selection vs what I saw from seed. From seed I found a beautiful strawberry og type terp. Not really getting that exciting feeling from the pinesoul cut as from seed, but we shall see. The obama kush is a fun one, definitely see both parents in it, and see why its been kept around. She will likely stick around as well. The lemon pastries im not sure about, has a lemon terpinolene profile, but to a lesser quality then I saw in the haole moonshine.
