Introducing @ 42 Days Flower: Purple Kush!?
K.J- thanks for checking in on progress...
Chambers 1&2:
Quick shots of less significant progress, my clones still havent rooted and they
are starting to die, with any luck i will see roots tomm or in the next few days.
Chamber 3:
These babies are looking great with nice close nodes still compared to the last
time i flowered my JTR these strectched alot less thanks to toppping and fan
leaf removal for light penetration.
Chamber 4: Day 42 of flower
(Quick note on last weeks update... I said that these plants were at 6 weeks
and they were really at 5 this week they are actually at 6 weeks)
Two shots, on the left is all the plants and on the right just the JTR or back
row of plants (front plants moved outta way for picture)
A new development is that if you focus in on the picture on the left in the
front pictured is what i believed to be 2 Church clones; however, it looks as
if i accidentally snagged a Purple Kush from my last batch and the plant on
the right which seemed to be far behind its sister Church plant is in fact
Purple Kush... just check out the buds they show all:

This is a pic after i left my plants for 5 days and the JTR just took off, and got
a little burned up, just gonna let it ride out till next week when i top.
Chamber 3:
These babies are beginning to turn to puff balls and have for the most part
maintained tighter nodes than my week 7 JTR's...
Chamber 4:

These babies are beginning to look like they want to finish up (at least the
church has begun to go amber and so has some of the JTR) the pictures may
not show it but JTR looks like i melted a piece of saran wrap over it thats
how shiny the trichs are
This previous Saturday begins the 10 day flush... with a tentative harvest of
the 9th, i will be trying to let them finish at their own rate.

2.5 sounds good, if I can accomplish that I think 4 is possible with more training,

Jack the Ripper (week 7 still)
Things are still looking great in there and with a projected harvest of Tuesday
pistils are still a little white for my taste I may be forced to stick plants with
white pistils outside into indirect sunlight that is 10/14 to ripen for a few more
days,
I would hate to rush them but in my system I have vegetating plants ready
to flower and I have some plants that are ready to ripen under the HPS so
ready or not i need that hps.
As for the church, now at 7 weeks also things are looking great for a projected
8 week harvest in just a few days, amber pistils and bulky buds on this
plant
Purple Kush will get a couple more weeks in hopes it does something, right now
the yield looks to be smaller than what i would like but if i can get it to turn
a purple-ish hue then i would be happy with the small amount.

Ok so i got a little anxious and according to the pistils on the church today is
the day i was supposed to cut this guy:
Starting with the entire plant, then showing just the branch i took tonight...
Then on the left the main cola of the plant with lighter reference and zoom
and then for the most exciting surprise (in the last pic) my first purple!
Trichs are still clear cloudy... I am considering giving this another week to turn
a little more purple, any suggestions... because i am afraid to leave it too long
resulting in 100% amber trichs that are less effective and input appreciated

Today was the big day here is a shot of the total yield from my purpling church plant:
Chamber 1:
First (not so great) pics of the new stash...
6 clones 2x white widow, 2x the purps, and 2x grapefruit kush... the purps (right)
i bought discounted because they were dehydtrated gonna check out infirmary...
Chamber 2:
Throwing ol faithful (my screen) back into the mix
Ok so the '4 week system' no longer applies as long as i have plants that need
about 9 weeks or so flower (not to mention i now have white widow) so right
now everything is backed up however to stay as much on schedule as possible
i have hooked this 200w CFL up to a timer 12/12 and threw in transition nutes
Chamber 3&4:
Again the system is backed up so this was supposed to be the week these babies
moved under the HPS, this is now delayed...
On the left 28 days of JTR in 12/12 and on the right PK mixed with JTR now
at 56 days... PK really yet to do anything, if the JTR were set to dry i fear
it would shrink into nothing... this plant has yet to fill out (more light perhaps?)

Church went into glass as of today and weighed out to 22.7 grams (it seems too dry)
but has begun to smell great... maybe a week of curing will restore some moisture

Ok i needed room and may have jumped the gun but here is a pic of 2 of my JTR
plants hung out to dry after their day 63 harvest...
This is gonna dry out fast because its still airy bud, though it did manage to keep
gain some mass in the final weeks... this is now 2 days into dry

My dimensions of my final ripening flowering chamber (150w HPS) is 2'x2'x3'...
Chamber 2 area=18"x18"X22" (no babies in chamber 1):
Pictured is 2x grapefruit kush, 2x white widow, 1x Church(small) and 1x The purps;
these babies are now officially vegetating under 200w bright white flourescent
Chamber 3 area=2'x2'x3':
In this chamber we have new to flowering the HinduxSkunk, SensiStar, and of
course jack the ripper.
Chamber 4 area=2'x2'x3':
In the front (pictured left) is my purple kush still going and at 66 days this
will go a full 70-77 days since the nugs are relatively small still... the rest
pictured are all Jack the Ripper now at 36 days or so into 12/12

hang dry that weighs them out at about 31 grams so i am considering this last
batch of 3 JTR plants (flowered clone immediatley after rooting) to be much airy
then i would have liked...
So for those keeping track my first round of plants still has 1 left, Purple
Kush,that has amber pistils but i am still letting ripen because the trichs are clear
she is supoercropped 5" from the light and shes still green...
Also.... 22 grams + 31 grams = 53 grams total yeild from this crop so far under
the 150w HPS plus one plant to go
17 grams from PK and i will have achieved 2.5oz so well see....

Bud hardener is on its way... along with some bushmaster for those stretchy JTRs
As for the final yield of my first harvest i got 31 from the Mystery Kush plant
which dried fast and smells soooo potent.
Total, dry, I harvested 84 Grams... under the 150w hopefully the next JTR batch
can do the same or better.
