Chamber 1:

Pic of a few new cuttings and one last church that has yet to root...
The other cuttings have been introduced to soil, nitrogen, and 200wcfl

Chamber 2:

Couple bad pics i have 3 clones that have spring roots inside here now that
with any luck will be able to pull through, I think i like the cheap cloning foam
over the rockwool...

Chamber 3:

Church pictured left and Jack the Ripper on the right...

Again Church left and JTR right, now at 21 days... in one more week these
babies move to the HPS!:joint:

Thanks Geenatik, I am just hoping cloning goes well and temps stay low.

Chamber 1 was just cleared out and due to my laziness i have yet to take cuts
of my JTR plants that are just coming out of vegetation.

Chamber 2:

The new mix: 2xSensiStar, 2xHinduKush, 3XJackTheRipper... not much success
in my cloning something i really need to perfect to make this work!

Chamber 3:

Here is where i sort of mixed things up. After the two church beasts didnt fit
well under the HPS I had to keep them here, this is where they will finish
(unless I find a way to finish them outdoors) and hidden behind are two
JTR plants fresh out of their 4 weeks of vegetation... this time topped to
control that crazy stretch :joint:.

Chamber 4: First Time!

When it comes to flowering most would agree there is nothing more beautiful
than an HPS glow to ripen up those nugs. Temps in this room are at 75
degrees. Pictured of course is strictly JTR here, 3 at 28 days have been
LST'ed to safely fit under the warm light, meanwhile the other four JTR's are
just in their first day of flower and have been topped to control their stretch.

ok man, lets see it, a full shot of the cab. And can we get some vent info. This is awesome!

one q, i guess i should be more clear there are 2x in a vertical layout and then
2x in horizontal that strictly flower... so its like a 2 piece set.
but new pics of the entire setup are overdue and ill uploadem tonite...

and 2 fans venting it all... however this system is doable with only one of these
fans, the secret to indoor ventiation is controlling the airflow, or air tight rooms (or chambers),
I vented each room so that cooler air is entered in the room towards the bottom
of the room then air is extracted from the top of the room where the air is its warmest
from the lights and it then enters the next chamber on the bottom thus repeating its
path through the room then out a fan..

PVC is used as ducting because it is smooth and provides a nice smooth airflow.

Keep asking questions i know that was kinda unclear!

Update with pics soon...

one more thing.

one more thing.

If you have the 2 areas in one cab set on alternating light sched, the second area will bennifit from always having cooer air, sinse it wont be pulling air from the 1st room with lights on.

*mad humble*
Not trying to be the boss, just putting that out there for the summer time.

mg00c, Quazi, one Q, kelly thanks for stopping in, be sure to check in for weekly
updates to see how everything turns out, any suggestions please dont hesitate...

one Q, Kelly as for the ventilation, i pull everything from a 4 inch inline fan with
absolutely no label on it (no idea what cfm) but it works wonders. Air moves so
fast that my cfls dont even get a chance to heat up... but hear me out:

temp increase is greater in cooler temps and i am registering 10 Fahrenheit
degrees warmer at some of my coolest temperatures outside (btw my closet
where these are located opens to my back terrace so its open all night and
closed during the day)
on a warmer day thats about 80F at night you may think that it may reach
90F or above given the above information; however, it acutally wont heat up
as an entire 10 degrees Fahrenheit but more like 8 degrees (80F is also my
worst case scenario for outside temp)

pics say a thousand words and im getting an error where i go to upload and
when i do it says there are no more images.

please don't fear insulting me sometimes its the only way for me to learn!:joint:

The long waited pics!

The long waited pics!

Here some pics for ya one Q...

This is a picture of my closet, from where I the photographer am standing, I am
acutally outside and this is a shed off my apt terrace (doesnt open into apt)

When you walk in... to the left is pictures left; right side pictured right (close)

Chambers one and two (left side from above aka 24/0):

Ventilation:

Blue is intake and air path, red is exhaust (notice how i concentrate exhaust
as close to my lights as possible keeping them as cool as possible)

Chambers three and four (right side above aka 12/12):

Ventilation:

The PVC that vents this design was recommended in the tutorial for the NGB
box because of its nice round shape it can pull air sooo smoothly. The cfls
are warm to the touch but heat given off by them doesnt travel towards the
plants to each side, but rises straight up to the top of the room and the
biggest threat is if that warm air backs up, fortunately it never will thanks
to the PVC vents i installed so close to the top of the cab... they arent pictured!
These four exhaust PVC vents duct their way to the bottom of the second
12/12 cab wehre the HPS is located. The most important thing to keeping
this thing cool is making ALL my exhaust pass by the HPS, never giving the bulb
a chance to heat the chamber...

Hope this helps a little with carifying some unaswered questions!:joint:
Keep em coming, Ill update with pics come tuesday, but ill be repotting this evening.

The doors are made of four main materials:
1) Clear couch cover material,
2) Reflective tape,
3) White duct tape
4) Velcro
5) (hot glue)

I cut the clear couch cover material to the size i needed for the door (leaving
eough room for me to apply my vlecro.) Then I use the reflective tape and wallpaper
my door. I would recommend if anyone attempts to repeat this to overlap
slightly to ensure total coverage cause this makes it light proof. Now on top of
that layer of reflective tape layer the door with white duct tape (this is
not just for cosmetics it actually reinforces the reflective tape which with wear
tends to tear open.
The adhesive side of the reflective tape is also shiny and works as a perfect
reflector right through the plastic which holds this together...

adhesive velcro is tempermental and that is why the plastic is used, 3M
velcro sticks to the plast used on the doors perfectly, however with the wood,
there is a different story. I reinforced the vlecro with hot glue and the
occasional screw!

Pittsburgh Kush thanks for stopping in and checking things out :joint:
In order to make the window i simply didnt cover that small part of
plastic and then made a tape flap to cover the exposed window. What worked
out great here was its vital to get the temps of my system totally enclosed,
and this was the perfect way to do it!

EDIT: The clear couch material i speak of is that stuff that protects furniture
its clear and i find it rather anoying... anyways it can be found in walmart in
the craft section for like 2 bucks a yard

Kelly to break it down light wise....
My lights cost me daily: (all values rounded up to nearest hundredth or cent value)

4x23 wcfl light bulbs @ 24hrs/daily: .25
1x200 wcfl light bulb @ 24hrs/daily: .49
2x125 wcfl light bulb @ 12hrs/daily: .30
1x150 whps light bulb@ 12hrs/daily: .18
2xInline 4" cooling fan@ 36hrs/daily: .40
____________________________________

Daily I am looking at ..................$ 1.22 for lights and $1.62 for the whole thing
and this is rounding up to account for my HPS ballast :

1.62 X 28 (my closets fiscal period length is 28 days) = $45.36

Under the 150w, in a smaller area (chamber 2) under a screen i was able to flower
two plants one chopped at about 75 days and the other prematurely to root
rot at about 45 days and dried and totaled and dried I harvest 2.75 oz (this
is best so far under the 150w and the goal is to get 4 oz ever 4 weeks:joint:!)

With that in mind the final calculation assuming i can yield 3oz every 4 weeks is:

$45 / 3 = $15 per ounce in electric

...at least I think!

Chamber 1:

5 Day old cuttings that have yet to root, but still have retained most of their color...

Chamber 2:

Assortment of JTR, HinduKushxSkunk, and SensiStar... now one week into veg.

I finally took the time... trained my church plants and got them under the HPS
with the JTR's so the flowering rooms are now segregated to Chamber 3 day 8
flowering JTRs are all together under the CFLs and Church and JTR at day 42
are flowering under the HPS...

Chamber 3:

Pictured is one of my day8 plants (prob not the best) the yellowing was from the
cfl during vegetation getting too close, oh well... together all 6 already
almost completely fill the chamber but with about another week and a half of
stretch i am really running out of room quickly

Chamber 4:

Pictured in front are the two chruch plants and in the middle you can just make
out 3 JTR main colas.

Some budshots, church on the left, JTR on the right... at 6 weeks
