Thanks @OZZ_ for your efforts to dig into Zamaldelica breeder pack lines with such green hands :smoke:
The GT leaner from the elite line looked amazing and sounded truly epic in potency, psychedelia and depth.
Do you have in mind to explore other lines of the pack in near future ?

Glad to hear that @Cactus Squatter :D you chose to start probably my 2 favorite lines from the pack
Thanks, please keep us updated!

Hi Dubi!

I absolutely plan at some point to run the lines, I’ve been having a hard time fitting satties into my line ups lately but need to make the space. I really want to keep digging 💯

Are those the final female/male ratios for the 2 lines @Cactus Squatter ?
Of the 5 from each pack I popped yeah. I still have the rest of those packs to go through, wouldn’t surprise me if the ratio evens out.
Some of the males really started to flower fast. I started them on Oct 1 under 12/12 cycle. The females have only thrown 1 preflower each as of last night and just got moved to their final pots.

I’m definitely planning to use the tallest Zamal A Male along with any Elite or Zamal A males that start to get a good smell on them. So far the smells are very low.
After growing so many of your strains it always kind of takes me by surprise how easy it is to keep zamaldelicas a manageable size in a tent.

Actually I was wrong about one of the Zamaldelica Elite. Final ratio is 2 females, 3 males. The one female’s first preflower was a double calyx that looked like a claw. Figured it was a male until I saw them both with pistils poking out.

I kept the tallest Zamal A male and the heaviest flowering and best smelling elite line male for throwing some pollen. Stem rub on the elite line male is very sour smelling. Should be interesting.

The Zamal A female so far, very thin branches but surprisingly sturdy for how delicate they look.
I’ll have to unbury the Elite line plant to get a decent picture. She’s in a back corner and I couldn’t lean over without crushing an Oaxaca Panama that’s in with her.

One thing of note with both the Zamal A and the elite line plant, they both do not like Pyrethrum spray. I hit all the plants in there before flowering really kicked off right after lights off, and the next day they were both showing stress, lots of speckles that turned to spots on me and kinda stunted the tip growth of the Zamal A slightly.
Oaxaca Panama, Oaxaca A5 and Panama Haze all got hit at the same time and showed zero stress.

So kind of an oddity, I took the Zamal A male I had, let it flower, then took pollen dumping branches from it and dusted both the Zamal A and the Zamal Elite female with its pollen.
Zero seeds showed up on either plant and it’s been several weeks. I hit them with a ton of pollen to.

The Zamal A is looking mean. Very large trichs. Very woody smelling.

The Zamal elite looks like a Christmas tree, and each bud section grew as a horn shape out at an angle from the main stalk, so it’s not really building a dense main cola so much as it’s building a cone of horns poking out everywhere. It smells like the zamaldelica Mango with a little carrot, but as a sherbet kind of lean to it. Very creamy and delicious smelling, none of the sour or over ripe mango smell I usually get.

I’ll get some updated pics when they get closer to finish. I think we’re around 10 weeks in right now.
