I need ideas.... pro growers.... (who i know still lurk here)... if you had a whole house to grow in, and wanted to set up 3 rooms.... would you just use simple coco or would you set up some sort of hydro system in two (flower) of the three rooms..... Im talking lowest possible maintenance with average to above average results with a cut of good genetics.... i am an HVAC master and a little more then a novice electrician... i would like to know what the big guys would recommend.... dont need long replys - simple 1 sentence replies would work well..... ive been around the block so (please) SHOOT! :thank you:

Those lights are 1000 watt HPS hortilux bulbs. Out of those 24 buckets I get almost 4,000 grams with 7 days veg in the flowering room. Mylar won't hurt. Check out my thread with loads of details here:

I also have a tutorial on building these systems for around $500 and that includes your pumps. This system is better than Undercurrents for plants up to 55 inches. Come vote on my tutorial thread so I know how to help you guys:

Saw this thread('s title), and had to share https://www.icmag.com/threads/digits-cab.18125140/

Seeing the thread's original post's question, "whole house", well, still, yes. My microscrog cab design's efficiency (by it's main key features mentioned in brief so far: compact, white no light-leaks), can be duplicated over and over, stacked, filling a whole house if you want.

But then, which efficiencies?

Electricity? Space? Work time?

And does the shape and environment etc of the house accommodate it well?

Would have to play each house, by each preference of of efficiencies sought.

Coco in pots,4 plants under a 600 watt,(still the most efficient light or it was before leds etc)grew big then flipped,u could get a few 600s in a 3 bedroom house,I'd put each light in a 1,2 tent with a fan (u could use a 1m tent if pushed for space or a 2,4 tent for 2 lights) it's easier to control odours with a tent which is important if it's in a built up area.if it's for personal stash/quality then this is how I'd do it/used to do it.76

Coco drain to waste tables ,some gavitas with double end bulbs, little veg time and1-3 gallon buckets, multivatering.and scrogging with double nets. Thats about it. Forget to mention good genetics to work with.
