As u can see, i have a wide range of phenos. One Zamaldelica is stretching very much while some others are not (maybe because i pollinated them?). Same goes for the Tropical Mix plants. There's 2 very stretchy ones, a tiny one (looks a little indica too me but the flowering time doesnt seem to match to an indica pheno, it is just looking like one) and 2 little stretchy plants.

first time seeing ace genetics being run under cobs. those turquoise hues are incredible

do you have fans wired onto the heatsinks or just using the tent intake/exhausts? what is the tent size?

for others thinking of running cobs, 50W+/cob is usually run for those that aren't willing to pay more upfront for higher efficiency. 50W runs hotter therefore the lifespan is shorter. with OP's build using the 1.05A driver, and assuming 36V model, the lights should have about a 60% efficiency.

generally 1 cob/sq ft is a good rule of thumb @ 1.05A. 25 cobs at 60% usually translates to a PPFD of 880 per 5'x5'

I'm glad you are enjoying with the genetics Mephorius :)
Seems you have been busy with the pollinations!

You are doing a great job taming these sativa genetics in such small space, the yield could be higher adding a bit more of light and nutrients in flowering stage, but for personal use i also prefer flowers that have not been heavily fertilized. Maybe you need to overmature a bit the plants to get fat, very fertile seeds.

Best regards,

Yes it's fun growing these strains :woohoo:

The pollination was a success, the seeds look healthy and ready for the fridge (will store them there for 1 or 2 months before I put some in the dirt).

Tropical Mix #2, day 66

Both Zamaldelicas are 57 days in, the Tropical Mix plants are both 66 days in (forgot to add it).

They all build up some very nice sativa buds, different in structure and smell from plant to plant. I have a short flowering Zamaldelica and one that just started to put out tons of new white pistols. It looks amazing!
On the other hand I have a Tropical Mix plant that seems to have the longest flowering time of them all.
Cannot wait to vape her when she is ready :rtfo:

Its the first time I grow plants with a longer flowering time than the usual 60 to 65 days. And I'm tired of smoking indicas, so I decided to do some research about good sativa genetics and ended up ordering from ace seeds. I hope to find a good keeper with a nice and clean up-high.

And a couple of days ago I ordered 10x Bangi Haze reg and 10x Guatemala reg to try out more nice strains

Cheers and have a good weekend guys!

My new order just arrived!

As I told you... I can't get enough of your strains, Dubi!
So this is what I've ordered for my next Ace Seeds sativa run :)

10x Bangi Haze standard/reg
10x Guatemala standard/reg

I have to say... I'm already so excited to let them pop :woohoo:

The time will come when I grew out all of your sativa strains

Cheers and have a nice weekend!

They both look very vigorous to me, maybe this is a good sign
for the entire cross?

Short and stocky, but very pretty girl indeed. And nice "curves" too, those colas look packed with goodies.

Interesting method, keeping things small but with great return, by the looks of it. Nicely done!

Tropical Mix #2, 90 days and still not done, just awesome buds!

Thank you very much for your input guys! :)

Today I wanna show you one of my Tropical Mix plants. She is the prettiest plant I ever had. Just fucking awesome and breathtaking.

If everyone is thinking about buying a pack or two of the regular/standard Tropical Mix - go ahead and do it! Its really worth it. Dont judge the pack by its price.

Here she is:

Tropical Mix #2, 90 days and not even close to be done, grown in a 0,5l pot

Hello :)

Hello :)

Thanks for your kind words @scai :thank you:

Maybe panama x?
Is Panama flowering 120 days or even more? Today is the 95th day and it is slowly starting resin production and it looks far away from being finished yet (or anytime soon). :) My best bet would be around 120 to 130 days from what I see right now.

Chop chop time for one of the plants

Chop chop time for one of the plants

Today i chopped one of the Tropical Mix plants, it smells fantastic like a very fresh mango or apricot! Very tasty, I really love the plant. So today I chopped her and I left some lower buds on the plant to put re-veg her. Wish me luck with that
