Looking bang tidy ad always kid.
Started the hunt for some big bollix again..
Found nothing in the bunnlegum seeds I purchased last year.
Mixed my sts up too... waiting for it to get a bit warmer.

Was given some.e flourish by ecothrive, perked up some abused clones super quick and cheap too if you're in the market for a good rooting/reviver.

Yo Half arsed, how's it going bud?
Thanks man, yeah it smells nice in here at the mo. Don't understand these people with carbon filters, anyone would think they don't like the smell of weed or something .
STS hey, hmmm, I do need to get some C.S. on the go myself at the end of the year, much rather play with healthy silver than poisonous silver. Always wondered if copper would work, they are very closely related. C.S. is easy enough to buy and evaporate a bit of water off to improve the strength though.
Never heard of ecothrive, I like hesi supervit as a pick me up for abused clones, and I've never used a stimulant for cuttings. I was looking recently though as I've got that many on the go, I can't really be taking a few to make sure one roots. So I was considering growth tech.s clonex gel. I'm not really into putting poo into my soil, even worm poo. (Yeah I looked it up,) so think I'll give that a pass :Bolt:

24 days from flip, 19 from first pistils:

I'm all good mukka.. ecothrive are a company from Sheffield.

I've used clonex forever. It's what I was taught with. Tried powders but never had the strike rate as with the clonex.

Ecothrive do a nice organic range.
Insect frass
Teas
They do a good soil amendment too which I have been messing with. £30 for 5kg and I use 80G per 10l pot to recharge the soil.
The Thrive is seaweed blend no nasties as far as I know.

I did CS years ago with mixed results. I'm wary of the STS myself, I had black specks on my fingers for weeks after pushing some with my finger tip!! I'll be wearing gloves and a mask when the time comes...

Growing some sensi sticky orange xxl ATM, 30 seeds for 60 when they had 50% off. Money was tight and I couldn't turn that down.

That sticky orange has a very nice write up on sensi's site. Pity it's an auto, i really do want to add an orange to my stable at some point soon. Most are sativas though. That sounds nice but I need to be able to keep cuts.
I'm actually adding some new flavours myself ATM, but you'll have to wait till I get them for info. I hate saying what I'm going to do, much rather say "look what I did 😁"
I recently planted a couple of seeds, seeds broke the shell, but not the surface of the soil. I would plant more, but waiting on a new delivery, so I'll pop some new stuff next week, hopefully.

Speaking of clones, I've never posted the method that I need to stop doing. Here goes, just took some.
Select a branch I like
IMG_20240208_161409_HDR~2.jpg

Cut it off
IMG_20240208_161526_HDR~2.jpg

Trim the energy grabbing and requiring leaves back
IMG_20240208_161647~2.jpg

Cut the green off the base to leave to area that actually roots,
IMG_20240208_161820~2.jpg

And pop it into a clone farm to see who roots and starts to grow again first. They are the winner and the rest, well they don't get a bright future.

This is why I need to start using a hormone instead. I need to keep my numbers down to increase the variety I can keep.

Ok folks, dilemma time.
Yes I've read the threads, and pmmed someone who made the best comment I read, but still I feel unsatisfied as to my knowledge in this.

Colloidal Silver Forte 150 PPM 100% Natural Dark Amber Silver Essence Amber Glass Bottle 100 ml Spray https://amzn.eu/d/bVhPUWZ

Colloidal Silver 100 PPM – Highly Concentrated (Purity 99.99%) (500 ml) https://amzn.eu/d/c7ZlFw9

Premium Colloidal Silver 40ppm 500mL ● Optimal Concentration Formula, Smaller Particles, Better Results ● Laboratory Certified ● Liquid Silver Made in EU ● Free Spray Bottle to Fill & Ebook Included https://amzn.eu/d/97M9ZqL

These are the best value options in the UK.

Question, is using the weakest 3 times a day, the same as using the strongest once a day? I don't know. Does anyone? Or does this need someone 😉 to do an experiment? I suppose this means I can rule out buying the middle strength though doesn't it.

I think 25ppm was the strongest I ever used.
I could be wrong, but I think it was twice a week. Two weeks before and two after. As I said mixed results.

I had to run the autos due to location and heat retention.
Temps are up and down like a hookers knickers... I'm actually surprised by them. For the cost they are the most stable I've seen with limited exp of Autos. 1 out of 6 looks different in the structure but still in the height range of the others. Lovely crown style with min spread so far.

You might put the feelers out for the AE77 it's was a solid clone. All day orange and crossed out well. I'm sure one of your contacts could get a touch.

I actually went looking for that a few years ago, no luck anywhere. It seems it's almost extinct in the original now. At least within my reach.
From what I could gather, subcool was the guy with the best orange seeds, and he's not around anymore. I'm going to have to wait until someone comes out with some good orange seeds in the future at this point. Non auto ones. I know there are a lot to choose from, but non I really like the look of.

I've got some good info from asking around on the c.s. I almost feel ready to do some extreme experiments, but I need a separate play tent first, and mars have sold out 😒. Also I want a whole playpen of victims to be my guinea pigs and recipients, should I succeed. So my timing has to be right.
Once mars makes some more tents, and once my new playmates arrive and I've got space to let them run around in, I'll put my white coat on and let the show begin. Until then, it's business as usual around here I'm afraid. I know it's getting a little boring, but I can only do so much while I'm waiting for others to pull their fingers out.

I would just stick to buying your missus some perfume, i'm sure it will go down better.

So I've heard a number of reputable people say collodial silver doesn't work nearly as well as STS for making fems (Chimera, Nspecta, Matt Riot), but have no personal experience. Also if you're worried about plant counts or anything, that experiment I did with air-layering worked. Don't think it would need hormones, just maybe more time. Plants look terrific.

Yeah , Tom Hill always told me to grab some sts if I ever decided to play that game. But I refuse to play with poisons like that whereas the c.s. is not only safe, but many use it as a health benefit. It really is just something I've never done, and I like to do things I haven't done before. It just adds interest to the hobby.

So you managed to clone your quad branch? Do you still plan to use it as a root stock for a multi,-dna supply plant? Air layering is a an interesting technique, I've seen it used for trees, esp in the creation of bonsai trees, but I haven't seen it in our game. It's something to consider for sure, thanks. Grafting is another thing that's interesting, but I'm not good at trimming root systems. I've always killed anything I've tried that on. And keeping a mother root stock, nevermind the grafting of new branches onto it, is above my skill set.
