Count me in.....I still am trying to convince my friends from Canada that we need to conduct a hostile takeover of the Micronation of Sealand. I'm not sure they think I'm serious....but all we need is like 10-30 people with machine guns and 1 helicopter. That's not too much to ask.

How is your fan doing, quiet enough for you? That insulated ducting should help.

If it is still not quiet enough, suspend it with bungee cords, or rubber strap cords. If you look in my gallery you can see a pic of it. That will really deaden the sound. that coupled with insulated ducting and my 465 is nice and quiet.

Have a great 4th of July.....I will be watching the fireworks on the beach with my wife and my parents.

Just wanted to pop in and say Happy 4th as well. We used to shoot propane tanks up on the mountain with tracer rounds from the back yard for our home-made fireworks! Fire in tha hole!

SILVER BACK ~ yeah bro just measure your fan roughly
my 6in vortex is about 11in X 13in
and go buy a cooler with a bit more room (inside) than that
i cut a 6.5in hole in each side to run the ducting through
then stuff it with whatever you have that will muffle the sound, i just happen to have a bunch of insulation
if your using ducting without insulation and need to plug up around your duct holes
get a can of spray foam sealent to do the trick
easy as pie bro i hope it works for you
